Fiesta Mart #3

I haven't been to a Fiesta Mart in years. All Fiesta Marts in my area have closed. Those stores were not very nice and over priced. Was very surprised how nice this store was and extremely impressed with the produce department, high quality fruits and vegetables at a reasonable prices. The meat and seafood department was amazing. Just stopped in for a couple item and left with a lot more. Staff were very friendly and made shopping there even more enjoyable.

On the weekends they do fresh grilled fajita and sausage. It is worth the price and the fajita is so good it is even great cold. I know where I will be getting my fajita from now on. If you are in the mood for some amazing fajitas go here.

I always enjoy shopping at Fiesta! They have a great selection, fair prices, friendly staff, and I can find everything I need.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at your location. I drove from HEB at Gulfgate after a terrible shopping experience. I was greeted upon entry, the staff warm and friendly. The entire store was clean and organized. I found the international products that were out at the other store and plenty in stock! The extra 10 minute drive was worth it. The day of the dead bread was fluffy and amazing, my family loved it. Thank you for making my day better!

This is hands down the best grocery store in the neighborhood. The produce section is what keeps me coming back—everything is always fresh and vibrant, and they have an amazing selection of seasonal, local fruits and vegetables that you can't find anywhere else. The staff here are really friendly. I had a cashier last week named Elizabeth, she attended me so well and greeted me with a smile. She even asked me how my day was going. This was by far the best experience I've had in Fiesta Mart.

I was insulted by a register Hispanic lady at Fiesta #3. I was speaking to floor manager, MAYRA with FIESTA #3, about an item that register clerk, ALBERTA, with FIESTA #4 forgot to put in my grocery bag. Register clerk with FIESTA #3, who did not have her name badge, intervened my conversation with Mayra, and called me a liar. WHY would I lie about a $0.69 bar of soap. It's a soap that sold for $.069 cents. I have my receipt and I was denied the request. I had a similar experience with Walmart and I have never been treated so disrespectful. Fiesta is not the same that made it successful.

My last trip to Fiesta/Wayside a little disappointed. I don’t understand why they have to have the fast tempo music so loud, it’s somewhat distracting when looking for items and checking prices. The store was a little warm. I usually shop around but this time I couldn’t wait to get out, thank goodness for the nice cashier.

Fiesta gets 5 stars because they carry the ethnic items other stores don't. Some items are only available there, specially for the latin demographic. Also the hot foods counter is delicious and always fresh.

If you're looking for the best grocery meat section, this Fiesta has it ! Parking: There's a huge parking lot in front of the store, so there's plenty space. The condition of the lot is a bit worn out though. Also, the street in front is currently under construction so accessing the lot is a bit of a headache Groceries: They have a lot of Mexican snacks, packaged goods, brands. So if you're looking for the same things you get at HEB then you definitely don't want to come here ! That being said, they have a huge selection and it's definitely worth browsing. They also have other goods like clothing and housewares. The fruit and meat sections are the best though! All the meat looks amazing and the selection is extensive ! Same with the fruit - it's not as big of a selection like HEB may have but everything is generally fresher which I really appreciate ! Service: All the workers seem to be bilingual so if someone wants to work on their Spanish (or maybe only speak spanish) then this is the store for them! On a different note, the cashiers always seem pretty over it and not in a good mood. No big deal though. It's worth noting that if you come here for ice it is located inside the shopping area and you need to get your bags *before* you check out !

Geesh, Who would have ever knew this place would have everything!? Bad habits or not, FYI the soda is always on sell here! My grandmother loves this place! Customer service: Very patient and friendly cashiers. Clean? Yes, very. Very clean, things are always stocked, and lots of shopping carts are always available. Side note: Out of all the Mexican candy/ snacks in the world, I don't see the Twang brand- pickle or beer salt here. Lol Bummer.

This is a supermarket located in a shopping strip mall. Made a quick stop in for lunch while waiting for clothes at nearby laundromat. They make fresh food to eat daily for lunch. I waited in a line that went through quickly. When I reached where the food prep was, no one spoke English. That didn't stop me from ordering their homemade Spanish rice. Reasonably priced.

