The fourth and final stop on our "day date" (see my reviews for The General Store, Tyler Kingston Mercantile, and Mid Coast Modern) was a store called Fetch, located in the West Bottoms. I recently attended a web event where the shop owners shared a few of their trending items, but what I'd seen online did not prepare me for the MASSIVE collection of goods at Fetch.
There's a great selection of gift items, many of which are a bit risqué, but clever and funny-- keychains, valet trays, candles, socks, etc. There were beanie caps and backpacks, a PHENOMENAL collection of waxed canvas and leather bags, and novelty items with a particular nod to Dolly Parton and Schitt's Creek. But the REAL meat in this store was its VAST collection of vintage clothing and accessories.
Don't get in your head that if you see something you like you can go look for it in your size. It's not that kind of collection. These are curated and select pieces... if the one you see is in your size, you're in luck. If not, you'll need to keep on looking for the next treasure. As a "big boy" these kinds of shops aren't generally somewhere I can shop for myself, but despite that, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be coming back to Fetch again and again.
If you've never visited the West Bottoms, you need to. It is a one-of-a-kind place... and it's a PERFECT fit for a store like Fetch!
