Solid spot to work remote. Plenty plugins. Big enough menu to hold you over for lunch. Loyalty program for return visits.

I got a hot white mocha that tasted like cardboard and a bacon egg & cheese croissant ($3 upcharge for a croissant btw) that was tough, chewy in a deeply upsetting way, and the "croissant" was clearly the kind you get in a grocery store 12-pack. $20 for just those two deeply disappointing items. Staff was friendly, shop is cute, no hate to them! Just overpriced and bad quality food. Two stars because it was technically edible.

If you're looking for a great cafe to spend some time at, you should definitely check out this spot. The bakery items are delicious and made from scratch, and the coffee is top quality. But what really stood out to me was the atmosphere - it was just so inviting and comfortable. I spent about three hours here and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was great - friendly and attentive without being intrusive. And the blueberry green lemonade was really refreshing and hit the spot. For breakfast, I ordered the sandwich and it was fantastic - the sauce was amazing, and I could tell everything was freshly made. I also tried the new seasonal bakery items, including a scone, and they were both really good. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe. I'm definitely going to check out their other 6 locations and see if they're just as good. So if you're in the area, be sure to stop by and give it a try!

Google
Good coffee…but $13 for a Turkey sandwich looking like this?! Turkey was not layered and simply glooped together in the center, Gouda cheese was thrown to one side and a dallop of honey mustard couldn’t even have been spread throughout. It tasted disgusting. $1 ingredients bought at grocery store and thrown together. NOTHING was fresh or homemade.

Google
I passed through Mequon and decided to stop for coffee at fiddleheads. The coffee and strawberry rhubarb for that I had were both amazing and the service was both efficient and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. I plan to stop again next time I'm in the area.

The young girls taking the order act like they don’t want to be here and are very monotone.. we ordered food and coffee got the coffee right away but sat at a table and had to check if it was done. It had been sitting in a paper bag and was cold.. not good service at all.. probably not coming back

Google
Such a nice atmosphere but get there early, they dont always have all menu items. Great food and coffee drinks! Very helpful helping you decide when you aren't quite sure what you have a taste for🤣

Google
Fiddleheads is my go-to coffee shop on weekends (there nothing better than supporting a local shop)! My friend and I typically pair it with a 3 mile walk with Fiddleheads being the reward! Alicia and the team are some of the most thoughtful and welcoming teams around! There is nothing better than walking in and being greeted with a smile and them asking "The usual today?" They ask how you are and how your week is - they truly care about their guests. The seasonal menu is always a must try with fun new drinks! Trying one of the new drinks and you are not a fan? If you let them know they are always happy to make your usual as a replacement. Also - HIGHLY recommend the Turkey + Gouda Croissant sandwich!

Yelp
Been here plenty of times, and it's a great location! The staff are always so friendly, there's lots of places to sit, and it's clean as can be. I was all coffee-d out for the day when I most recently visited, but I needed to pop open my laptop and get a few things done, so I thought I would try something else on their menu. To be fair, they have tons of drinks that are without caffeine! I opted for the ginger tumeric tonic - I think that's what it's called (?) - and it was so darn good. Those are two flavors I love and the drink itself was carbonated which was perfect. I'll undoubtedly return for another.

Yelp
GF options not great. Coffee drinks were okay. Not stellar, but in a pinch. Barista was nice. Ambience was good.

Yelp
Their sandwiches seem skimpy compare to Kurt Schulz deli. Try the sometime. Let me know your opinion

Yelp
I wish I loved Fiddleheads, but o always leave somewhat unsatisfied when we go there. The espresso they use is not strong tasting and my drinks have always tasted milky and too sweet (I have learned to ask for half the sweetness and that has helped!). My second complaint is that their food is overpriced for what it is. It's basic wheat bread and deli meat and you practically end up paying for a sit down dinner with 2 sandwiches and drinks. The kids pb&j comes with no side and is $8...it is a really nice space to sit and work in, open and airy and bustling.

Yelp
Expensive but worth it. Coffee is lovely & the food is good too! My favorite is the Roasted Tomato with Pepper Jack Cheese. Their service is very well too! The baristas are nice and the manager is very welcoming. The entire setting and vibe of the cafe is perfect for anyone looking to sit down and chat. Complete some work on your computer or just a load off from the day. Wonderful coffee spot!!

