FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole

I cannot say enough about how attentive and friendly the staff was. Staying here really felt like a luxury experience. My favorite part was breakfast every morning on the beautiful terrace overlooking Florence. We had a group of five friends and Niccola memorized all our coffee orders and gave us champagne on our last morning. The pool is a lovely retreat, but just sitting on the terrace drinking wine or an Aperol spritz was fantastic. Fiesole is about a 15 minute walk away and fun to explore though you do have to walk along a busy road. We loved the restaurants in town and don't miss the Convent San Francesco at the top of the hill. Staying up here was a nice escape from busy Florence, but it's easy to get a cab or take the shuttle into town.

This place was perfect if you want to be close to Florence. It was Very peacefula d picturesque. We Had an issue with our room but staff was very attentive on every level. The view of Tuscany is beautiful. The rooms are small but clean. I would suggest renting a car if you plan on leaving the hotel. The shuttle times book up and we spent a lot of extra money in taxis. |Beautiful trip and would definitely recommend this place for the $$$|Shout out to Gianni and the rest of the staff for accommodating all of our needs.

The Hotel is small and personal, with lovely caring staff. The breakfast is outstanding and gives a good variety of options. Great pastries, good cooked food and lots of lovely fruit. We ate in the restaurant (Michelin star) and it truly deserved the billing. We chose three courses which were complemented with some chefs treats. All to a very high standard and absolutely delicious. |The views across to Florence are stunning with a free shuttle into the city centre. Again the driver couldn’t do enough for you. There’s also a small pool and sun terrance. Also a local bus into Fiesole which has some nice traditional restaurants, churches and walks. Even a Roman Amphitheater. A super break can’t recommend the hotel highly enough.

Amazing boutique hotel in the picturesque Fiesole looking down Florence. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great breakfast but most of all the terrace where food was served was amazing. I loved every minute of staying in this hotel. Easy access to Florence centre by shuttle bus offered free by the hotel. Staff were amazing. Starting from the receptionist, J, who tried to learn few words in Greek to make us feel home 😊. Nicolas and a lady at breakfast (my bad did not ask the name) were super nice, polite and friendly. I was impressed by the lady who was well prepared knowing her guests and their country of origin! Nicolas was great with taking care of my little one with her fresh juice. I am definitely going back to this property.

Fabulous location with far reaching city views yet far enough away to feel like you’re in the country. The rooms were tastefully decorated with everything you need including daily complimentary water. The bed was firm but with a memory foam topper and we slept like logs.|On arrival we’d missed lunch but the staff couldn’t do enough to make our arrival special, setting up a table and providing a tasty and plentiful lunch. Breakfast was delicious and varied and lunches simple and tasty. Reception staff were readily on hand to help with taxis and we fully utilised the complimentary city shuttle transport every day. Nothing was too much trouble and my special thanks go to Francesca for all her help. Fiesole once rivalled Florence as the capital of Tuscany and is a few minutes drive to visit the archeological site, Medici villa and wonderful trattorias not to mention gorp at the enormous villas in the locale that clearly show Fiesole is the most affluent suburb of Florence.|A superb week, excellent service, attentive staff, beautiful setting and swimming pool. Can’t recommend highly enough!

What an experience! Just left Villa Fiesole with my family where we stayed for a week. The resort was pristine. The food was outstanding (the Michelin star rated restaurant was truly impressive!) The housekeeping staff kept up with our needs and accommodated all of our requests. We had some trouble with air conditioning as it was some of the hottest days of the summer, and the resort was as accommodating as they could have been. My two favorite employees were Francesca at the reception desk who accommodated EVERY (and there were many) request that I asked of her. She was friendly, spoke impressive English, was a clear communicator and went out of her way on more than 1 occasion to help my family. Nicolas was my other favorite employee. He was quick, entertaining and funny, always extending his best effort to make my stay better. The amount of hustle and desire to please from him was ever-present and remarkable and I will truly be sad not to see these two people again, but who knows… maybe we’ll be back someday! Thank you Villa Fiesole for making this stay so wonderful!

Wow! Wow! Wow! And this is not enough to describe this place in heaven! The moment we walked in we were greeted totally different than in other hotels in Itlay. They were friendly and we got a free upgrade for our room with a private balcony and full Florence view ! We enjoyed all night on that balcony looking at beautiful sky and peaceful Florence. The room was outstanding and super clean with so much history and cultural significance. This was our best stay from all 6 hotels that we stayed at. The breakfast was delicious and with a stunning view of Florence! This is the place where we will come back over and over again. It's a winner! You will not go wrong with it!

We have (reluctantly) just left the hotel villa Fiesole. We’ve never been to a hotel where we have felt so welcome by all of the staff. From day one, we have been welcomed by friendly waves, smiles and even helping us learn Italian. The service has been second to none. We went to the Michelin star restaurant for the 9 course menu, so much amazing food, thank you to each and every one of you.|Thank you for remembering our drinks, exactly how we like them. (Yes we are the vodka, Coke Zero people ❤)||All of the staff deserve a shout out and we’re so glad we got all of your names. Ciara - fantastic service and thank you for the recommendations on medicines for my mosquito bites. Matteo - you are an amazing person and an asset to the hotel, so friendly! Chef Antonello - just wow, every thing we ate was outstanding. Daniele, Nicola, Yosef, Elisa Betta, Yetmir & Daniele, Grazie Mille for looking after us like we were your only guests, our stay has been fantastico, perfetto and we cannot wait to come back ||We also used the free shuttle to and from the city centre with ease, a huge plus point to this hotel if like us you do not want to stay in a busy area.
