Will return. A charming restaurant, with bold paintings and cute items. 1. The red wine is served in a Porto glass 2. They like to jam dinners Our group of 17, is seated by the door on a Monday, in two tables. By the time we left at 7:30pm, it’s still very empty. Food is pretty delicious. My beef is tender but I did add salt (I love salt) and the bean is flavorful. The churros - I just had a wonderful churros in Salt Lake City yesterday - light, alive and fluffy , so I think I’m fairly fresh in judging - this one is not even close, dead.

Stopped in for lunch. That was the best salad I have had in a long time. The homemade jalapeno ranch dressing was delicious and the salad was packed with protein. Fresh grilled shrimp and chicken. Both very tasty. My husband had the combo platter and he loved it.

The service was fine. Decor was fun. Food was nothing special. There are lots of rules on the menu. 1 chip and salsa if complementary-refills cost extra. 1 refill on soda- more cost extra, some drinks cost more and have no refills. Prices seem higher, but there was a good amount of food. Disappointment because I was not very hungry and couldn't find a single enchilada except in the kids' menu, which I couldn't order since I'm not 12 and under. So I ordered appetizer nachos, were soggy, quesadilla was kinda burnt, and couldn't finish the food and had no way to store it for later, waste of$.

The restaurant is clean, very bright and colorful. They had music playing low in the background. The staff was friendly and the food was good.

Google
Excellent Mexican food, super fast, good service. The tortilla chips were just fried for us. My wife was in love with the chicken quesadillas. Myself being a meat eater, loved the beef fajitas.

We came here as a group of four, without a reservation, for dinner, and were seated right away which we really appreciated. I ordered a seafood platter (I think it was the fajita mixta), and it was absolutely delicious—and huge! I ended up sharing it with a friend, and we both really enjoyed it. Everyone at the table seemed happy with their meals, and I believe all my friends loved their food as well. We asked for split bills, which they were willing to do, though there was some back and forth about upcharge for a larger party. Our server was accommodating in the end, but overall, the service felt a little inattentive at times. We had to ask for things more than once—like a glass for my beer—which took away a bit from the experience. That said, the food made up for it, and we still had a good time. I’d return, especially for the seafood.

Google
The service was great and the prices were reasonable. The food however left something to be desired. We were really hungry after exploring the area all day and mexican food sounded good. I got a chicken taco salad and my husband got enchiladas. The enchiladas really needed more sauce on them but were ok. The taco salad was soggy and contained a lot of liquid. It literally started falling apart. I've eaten a lot of taco salads over the years but nothing like this. We both agreed we would not recommend this restaurant or eat there again.

Google
Overpriced food. Mediocre service. The same drink I had at a better place the day before was double the price at this joint! My family and I wouldn’t come back, nor recommend it. Should have gone back to the Moab Grill where we ate the day before! I order the queso fundido. But it was meat with cheese on top. The fajita was 30.00 and not that good

Yelp
Wandered in on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty quiet. Service was prompt. Food was great. In fact, the hubby is a miller lite fan and there must be some sort of a distributor problem as no other restaurant in town had it. But they did there was a little noise coming from the back corner. Sounded like construction. I love progress so it didn't bother me. My only complaint was that while the margarita was good I knew it wasn't made with the infamous margarita machine that always makes them perfect. But I'm not picking now. Really it was great

Yelp
Below average food 3star and atmosphere ruined with horrible bright white LED recessed lights & ceiling fan bulbs. I've been here in 2018 & 2011 and enjoyed it, so we stopped here again in 2025 for dinner. The moment I walked in, it was WHOA, BRIGHT. Intense LED lights overhead & all around. Gave me a headache . Service was good but food was just okay and pricey (seems all restaurants are ridiculously high now). Those lights also illuminate the ugly ceiling & show age. Atmosphere is half the criteria when we choose a restaurant and this was a mistake. I was looking for that warm cozy place I'd been to before but instead got a Subway experience.. but at $90 for two. The guacamole was good the rest was okay, but not "good".

Curtis R.