Yelp
Good service and food. Plus it is a beautiful setting by the water. Delicious sandwiches and pastry,

Yelp
Came here a few weeks ago for a quick caffeine pick-me-up as I was otherwise occupied running errands 'round town (you know, prior to #saferathome). They roast (not at this location, but, locally, in Wisconsin) their own beans and have a fun, inventive specialty coffee menu. They also have a small selection of pastries and other goodies. I ended up ordering a mocha from their specialty coffee menu as well as a pbj muffin. First of all... Why didn't I ever think of combining peanut butter and jelly in a muffin?!? Because, it's good, my friends. The jelly was a little overly sweet (and I ended up taking some off), but other than that it was a peanut butter packed marvel. The mocha was solid, though, their espresso doesn't have quite as robust a flavor as I typically prefer. They were quiet when I was in and have plenty of tables. Could definitely be a good spot to work (again, after #saferathome). While their cafes are currently closed, according to their website, you can still order locally roasted beans to help support them as we all stay safe and socially distant.

Yelp
What is there not to like about this place. Service is excellent, the coffee is great and I love their sandwiches. Great spot to visit before my visit to Milwaukee Orthopedic :)

Yelp
Quaint coffee shop in the hustle and bustle around town. They were one of the few places open on a Holiday/Sunday, so gave them a try. Breakfast sandwiches were decent sized and the coffee drinks were good. Ask about the seasonal specials, you may just find something new and different. Prices were a tad high for what you get, but not astronomical. Seating inside was ample. Would return if in the area.

Yelp
This is such a cute place. The staff was great and you can order ahead and select a pick up time on their app. I got a red eye and a cranberry granola bar that was clearly made fresh. It was probably by far the best granola bar I've had yet. It was very fresh and soft.

Yelp
We just moved here from Madison recently and enjoy our coffee excursions each morning. Fiddleheads is the local favorite for my friends and family who have lived here for years. I agree I'm surprised there are no food options for those who may watch their cholesterol. Egg white alternatives with their delicious breakfast choices would be a welcome addition. Thanks for offering a relaxing atmosphere to get the day started

Yelp
Honestly another little local coffee chain. They had their own specials and that was nice. They're coffee was ok, priced a bit on the high side but they were pleasant. O Id rather go here than Starbucks. Another option is Caribou but this place has several little stores in the area , kind of quaint but I totally get it.

Joan H.

Yelp
Great local coffee spot. The staff is friendly and goes beyond to provide good service.

Yelp
Came in here while on a work trip for a quick bite before my job and ah, what a truly hidden gem. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but it's worth a stop in if you want to grab a latte and muffin, or whatever other baked good they have that day. I got a specialty latte and, while the service was a bit slower then expected, it meant the food was prepared with care and expertise. The drink was so tasty, and the flavor came through without being overwhelming. I wish I could have grabbed a bag of beans to bring home with me! 4 stars, an exceptional coffee shop in a great, accessible area. Limited seating and busy during peak hours, stop in for friendly service and a great, handmade cup of joe.

Yelp
Best coffee, with good bakery, and phenomenal turkey and Gouda breakfast sandwich! Breakfast Sandwiches

Yelp
Let's be clear... if you are in a hurry, this is not the place to go. 1. You'll be grumpy. 2. You'll make others grumpy. 3. You'll ruin the Fiddleheads ambience. If you want an extremely filling meal, this is not the place to go. Let's repeat. 1. You'll be grumpy. 2. You'll make others grumpy. 3. You'll ruin the Fiddleheads ambience. If you are looking for a cozy quiet place to eat a light lunch or have breakfast, not to mention your cup of joe of choice, then this is YOUR place. My husband and I stopped by for a light lunch during vacation. It was lovely. They have a good selection of sandwiches to choose from, but they do run out of the favorites so have a back up. They also have some great breakfast options as well. I had the veggies wrap which included eggs, potatoes, roasted red peppers and a chipotle mayo to die for. Yum yum. The hubby had their turkey sandwich which he enjoyed as well. The coffee is fresh and hot. However, I will say the espresso in my latte was quite watery. Otherwise, the drink was warm and welcoming. Parking is plentiful. The service is impeccable. They are kind, professional, and sweet. The prices are a bit high for me for the quantity of food you get, but the quality is stellar. They even have a small meeting room in the back. The bathrooms are roomy and clean.

Yelp
Incredible coffee, great service, and super easy and safe during COVID! Wish there was one closer to MKE but the drive is always worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok coffee. Food menu use to better, now it's just a lazy attempt at being like Starbucks. Customer service is terrible at all locations. Expect to wait, no sense of urgency.

Kylie L.

Yelp
there coffee and matcha... are the best things I had! its better than Starbucks and one of the best cafes I been to,that aren't fancy.it's cool in side and at my location the people are vary nice and respectful to all there customer. it's a good cafe!

