What a hoot this place is, the food is great, but the real Gem is, George the owner, with his charisma as he entertains patrons. This is my only place to eat when visiting Cairns, and a must for locals and tourists alike.

Great all round 👍 food tasted fresh and full of the flavours expected, just the right balance! Probably ate too much due to how good it tasted and ordered too many small plates 😆 staff were brilliant, attentive with great personable traits making it very welcoming and the food service wait time was not long at all…although it is Monday evening so maybe different on weekends? I’d recommend this to my friends and family without a doubt 👌

The best meal and service we have had in Cairns so far!! We could not fault the food for any of the entrees or the mains we received. There were great options for myself who is a vegetarian, for my partner who loves seafood and for the meat eaters. The atmosphere was that of a real family authentic Greek restaurant. This was especially do to the patron George individually greeting every table, making them feel welcome and ensuring they were happy with everything. A special mention to the lovely staff members who were also very attentive. We will be coming back to this restaurant for sure!

This restaurant was very nice. It has a lot of seating which isn't evident when you look in from the street. There are 4 zones I could see. There's the sidewalk tables, a seating zone when you enter from the street, a zone further back and behind that (behind some glass windows) there's another zone that's harder to see. The service we received was fast & efficient. Orders were taken promptly, food brought out in quick time and our empty plates were cleared away fast, too. I thought the prices were very good. I / we were there for lunch and there's a range of inexpensive items costing $10 or less and even the higher priced dishes were in the range of $17-20. All the food we ordered was good. There's nothing to complain about at Fetta's. I notice some bad reviews & the owner seems to respond to them. I'm pretty sure he was there when we visited & he was enjoying socialising with some of the guests. Nothing wrong with that. He seems to be proud of his restaurant, its food & service. Good for him.

The fish and octopus was surprising to us, they were yummy. It was also my first time to try flounder. However, the lamb that we have ordered it was really dry and we sit inside of the restaurant , the air was completely not circulated. We were just want to finish and go. Not a satisfied experience at all

Food was excellent. Service was good. Prices were reasonable, but not all plates were a lot of food. Wild return.

Hard to find good food in Cairns. This is a good place. Mezes was nice bread warm. Except octopus everything else was good. Price is good too. Better then overrated cairns pier restaurants.

The Mediterranean taste of the food in this place that I visited twice during my stay in cairns was just amazing. The staff was also friendly and nice. Prices are normal for the food served and its quality.

Yelp
Was here on a busy night. The owner was very friendly and told us there might be a wait as two staff had not arrived. Having said that, waitress Lucy went to pains to make sure our table was well attended, she is a credit to the owner and this business. Food was generally very tasty, chicken was on the overcooked and dry side. Overall the food was ok, but the atmosphere was fantastic, dancing and plate smashing included. A little expensive, but I would go again.

Yelp
Everything about this place was great! Except the wait but I am not going to ding the place - the wait was totally worth it. Fresh food? CHECK Delicious food? CHECK Great atmosphere? CHECK The owner came by my table and gave me a free glass of wine as he saw I was dining by myself and I had been waiting a long time. A little while later he stopped by again to just chat. And then there was some party or something happening - a birthday maybe? But the owner started breaking dishes and the whole place started dancing and singing some Greek songs. The food was good enough for 5 stars, the rest speaks for itself!

Yelp
My family & I had been looking forward to dining at this restaurant for a few months, but our experience was (unfortunately) beyond disappointing. We had a booking for 7. Arrived, seated, ordered our entrees and mains, had a beer each. 30 minutes pass, our drinks are finished. We asked the waitress we ordered with how long the food would be and she gave us a non-committal grunt. So when another waitress came by, we ordered a bottle of wine. It's now 7:56pm and we still have no food! Then a waitress appears with our mains. We still haven't had our entrees. She has no idea where the entrees are and why we haven't received them, and the waitress we placed our order with is nowhere to be seen. So, we left. Waiting an hour for entrees is never okay. I have given 2 stars because the waitress who brought our mains to us (when we hadn't received our entrees) was very apologetic, and so was the hostess. Incredibly poor service from the waitress who took our order - she was unable to give us an answer when we enquired as to how long our food would be, she didn't come back with an answer, and she was nowhere to be seen when we were served our mains before our entrees. Worth noting that our entrees ordered were dips and sardines, and the restaurant was only half full. I am incredibly disappointed. What a waste of an hour.

Yelp
The lamb gyro was absolutely out of this world. I have been to dozens of Greek restaurants and never been to one that makes all their meals from scratch. The staff and owner are very friendly and the service was fairly quick.

Yelp
A spacious and nicely decorated greek restaurant run by a gregarious fellow who seems to know all the regulars. We had the saganaki ( fried greek cheese) which arrived hot in a frying pan, served with warm, crunchy fresh bread and a lemon wedge. It was salty, buttery and good. "Greek salad" came with our dinner but it was just lettuce, tomato, onion, and 3 olives, with a slice of feta cheese. ( no dressing, no cucumbers) Tried the spanakopita and the vegetarian moussaka. Moussaka was very mild but OK. The spanakopita was better, made with crunchy phyllo around a dill flavored spinach, onion, and feta filling. Three pieces were one order and it was filling. Assorted desserts were available. Space was very noisy with no carpeting on the floors and dimly lit in the back. Breaking plates was optional.

Yelp
We have been here a few times. George (the owner) is a permanent fixture and loves his homeland. Reasonably priced meals with big serves. Locals love the place. #ResearchAndTravelServices #facxual_events

Yelp
The food was fabulous. Everything Fresh. The Spanakopitta and Moussaka was to die for. The Greek wine was great and very smooth. A must if in Cairns.

Yelp
We are vegetarians here in Cairns on vacation and went to fettas for dinner on a weeknight. The service was great -- had the feel of a family run business. We got the halloumi with eggplant and tomato sauce, vegetarian moussaka and an order of French fries ("chips"). The halloumi was delicious -- the eggplant was delicious and the halloumi was soft and pan fried. The moussaka was great as well -- perfect comfort food that hit the spot after a day diving on the reef. The chips were freshly fried and perfectly crisp. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and would recommend it to vegetarians looking for a solid meal in Cairns.

Yelp
We dined here a few days ago and I have to say that we loved the place. Mixed dips with pita was really good, especially the salmon dip. Lamb gyro was really good as well and the service was timely and very friendly. Very happy with th e experience.