Yelp
Well decorated restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine. 5 in this party and arrived for the opening of lunch. Ordered a Fajita dish and when another parties dish arrived it looked so good I ordered the same, picture attached. Overall the fish was good although some of the dish was overcooked... all in all it was a good experience and would go back!

Lisa M.

Yelp
What a gem, this was our first stop in Moab. Great way to arrive in town. Fantastic food, atmosphere very friendly staff... and wonderful margaritas!

Eddie S.

Yelp
Food was good but very ordinary chain restaurant. Service is very good and chips and hot sauce are good and kept full. The restaurant was clean and nice. If I'm back in Moab I would eat here again.

Linda S.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Service was spectacular! And the ambience was amazing Mexican restaurant! We really loved it and we would really recommend it

Stephanie K.

Yelp
We came in for an early dinner. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server came right over and got our drink orders. There were five of us and we all ordered margaritas. I had a frozen pomegranate margarita. It was good but I would probably try a strawberry margarita next time. The drinks were not super strong. They also serve you initial chips and salsa with no cost but if you want more it is an additional cost. The salsa is homemade and has a bit of spice to it. Our meals came out quickly. I had the pollo la crema. The portion sizes are large. I took almost half home with me. The chicken was tender and the cream sauce was really good. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Service was great. Food was great. The ambiance is fun. Love all the bright colors. We would definitely come back.

Nanette P.

Yelp
We came here for dinner, just a short walk from our hotel. Right away the building welcomed us with a Coca Cola sign. We feel Mexican food paired with a ice cold Diet Coke is a must! My husband ordered the Chili Relleno combo platter and I had the Carne Asada platter. My steak had an excellent taste and my husband enjoyed his meal. If you like fresh salsa then this is the place. We really enjoyed it! The two servers did an excellent job. The food came fast and they never let our drinks get low! Keep up the good work!!!!

Connolyn B.

Yelp
We choose Mexican food often, and we were definitely not disappointed here. I could definitely taste the freshness of the ingredients and on top of that the service and ambience were superb.

Harold M.

Yelp
Stopped after a long drive to Moab, attentive service, good solid food. Staff was friendly, clean place.

Neill G.

Yelp
JUST. DON'T. I was up all night on whatever the hell entree' I had that my waiter assured me was "a great choice." Probably what he says to every patron. For the record, I had one (too sour) margarita, and my stomach was so bad by the end of the meal that I only took two sips of the second one. Tums all night.

Carrie F.

Yelp
I rate a Mexican restaurant by the salsa and the margaritas, then the food and the service. This place did not disappoint at all! Best margaritas and salsa I've had in a long time. I'd recommend the Jalepeno Margarita. For a close second, try the mango margarita. The seafood chimichanga had shrimp, scallops, and octopus. All cooked to prefection ( NOT OVERCOOKED)! I don't want to repeat myself, but "the best I've had". The burrito was stuffed full and delicious! I would definitely come back!

Andrew T.

Yelp
So service was prompt and nice but placed a Togo order and got a charged a 15% Togo fee as to the food my carne Asada was over cooked and the rice was less than let's say. My wife couldn't stop complaining about the chili relleno her favorite dish. I expected to pay more in a vacation town but over $80 for a soggy appetizer and two entrees that sucked.

Jonathan W.

Yelp
Average bland, overpriced Mexican food. This place isn't that good. I ordered the carne asana burrito. Charged $20 for it. The burrito had zero flavor! Also ordered the guacamole, and it needed more salt. I was up sold on my receipt for even a take out order. 15% automatically added. Not impressed by this. You'll be tempted! Highly recommend not coming here! Definitely a tourist trap.

Maryanne M.

Yelp
The food & service were both great and tasted pretty authentic. A girl friend and I were visiting the area and decided to stop by for dinner after a hike. The ambiance had the Mexican feels for sure. The waiter was very attentive to our needs and quick. I ordered the carne asada plate with a michilada on the side. Neither disappointed. The chips and salsa were both to my liking and also fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant if you live in the area or passing through.

Lindsey A.

Yelp
We love this place! The food and customer service are outstanding. The portions are HUGE so come hungry. We always come here when we are in town.