Yelp
I should read the reviews before heading in. Was not impressed after having a sandwich and some coffee. Like many of the other reviews said the staff was rude and very in interested in being cordial. The coffee was no different than going to a Starbucks and tasted very dark and burnt. I ordered the prosciutto melt and that didn't impress either. Was basically two slices of bread stuck together with a slice of mozzarella cheese. The prosciutto was non existent with two shaved slices on it. Thought this would be a nice local place but I don't think I'll be back.

Nancy L.

Yelp
I've been supporting fiddleheads since they opened their 1st shop in theinsville wi. I was excited each time I learned there was a new location opening. I've introduced this coffee to more people than I can count. Unfortunately, with their growth their customers satisfaction has become less and less of their priority. They charge more for a latte than any other coffee shop that I patronize, yet have adopted the new attitude that they are doing me a favor rather than being welcoming and friendly and treating me like a customer. It's just sad because they were my favorite along with other friends and family. The mequon location happens to be the least friendly in my opinion. Customer service should be top priority In my opinion. I won't be able to support fiddleheads moving forward...
google avatar

Andy G.

Yelp
Possibly the most open concept of all the Fiddleheads, as well as the most out of the way location, this spot provides a quick good coffee stop to the freeway in either direction, north or south. Unfortunately that also makes it the busiest morning stop of all their locations and with one person serving a line of people with a variety of orders, I'd prefer going slightly out of my way for faster service. But it's hard to beat their coffee, that's for sure.

S S.

Yelp
So disappointed! What was going to be a fun stop after morning hiking with my sons was stopped short when they saw we had Uno and one other game in hand. "We don't allow game playing" Really, Fiddleheads? I was trying to order and thus give you business but you sent us on our way. Don't try to have quiet fun at Fiddleheads, it's not allowed.
google avatar

Kevin T.

Yelp
Because fiddleheads is close to my office I end up getting coffee here 3+ times per week. After 6 months of frequenting fiddleheads, there are a few things I notice. 1. The coffee and espresso is just ok. Nothing special. 2. Probably the most impersonal coffee shop I've ever been to. After 6 months, no one acknowledges that they know me, recognize me or ever says anything to me. I've tried to make conversation with the staff, who I see all the time, but get zero friendly faces back. Kinda sad. I will give Starbucks credit here, at least they smile... 3. The bakery is good. 4. I chose fiddleheads because at least I'm supporting a local business...that might be the only reason I keep coming back.

Yelp
Love this place. Used to go here daily but since we moved I always stop in when I'm around. Their food is great for a coffee shop and I am in love with their masala chai. I don't drink coffee but you can always find something here without caffeine. This place is great to meet up with friends and even have a patio outside to sit. Wish they would expand to lake country!
google avatar

Britt L.

Yelp
Great food Great ambiance great coffee. Very cool spaces indoors plys fantastic patio. I love outdoor seating. Art for sale inside was a joy to see the choices. We will def be back.

Yelp
This is my coffee shop when I'm not at my spot in Bay View. Lots of space with comfortable seating. This is a great place to have a meeting for business or pleasure. They are very supportive of local businesses and the staff is friendly and consistent with the coffee that is made. Consistency is why they are 5 out of 5 stars... That is huge with me for coffee shops... Some of the "chain" shops loose tract of consistency in training employees to make things the way they are suppose to be. But, not this place. I've had at least 5-6 different people make my drink with great precision.
google avatar

Meg K.

Yelp
I like the concept of the intimate settings throughout, however, having said this... The place was dirty and unkempt. The upholstered chairs were threadbare and the floors were quite simply, disgusting. I will not go back.

Ronnie E.

Yelp
After being to this specific branch a couple of times, I can say the following: 1. The espresso (latte) is pretty good. 2. Like some of the yelpers here pointed out, the staff is not so nice and/or polite. No "good morning" or anything like that. 3. The bakery is good but limited, no croissants of any kind or any muffins. 4. It is quite spacious and the seating is quite comfortable, nice balcony outside. 5. The Wi-Fi is very very slow... Overall, doesn't meet my own expectations for a modern coffee shop.
google avatar

Peter C.

Yelp
This is a nice compliment to all the chain coffee shops in the area. I do enjoy a good cup of joe but really liked their HUGE selection of Rishi Teas (made locally in Milwaukee). The service is slower with just one person making the food and drinks. The location and atmosphere are alright. I went there with a friend after work to play cribbage and felt like we were getting looked at weird for talking or playing a game. Overall, I would recommend this place for their tea selection and coffee. I haven't had any of their food here but their Thiensville location has great food and IMO better atmosphere.
google avatar

Katerina R.

Yelp
Id rather go to Starbucks or Alterra/Colectivo. Prices are slightly more than those two places and not that great of quality.
google avatar

Jeri P.

