FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole

Fabulous location with far reaching city views yet far enough away to feel like you’re in the country. The rooms were tastefully decorated with everything you need including daily complimentary water. The bed was firm but with a memory foam topper and we slept like logs.|On arrival we’d missed lunch but the staff couldn’t do enough to make our arrival special, setting up a table and providing a tasty and plentiful lunch. Breakfast was delicious and varied and lunches simple and tasty. Reception staff were readily on hand to help with taxis and we fully utilised the complimentary city shuttle transport every day. Nothing was too much trouble and my special thanks go to Francesca for all her help. Fiesole once rivalled Florence as the capital of Tuscany and is a few minutes drive to visit the archeological site, Medici villa and wonderful trattorias not to mention gorp at the enormous villas in the locale that clearly show Fiesole is the most affluent suburb of Florence.|A superb week, excellent service, attentive staff, beautiful setting and swimming pool. Can’t recommend highly enough!

What an experience! Just left Villa Fiesole with my family where we stayed for a week. The resort was pristine. The food was outstanding (the Michelin star rated restaurant was truly impressive!) The housekeeping staff kept up with our needs and accommodated all of our requests. We had some trouble with air conditioning as it was some of the hottest days of the summer, and the resort was as accommodating as they could have been. My two favorite employees were Francesca at the reception desk who accommodated EVERY (and there were many) request that I asked of her. She was friendly, spoke impressive English, was a clear communicator and went out of her way on more than 1 occasion to help my family. Nicolas was my other favorite employee. He was quick, entertaining and funny, always extending his best effort to make my stay better. The amount of hustle and desire to please from him was ever-present and remarkable and I will truly be sad not to see these two people again, but who knows… maybe we’ll be back someday! Thank you Villa Fiesole for making this stay so wonderful!

What an amazing stay. This hotel is beautiful and the room that we had was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing on property either on our balcony, by the pool or on the patio of the restaurant every morning during breakfast (which was delicious!). Overall such a wonderful stay at a beautiful property and all for a reasonable price. Lastly, a shoutout to Nicola who was such an unbelievably helpful and enjoyable person to be around as he took care of my partner and I in the best way he could every time he saw us. Whether it was remembering our favorite orderevery morning or simply bringing a good energy to the hotel he truly made the experience even better than it already was.

In all of my years traveling internationally, rarely have I come across a hotel that is exquisite in every detail of the property and offers a sense of family. Such is the Hotel Villa Fiesole located in the hills of Florence. The property host a Michelin rated restaurant. Their complimentary breakfast offers a variety of dishes to satisfy the palate of tourists from all over the world. As wonderful as their food is, it is the care and concern of their staff. Since we are originally from San Francisco, we immediately had a bond with Nikola who manages their all important breakfast. Nikola treats everyone, not just us, as though they were his relatives. An amazingly caring individual, as is his colleague Joseph, who fills in wherever needed. I will return to this hotel because I want to see my distant newfound family.

We spent a few days at Villa Fiesole coming from Portugal and had a really lovely stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The whole staff was kind and helpful throughout. Nicola, in particular, stood out, he was always welcoming during breakfast and also at the bistrot in the evening. Very professional, yet easygoing, he made us feel well looked after without ever overdoing it. It’s the kind of attention that makes a place feel special. Would definitely come back.

It was the best week we could have asked for.|The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much. They looked after us in the best way possible. We had so many requests and questions and every person catered to our needs quickly and with genuine enthusiasm. |The room was clean, bright and beautiful. It felt romantic but like home. The whole hotel had a chic vibe but also totally like you knew the place all along. The views were incredible, the complimentary shuttle into Florence was so helpful. |Love!!!!

Everyone was really helpful and friendly. The location is breathtaking, you could nearly sit looking over Florence all day and never get over the view. A special shout out to the restaurant staff, their service was impeccable, every breakfast was relaxed and enjoyable but the staff are extremely attentive while being very friendly. Nicola who I think is the manager was fantastic, he makes you feel very looked after and he has a great sense of humour and made us laugh all the while providing a perfect service, it all made for a perfect stay and we look forward to staying here again. The staff is exceptional. They catered of all of our needs and were exceptionally polite and accommodating. Everyone was so kind and welcoming! 10/10 would recommend. The breakfast was plentiful. The outdoor seating was comfortable and very beautiful. It was a perfect location, not too far from Florence but quiet and serene.