Stephen B.

Yelp
I compared a few if the Mexican places in Moab and ultimately decided to try Fiesta based on local recommendations. The chips came out hot and crispy. Generous portion of guacamole. I got the mexicana burrito with choice of steak. Hand down the best smothered burrito ive ever had. Quality chunks of steak were pouring out of the burrito once I cut into it.

Elsie M.

Yelp
This was our first time there, and a friend decided due to it was Sunday. We are from Colorado and we all came over the weekend for the eclipse. Never been to Moob until that weekend. First off, it seemed to be like any other Mexican Restaurant from the outside. When we gone in, definitely pops out with their decor. We were promptly seated and handed menus to us. The prices was great, compared to the inflation and this place is in a tourist spot for off-roaders (we all went off-road, and this was my first time doing this). Our server ask for our drink orders and gave us chips and salsa. Right away, definitely can tell chips we made in house and the salsa was amazing. Much better than a local one that we go to in Commerce City. Once we got our order, I knew I won't be able to eat it at one setting. I had the chimichanga, and boy, if they are able to deliver to Denver, I would be in heaven. I had the chicken one and it was definitely hot, as in temperature. I heard no complaints from the other party members nor the kids. But I definitely had road-trip food to travel back to Denver. I personally can't wait to come back out here again.

Yelp
Stopped by Fiesta Mexicana on the way out of Moab one evening based on a friend's recommendation and... it was absolutely worth it. The decor inside and outside the restaurant is really vibrant and really adds to the experience -- it's a nice change of pace from a lot of modern minimalist restaurants! You'll often find folks inside taking photos with statues inside and the staff will likely offer you sombreros to wear while taking them! The menu is pretty expansive and you'll find all the traditional items you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. I personally got the Enchiladas de la Fiesta and they were great, and I heard similar feedback from the folks in my group. The prices are higher than some restaurants, but Fiesta Mexicana makes up for it with MASSIVE portions -- unless you're really hungry, you can easily get two meals out of a dinner entree here. The most notable aspect of Fiesta Mexicana is the staff. Our server was Ramon, and he continually made the experience fantastic by joking along with us and just injecting comedy into various aspects of the interactions. He and the team also did a great job with an impromptu Birthday song for my friend who was celebrating a birthday that day! As long as you're there to enjoy the experience, you'll have a great time at Fiesta Mexicana. Hands down I have no reservations in recommending that you check them out!

Dave A.

Yelp
Small servings, high prices, and bland.... I was joking as I was eating - did they count the rice as they plated it? lol The beans were put on the plate and then smeared to a paper thin serving size. The Chicken Chimi came with no sauce and was not fried crispy.... I asked for some sour cream. They brought it and when the bill came I found out they charged me $2.99 for it. lol This place is a joke. They are obviously targeting the 1 time vacation person. Jokes on them - I'm here all the time - I will not be eating here again.

Yelp
Mexican place downtown Moab. First , I want to mention the decor- it is amazing 5 star. Lots of painting and nic nacs. The furniture festive and colorful- some carved. We were seated immediately- service is great here they have a very efficent system of waiters and bus people. The menu has many item and is very easy to read with pictures. Sometimes they have a nightly special so ask if you do not see it. Tbe margaritas are big and delicious!! Beers are cold ,but Overpriced. (IMO). Once seated they bring out chips and salsa- the salsa is quite hot but very good. We had enchilada and taco combos. It arrived quickly and very hot. They lay the tacos on top of the enchilada which is not a good thing- one side if the taco is soft and falling apart. However they were packed full and good they were a bit messy because the shell was falling apart. The enchiladas were perfect. The meat is not overly spicy but add a little salsa on top if you like it spicer like me. Overall everything was yummy, service great and decor festive (awesome).

Laura M.

Yelp
Great food and great service! We had a large group, and they handled multiple checks with no issue. The mole was very, very good! I have never had mole on an enchilada, but I cannot wait to have it again! The service was impeccable. I would go back again for sure!

Rachele P.