Yelp
The last two times we've been here I've been very disappointed. Today we ordered 3 coffees and each one was made incorrectly. Mine tasted of coconut when I ordered white chocolate.
google avatar

Emily F.

Yelp
Just go and check it out for yourself. You will love their bold. rich flavors and tasty pasteries. This is a great local spot, worth the drive!

Deka S.

Yelp
Place is filthy, staff is unfriendly, food is made off premises. My eyes burn after being there an extended period of time, there is a distinct smell of burning plastic, and they use an overbearingly strong bathroom freshener that is so bad I have to hold my breath while in there. Whenever I've had a comment about something the staff or management will look right through you. Awful place. I can barely give it one star.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and really good vegetarian sandwiches! I like the fiddlehead sandwich. It gets a little crowded at lunchtime and is sometimes hard to find a seat.
google avatar

Danae S.

Yelp
I'm a fan of the Cedarburg location so I was excited to visit this one. Service was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a bacon sandwich and it was really delicious. It was busy and a little loud when I first got in, but it's still a great little spot to hang out for a few hours and get some work done. I'll definitely be back! :)
google avatar

Chuck K.

Yelp
First time visit. More than pleased. Very nicely set up, easy parking, and friendly people. Better than Starbucks. (But I like their java a bit more.)
google avatar

Ryan E.

Yelp
Great fresh coffee. Hard to describe the difference between good coffee and fresh coffee but their fresh roasted coffee is so clean and so delicious. Bakery is awesome, particularly their Fiddlefuel Scones! I highly recommend a stop at any of their 4 locations in the Nothshore

Dylani H.

Yelp
I want to give the apricot scone here a 5. So Delish. This may be a bit too sweet for those does not have a sweet tooth. The coffee is great. Love the setting and the neighborhood feel. I came here around 10:30 on a work day ad was pleasantly surprised I had to wait to find seating. The place is pretty spacious.so I give a 4 for the coffee, space and the concept. The only reason I give a 3 is the staff is unfriendly and clean your floor please !
google avatar

Anna M.

Yelp
Absolutely adore this place. I would come here over a Starbucks any day. The environment has a nice vibe, and there is a good amount of seating areas for different purposes-- studying, catching up with a friend, etc. Love their mochas!
google avatar

JoAnn D.

Yelp
I stopped by today while driving througgmh the area. Very cute place! Great service. I got one of the autumn drinks (can't remember the name). Something chai. Delicious! This is a place that I'd try again.

Andy G.

Yelp
Coffee - The coffee is very good quality. I either get black coffee or a mocha. The regular and decaf roasts are both good. The mochas are very good. They are sweeter than some other places so not my favorite, but still very good. Food - The food here is very good. I've never had breakfast here, but hope to try it soon. The sandwiches are large and have great flavor. The soups are hit or miss, but I usually get one anyways. Food comes out fast, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Service - The barristas are always very friendly and fast. I've never waited more than 5 minutes for my drink to be done.

Mersaydez V.

Yelp
I visit frequently, at least once or twice a week. I really enjoy the staff and the cleanliness of the place! The staff usually greet me very politely and often already know what I'm going to order, which is nice. I usually stay for a couple hours at a time to do homework and often see the staff cleaning up the lobby. It's a great place to study, though it does get a tad bit noisy when it's very busy. I would definitely recommend!

Stacey W.

Yelp
Always wanted to stop and check this place out and finally did (in November of 2016). Just got around to reviewing it today. Took my hubby and an out of town visitor along with me. The coffee/lattes and prices were average, the place was unkempt/dirty, and the general atmosphere seemed a bit off. I gave it 2 stars because it was a rather dreary day, which didn't help our mood, so that could have factored in to my review. That said, I have no desire to rush back....even on a sunny day!

Nick W.

Yelp
I have loved this place since they first opened, but I miss the old un-toasted sandwiches. RIP Wild Turkey sandwich... The coffee is still good, however.

Lauren S.

Yelp
I have been frequently Fiddleheads for many years . I have tried for a week to get in touch with the upper management to express my concerns . I left message after message but no one has taken the time to respond . I am disappointed and will not visit your establishment again.

Dena G.

Yelp
Been going to this neighborhood spot for many years. It's convenient and I feel that it is so important to shop and buy local. Very disappointed for a long time now and probably will never return. The help is often rude and refuses to listen to constructive suggestions by the customer. The food has deteriorate over the years. All is pre-made and changes can't be made. Not a good thing in an age where there are so many people with eating "restrictions". The restaurant is dirty and smells like burnt plastic. I live very close and hate to complain about a local place, but felt this is the only way to express how turned off my friends and I are about Fiddleheads.
