FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole (Florence, Tuscany) 6 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Fiesole is a small town in the gorgeous wooded hills just above Florence, and the Villa itself is a converted private residence, an elegant, luxurious hotel, peaceful and idyllic, yet with a view of the city." - Tablet Hotels

Beautiful location in the hills above Florence. It is difficult to take a car into the city due to all of the ZTL zones. We arrived the last day of the shuttle service, which was so nice. We were taken right to the city center and our driver and van were great. The next day we took the local bus in, which was fine but not as convenient as the shuttle. The hotel staff was amazing and the property is beautifully maintained. The breakfast was quite nice as well, set out for Europeans as well as Americans. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return.

A very nice hotel in the beautiful hills overseeing Florence and close to Fiesole.|Beautiful terraces with a view and swimming pool when weather permits (until end October).|The location is great but the lack of sidewalks (or their narrowness) makes walking not pleasant which is a pity. The city buss number 7 works well though. The hotel's shuttle to the city did not seem to work in November. |Nicely decorated room. Friendly and professional staff. |Good breakfast.|(And a wonderful star restaurant!)

Only my second of 6 nights stay. Very clean rooms, small boutique style, but impeccably clean. It does have a Michelin 3 star restaurant with multiple course meals, expensive compared to outside eateries, but if you have the money, why not blow it on first rate dinner. It also has a small bar offering mixed drinks. Prices for mixed drinks 15-17 euros. Just had two mohitos and they were potent. At night from my room I can see Florence all light up. And free parking, that is very rare. Only four more nights here, certainly will book here again.

FH55 Villa Fiesole Hotel is a true gem above Florence — stylish, quiet, and with unbeatable views over the city. The location strikes the perfect balance between peace and proximity: a few minutes from Florence’s center but surrounded by nature and calm. The hotel’s atmosphere feels elegant yet relaxed, and the rooms are tastefully designed to match the Tuscan setting. Breakfast on the terrace is a highlight, especially thanks to Nicola, who elevates the entire experience. He’s exceptionally guest-oriented, multilingual, and unfailingly polite. His professionalism and warmth make every morning feel personal and refined — rare service even in top hotels. Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic hospitality, great style, and unforgettable views of Florence.

We stayed at FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole from 30 September to 4 October 2025 as a group of six adults and one seven-month-old baby. From the moment we arrived after our transfer from Rimini, we were greeted by the spectacular Francesca, who immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. She handled our check-in across three rooms with ease, ensured our baggage was delivered, and invited us to relax on the patio overlooking Florence with cocktails and snacks before we explored Fiesole for dinner. Every return to the hotel was met with a warm welcome that made us feel completely at home. Our rooms were spacious, clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. Each room came with soft robes and slippers, a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more relaxing. The housekeeping team was impressively prompt. By the time we returned from breakfast each morning, our rooms had already been serviced and refreshed. One of our rooms had a minor issue with the shower that could not be fully repaired until the final day. While we were able to work around it by using the other two rooms, Francesca kindly credited the couple in that room for one night without us even asking. That gesture spoke volumes about the care and service provided here. Breakfast each day was a treat. The staff seated us on the outdoor patio, where we enjoyed a great variety of food in a relaxed setting. The breakfast crew, front desk team, and housekeepers greeted us each morning with friendly smiles and warm conversation. This daily hospitality added a personal and welcoming feel that we truly appreciated. One afternoon we took advantage of the beautiful warm pool, set in a peaceful, scenic area that overlooks the hills and Florence beyond. The pool area felt private and serene, perfect for a quiet break during busy travel days. One evening, we ordered room service and enjoyed a relaxed dinner in our rooms, which was both convenient and delicious. A highlight of our stay was a private winery and olive producer tour arranged by Francesca. The drive in a vintage Land Rover through the beautiful countryside, combined with the scenery, wine tasting, and olive oil selections, created an unforgettable experience. Another example of the staff’s care was their help in navigating regional and national transportation strikes that occurred during our visit. Thanks to their guidance and quick assistance, we were able to keep our ambitious travel plans on track. FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole is not just a beautiful hillside retreat with incredible views of Florence. It is a place where the staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for. Francesca and her team turned what could have been an ordinary stay into a memorable and enjoyable experience. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Tuscany. Rating: 5/5 If you are looking for a stay near Florence that combines comfort, hospitality, and a sense of personal care, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Villa Fiesole Hotel is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, elegant, and perfectly located with stunning views over Florence. It’s the ideal place to unwind while staying close to the city’s culture and energy. The atmosphere is warm and refined, and every detail feels carefully looked after. A special mention for Nicola, who adds a genuine human touch to the stay. He’s attentive, kind, and easy to talk to, switching languages naturally and always noticing what guests might need. At breakfast, he creates a calm and pleasant start to the day, remembering small details that make people feel cared for. His presence changes the mood — when he’s there, the room feels lighter and guests seem more relaxed. When he’s not, you can tell something’s missing. Villa Fiesole is already exceptional, but Nicola makes it feel personal.

I believe this hotel deserves a five. The views of the city are remarkable. The service is impeccable and the rooms are clean with all the amenities one would expect. Nicholas was without a doubt, the best hotel host I have ever experienced in all my years. He and his staff constantly went out of their way to provide one on one personal service. From putting on dance music at night to greeting us in the morning with fresh food and champagne. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel above the city of Florence.

The Hotel is small and personal, with lovely caring staff. The breakfast is outstanding and gives a good variety of options. Great pastries, good cooked food and lots of lovely fruit. We ate in the restaurant (Michelin star) and it truly deserved the billing. We chose three courses which were complemented with some chefs treats. All to a very high standard and absolutely delicious. |The views across to Florence are stunning with a free shuttle into the city centre. Again the driver couldn’t do enough for you. There’s also a small pool and sun terrance. Also a local bus into Fiesole which has some nice traditional restaurants, churches and walks. Even a Roman Amphitheater. A super break can’t recommend the hotel highly enough.