Yelp
Unfortunately we did not enjoy this restaurant. Did a take out order for four adults. A 15 percent surcharge was added to bill. Food was mediocre, Ordered a tostado salad but had no tostados, found an avacado sticker in food. Called the restaurant and they said they will give us a "discount" next time we come in. We will not be returning to this restaurant, not worth it, nor we will recommend to others.

Dale Z.

Yelp
Delicious and hot (not spicy). Fast service and friendly help. I had a ground beef burrito.

J. S.

Yelp
Wow We accidentally walked into this place (Next door to the only liquor store in town!) Wanted food to go. No problem We eat a lot of Mexican foods (including IN Mexico) Great food great prices, large quantities!! Only a few days in Moab and we're going back here at least one more time!! I'm hoping the margarita doesn't disappoint!!! Give it a try!!!

Sam G.

Yelp
Good food, but watch the bill! The waiter was fine and the food was good. The bill seemed high and after we paid, we noticed that the waiter added 18% to the bill because our party was more than 4 people! The only problem was we were a party of 2 people! We asked for our 18% back and that became a drama filled episode. CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING!

Andrea B.

Yelp
We popped in for a quick lunch before shopping and are leaving super happy. Mole enchiladas were amazing!!!! My husband also really enjoyed the enchiladas suiza (sp?) with the green chili sauce & sour cream. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some good Mexican food.

Bobbi P.

Yelp
I was so happy to find a great Mexican restaurant in Moab. Growing up in California where fantastic Mexican food abounds, I'm picky about it tasting authentic. This place has some delicious dishes and the decor is on point.

Doug B.

Yelp
Good Mexican food. Fairly traditional fare. Service was really good. I had the pollo a la crema. My wife had the chimichanga and my kids had burritos. Good sized portions. Festive decor. Good for families.

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Excellent margarita (I had the frozen house), chips and salsa were fine (we got a refill on chips), my enchiladas were great. Great service and vibe - we sat in the porch area.

Kiersten M.

Yelp
Amazing service, atmosphere, and food. Easily sat all eight of my family. Very accommodating of 3 babies.

Marie B.

Yelp
We stopped here for dinner after reading several reviews. The decor is in a cute Mexican decor. The restaurant is very clean. They were wiping down the tables and seats with a bleach spray after the patrons left. What someone called a humidifier is actually an air filter. I was impressed. We were greeted right away and they took our drink ordered immediately. Brought us a bowl of chips and salsa. We ordered a chicken fajita and split it. There was more then enough food for both of us. It came out in no time. Hot plates. Came and checked on us a few times. I would return when in the area.

Bee W.

Yelp
Wanted a snack as it was a late lunch and we didn't want to spoil dinner. Parking available and it didn't look busy so we headed inside. It's decor is colorful and loud. There are even life size figures you can take photos with. They were running a humidifier which was nice. We went with chicken taquitos and a chile relleno. They brought chips and salsa. How was it? Average. Server was friendly enough. But they didn't bring us silverware. The table next to us had to ask for silverware as well. He said his chicken taquitos were good. They are deep fried flour tortillas with chicken and cheese. Topped with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole. I tried some. It was ok. The chicken had no flavor to it. My Chile relleno was the stuffed Chile topped with cheese and sauce. It was lackluster. They had signage for best margaritas - perhaps I should have tried that. As far as food goes nothing special. But their restrooms were clean so that was a plus in my book. I can't recommend because I got sick after eating here. Mild food poisoning.

Amit O.

Yelp
We stopped by here quick on our way to longer journey. Without looking up the reviews or anything we just decided to turn in and it was one of the best, quick lunches ever. The place is super clean, service was quick. We got fajitas and the chicken was really good. Will definitely recommend. Bathrooms were clean too.

Tim K.

Yelp
Great service and really good food. We had the deluxe nachos and two different combination dinners. There was food for an extra meal to take home!

Laura L.

Yelp
Wow wow wow wow wow fabulous place. Food was yummy. Service was impeccable and the ambience. It made me feel like I was in Mexico loved it loved it loved it. I was visiting from California and I must say everybody must do them selves a favor and eat there. I loved it when I went to the restroom I could still hear that mariachi music in my stall. You guys are doing things the right way. Thank you so much for making enjoyable meal and a very memorable afternoon.

