Not easy to get in - I hadn't understood the hotel is part of n office & entertainment complex, but once I reached reception all was well and the very helpful staff gave me good instructions to find the car park. Room was large, well furnished, stylish in a vey modern way and comfortable with an excellent bed & bedding. |Blackout was good as was the shower (though the hot water wasn't much more than warm on the second morning). Wi-fi was fast and reliable, everything one needs... One thing to note for those who are bothered (I'm not): the hotel description says there is a minibar; there isn't - it's just an empty fridge. |As noted by other reviewers, breakfast is quite dear, but there's a reasonable selection of decent quality food & drink.

The Simple Context

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. All the people there are kind. The waiter in the delivery room, the hostess, and the maintenance guys were terrific. The room was spotless and full of good amenities. If you are going to travel to Monterrey, you need to stay here.

Room was very clean and updated. Front desk service was excellent. The pool and gym areas are small but functional and well kept. Nice to have Starbucks in the lobby. And the restaurant on the 16th floor was good for a nice breakfast.

Excellent service and I always feel safe here. Police presence is very strong here. The staff usually have someone nearby that can speak English to assist you fast and easily.

The dirtiest hotel I've been in MTY so far. Besides my bedroom door, I had a slice of pepperoni and a limon and it stayed there for the 3 nights that I was in the hotel. The carpet is really dirt inside and outside the room.

Upcharge for club level rooms without having a club! Manage was quick to remedy the misunderstanding, so bumping this to 4 stars. I tried to check in here after 4 nights at the Intercontinental. The difference in service is night and day (it's worse here). None of the staff here know about the existence of the fiesta club. I feel like the essence of hospitality is lost on management. I booked a king bed with fiesta club access. The official check in time is 3pm. I arrived at 2:30pm and was told only 2 twin rooms are available. I asked if I can wait in the lounge, and the front desk sent me to the restaurant on the 16th floor. I also had to carry my luggage and umbrella, no offer to store the luggage while I wait. The staff at the business center on the top floor and the restaurant on the 16th tried to help, but they were puzzled by my search for a lounge/club/VIP room that has free food and Wi-Fi. They don't know anything like that on site. I do speak a little Spanish by the way. When I got my room keys, the other front desk associate confirmed the non-existence of the Fiesta Club. So what did I pay for with the up charge for the Fiesta Club room?!

I stayed here for 13 days. The prices were a little higher then what I expected, but then again it was holiday season & high occupancy. Good & Safe location. The rooms were Nice & Clean w a comfy bed . What stood out the most was the Excellent team they have here. Leslee, Janet, Natalie Jaqueline at front desk always greeted the guest w a warm smile and very helpful. Arturo & Raul at bell desk delivered outstanding customer service. Martha & Julio Dry Cleaning service were also Amazing. Kudos to the team.
