This is a nice campsite, in a great location: you can walk to it from Edale train station, from it to the (good) pubs, up the surrounding hills etc. The camping space is nice, with partial tree shade, and the bottom fields by a river/stream. The toilets and showers worked and were in good condition. The showers need 20p coins or a token bought from reception. 10p/min. No problems of any kind. Nice and quiet. There is no parking, but they make that clear, and they happily let me park up to unload gear, before I went on to the main Edale car park a few mins' walk down the road (paid just under £8 for 24hrs). Would go again.

Very good campsite. Lots of space, one of the areas is even next to a flowing river so that gives a nice vibe. Comes with a washing up room, showers, and an outside tap for drinking. They also sell a couple of general items in the office such as towel rental, gas canister and other amenities such as pillows, but I didn’t buy anything so I can’t comment on the prices, I’m sure they are reasonable. Short walk down from the train station and a pair of pubs, general store among others. The site is a very good base camp for those looking to do the nearby peaks.

Lovely campsite. It is a lovely simple site with good pitches with clean facilities. It is in a great location and the hosts were really welcoming and helpful during our stay. Would definitely recommend.||Local facilities include a couple of pubs within easy walking distance and also a few cafes and a local village store.

Great campsite in the centre of Edale. Multiple fields to pitch in to allow a nice choice of surroundings. Despite being in the centre quiet overnight. Only the sound of birds and the stream I chose to be next to. |Facilities nice and clean. |Hot water which was lovely. |Great options for extended canard to allow a walk after packing up (thank you) or late check out so the tents could dry! |Will definitely be coming again. |Thank you.

I really recommend this campsite. I came up with my son for the weekend and we had a brilliant time. The positives are: the views, especially from the fields near the car park, another field is just above a river; lots of space allowed for each tent; no cars on pitches which is safer and much more pleasant; nice facilities which the staff keep an eye on; close to public transport (we came from London by train and it all went smoothly); location in a beautiful village where many accessable walks are possible. There is another campsite up the road which looks fine but far more overcrowded. If you want a peaceful camp in the countryside this is perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful too. We will be back. Extra info: there were no laundry facilities but it looked like they might be about to install a washing machine and dryer, email to check. There is a shared fridge with stickers to label your food. There are no charging points, but you can rent a power bank (I brought my own). Showers are 20p for 2 mins, so bring coins.