I needed some baking soda and was too lazy to go to HEB so I thought I gave them a go. First, don't cone here on an empty stomach... more junk food than 10 Trader Joe's combined. They come in so many varieties too. There's a deli that seems to be very popular with Hispanic ppl. There's also ppl grilling chicken outside. The produce section is surprisingly well-organized and many items here are priced well. Organic/non gmo isn't really a concept here. But if you peruse the isles, every now and then you'll find gluten fre, non gmo, organic items. So many types of spices too. And snacks. Did I say they have lots of snacks???? There's a sauce station with a dozen types of salsa and what have you. I need a guide. I'm curious and don't know where to start. Verdict: chaotic good

Used to love this neighborhood store but it has gone completely downhill over the past few months. It can take forever to get checked out. They run out of items and then do not re-stock, sometimes, for months, things as simple as beef broth, swiss cheese, and granola. The shopping carts and baskets are dirty, they do not offer you the option of paper bags, like they used to and it's not as anglo friendly anymore. From what I understand Fiesta Mart was bought out by a Mexican company earlier this year and you can tell. Their selection of American food is shrinking (that includes Italian food, Polish food, German food, Cajun Food, Chinese food, etc.) Not a local business anymore. It's a shame because Fiesta was once one of the best grocery chains in Houston.

It's just around the block from my home and I get all my groceries there. They recently remodeled it and since then it's been better than ever. Great products and great prices.

Jorge to the rescue! I saw all the negative reviews, and thought ,WTF?! [What the freak ;)] Then I did see that the reviews are pretty damn old. I work near this Fiesta, and seriously have 0 complaints. Well, I guess I may have ONE, nothing I can really say is their fault per say, but the parking is usually full, but I guess that could mean they have good pricing/products. I used to go get breakfast tacos ALL the time at the little cafe they have, and they do have good lunch food too but I try not to go since I know it would make me balloon up REAL QUICK. They have a liquor store attached to it that I used to frequent so much that the ladies knew me and knew what I'd get without me even asking for it, and they were always pleasant to me and to any customers I saw them speak to. I've never had a problem with checking out, unless there was a customer who was nitpicking about some small stuff. Oh yeah, they recently renovated the store and made some big changes to it, and I believe it is under new management too. Lastly, the bakery here is AWESOME!!!

Unfortunately, this is the closest store near my job that I can check the sales on before going to the store. There is a Seller's Brothers grocery close by too, but I don't think they advertise their prices, so Fiesta gets my business by default. Granted, I am a Fiesta fan, but not of this location because of the location. Headed South on Wayside, the lanes narrow and decrease. Accident waiting to happen. Secondly, it SMELLS--well this area usually smells horrific anyway, but the smell definitely helped me expedite my shopping on limited time. The most important concern of all, GETTING OVERCHARGED! I had checked the ads for ice cream and soda to do a float party at work. Since Fiesta was offering more name brand variety of sodas on sale, I decided to get everything on one place. In a rush, I picked up 4 containers of ice cream. I did not notice in the sales paper nor on the sales tag that the ice cream priced at 3.99 had a limit of 2. I noticed the price was high and was hit with the late notice of the limit 2 price. Since I was on a budget, I asked to cashier to remove the other two containers. Again, limited on time, I did not want to go back to the freezer section and get back in line. The cashier was nice enough to take my suggestion of making a seperate purchase for the other two gallons at sale price, but I failed to notice that she rang me up for 5 gallons when I only purchased 4 and took off only 2 gallons at regular price! If I hadn't been in a rush I would have checked my receipt like I usually do and gotten that straight before I left the store. Now I have to go back and see if I can get my money back. Lesson learned: Haste makes waste!

You can bring an expired item and act like it's nothing new to them (act surprised). The item will be put back on the shelve!

Situated across from the Gus Wortham municipal golf course, this Fiesta grocery store hulks a good distance back from busy South Wayside. On a hot summer Saturday, I had a craving for some lovely items from a panaderia. Ended up with a magdalena and a cabeza de pina (both for 89 cents total). Both items were way too dry. What spoiled my trip here were a variety of factors: * Parking is quite the clusterf*ck of cars skewed at all angles despite the painted lines. * Many of the cars were occupied and the doors splayed open into adjoining empty spaces - further compounding a safe landing into an open space. * The in-store cafe was jammed to the gills of people copping a squat in every seat of every table with hardly any purchased items. I'd label this as "loitering". * Fiesta Marts can be - oh, what's the word? - tatty. But, this one felt tattier than normal. Definitely more than the Kirby store near me. * The checkout was slow despite lots of open lanes - had the added torment of a mother and her 3 small children in front of me buying a tub of ice cream and a box of cones. The mom was on a cell phone chat during the process and only interrupted her chat to loudly berate, then make cry, one of the children. The irony was she was wearing a t-shirt that said: "Be Nice" on the front. She shouldn't wear that shirt if she's not going to live up to its mantra. At least, she should have worn the "Be a Hypocrite" one. * Had to correct the cashier on the price of the purchase. Oh, wait: The true full price to my psyche has yet to be determined but I had to correct the cashier on the cash cost. All in all, this stop was a flop. Not as big a flop as the Soviets invading Afghanistan or as big a flop as New Coke but still a flop. If you're in the neighborhood, keep on driving. And, "Be Nice" or I'll have to repo that shirt from you.
