Camped here for 2 nights mid October 25. This peaceful campsite is located in Edale with 2 great pubs offering food only a 3-4 minute walk away. The train station is a similar amount of time away. The campsite is basic but very well maintained with a washing up area, toilets and token operated showers all available. There is also car parking available, that is situated away from the tent pitches. The pricing is very reasonable and I will definitely be back next year for another hill walking adventure in the beautiful Peak District.

The location in the centre of the village is perfect for access to pubs, shop, walks, etc. The staff were really friendly while showing us around the 5 available fields and we were able to ask them for anything if needed. The facilities were perfect: showers, toilets, drinking water, fridge/freezer for any food or drinks. There were a range of different locations to pitch our tent from sheltered under a tree to in the sunlight for the day. Overall a brilliant trip. Would definitely recommend.

The Perfect Campsite! Nestled in a beautiful part of The Hope Valley, only 5 minutes from the well connected train station and surrounded with amazing walks. It has great flat camping fields in a lovely wooded area with a stream running right by, you can catch the evening sun colours while having some shade in the mornings. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and attentive, they went above and beyond to make sure we we're all sorted, and the facilities were perfect! A washing up room, drying room, as well as super clean toilets and showers with strong water pressure and a simple working system. All in all a 10/10 campsite.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay here and it was so nice.|Clean and tidy site. Toilet block and washing up facilities were immaculate on our arrival and very modern. Particularly enjoyed the scenic views and the tranquility of this site.|Shop, pubs and cafes are all within a few minutes walk. We did a couple of walks , one which led to a beautiful waterfall and we had a bit of a dip in the clean ice cold stream!|Loved every minute , would visit again

Lovely quiet campsite, well located. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained facilities. Convenient for Edale and many of the walks in the area. Good value too. Pitches are well maintained and not crowded. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Fieldhead. There are 5 fields to choose from, including 2 that are quieter which we opted for. Lovely hearing the nearby stream and the wind rustling the trees. It had all we needed! A few benches to sit at for food, toilets with sinks and showers, a room for washing up food equipment which came with washing up liquid and sponges, and a bothy room with a fridge/freezer with plenty of space for our stuff. Just outside there were two taps for fresh drinking water too. The wheelbarrows were a really nice touch for wheeling your stuff from your car to your chosen pitch. Really loved ambling down the road to the Newfold farm cafe and Old Nags Head pub for when we couldn’t be bothered to cook! Excellent place will be coming back for sure.

Lovely campsite with really well looked after facilities. The views are beautiful and the sight well maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful and were on site all day. Lots of options for camping pitches. We camped down the hill in the more shaded area by the stream but the view from the pitches behind the facilities block would’ve also been a great place to pitch up. The sight is nice and quiet, mostly campers who are hiking I think, but we took a three man tent and camped for three nights. Really easy access to train station and two pubs, local shop and cafe within walking distance. Not a downside for us, but note to anyone who needs to know, we couldn’t get a phone signal during our stay but both nearby pubs provide WiFi.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a pitch by the river with my family. The facilities were always immaculate, plenty of room for washing up and multiple toilets so we never had to wait. There is a small fee of 20p for the showers (for 2 minutes) but with the pressure and heat from them we think it's worth it. There's also a fridge/freezer (and a pen with stickers to label your food/cool blocks). With it being a quiet campsite we had a perfect nights sleep each night with just the sound of the river near our pitch. ||The shop in Edale is a short walk from the campsite and has everything you need (or forgot). From Edale there are multiple footpaths so the campsite location was perfect for our needs. Some of us backpacked and the station is just a few minutes away while the rest of us took a car which was easy to get to. ||It was one of the best campsites we'd been to and would love to visit again some time! Thank you