Bobmc42 ..

Yelp
My wife and I were on the last day of a two vacation in the west and we were exhausted and just wanted a good simple meal. (Just as an aside I am a retired chef from some of the top hotels and restaurants in NYC.) Well, this was not it. The food was bland and unappealing. I had low expectations going in but they managed to sink below it. And on top of the lousy food, they overcharged me. There was a $8 fee on the bill which when I questioned, they gave some lame explanation for. I was much too tired to argue and took the food hoping it would be at least decent which it was not. There are several other Mexican restaurants in Moab, do yourself a favor and go to one of them.

Dakota Darling W.

Yelp
The. Best. Mexican. Food. My. Family. Has. Had. In. AGES!! Amazing service and amazing food. We all CLEANED our plates! I will warn that the chips and salsa that comes to the table is on the spicy side but it's so good you won't care, lol (See captioned photos for what my family and I ordered) As far as Covid protocols went, patio seating was available but it wasn't that crowded when we went around 2pm. We were seated by the door leading to the patio which was left open so we had good air exchange while we were eating.

Hannah S.

Yelp
Food & service are both poor. Much better places to eat in Moab; don't waste your money.

Erin H.

Yelp
Place was recommended by hotel front desk portions are large and the drinks are good. I'm a plant based eater and requested a veggie fajita, no cheese or sc. veggies had been frozen. They were mushy and basically inedible. Beans and rice were not authentic. Margarita was plenty but nothing special. Churros were frozen, they came out cool in the center. This place can do better.

Gregg D.

Yelp
Adequate is how I would describe the meal. The decor is five star and the service too...just not a ton of flavor in the food.

Kelsee F.

Yelp
Prompt service. good margaritas. had the carnitas enchiladas and the pork didn't seem to be cooked in any sauce and was crunchy in an old way. the place is decorated really cute but there was food stuck in between the glass and the table which was kinda gross. for the price i felt like the portions were lacking but it was enough to satisfy me.

Mandy G.

Yelp
We had the carne asada burrito and chicken taquitos that were both delicious. They also make a fantastic margarita, try the strawberry if you like something fruity. Oliver took great care of us. Our next visit to Moab we will for sure be back!!

Rachel G.

Yelp
We were hesitant to come here due to the low review on Yelp but the Google review is really good so we decided to try it out, BEST decision ever! The fajitas was amazing!!! We ordered the fajitas for two and chose beef and shrimp, the meat and the veggies were cooked to perfection! I usually don't like beans but the beans were amazing as well! Also make sure to try the Fiesta Margarita, dangerously good. Would come back again next time in town! Highly recommend.

Monica L.

Yelp
I had dinner at Fiesta Mexicana when I was in Moab. The deluxe nachos (with ground beef) were really good.

Priscilla E.

Yelp
We went here for a margarita but ended up grabbing a meal. The servers were so polite and kind which was refreshing after some less than stellar service elsewhere in town. We sat on the porch - nice to be outside but there is some street noise. (This probably seems obvious but just to be safe.) Margaritas were decent and as strong as you'd expect a Utah margarita.

Kathleen S.

Yelp
The ambiance of Fiesta Mexicana was great!! It really made me smile non stop!! Cheerful and Festive!! The food was also very good, as was our server. We liked it soo much we ate there twice!! We would definitely go back!! Great food, Great atmosphere!!

K M.

Yelp
We lunched with a very large group (~40), and wow, the meals came out fresh, hot and on time! What's more, the servers were friendly, efficient and professional. My Shredded Chicken Enchilada meal was tasty. Two cheesy enchiladas stuffed with shredded chicken were served with a bit of coleslaw-like salad, Mexican rice and refried beans. Again - hot and fresh! The decor is colorful and inviting. The restroom was very clean. I only wish there were more than two stalls to accommodate us. Free parking, and outdoor seating with misting is available. Recommended!

Sean E.

Yelp
Mediocre at best. Got a combo with a chicken chimichanga and a ground beef taco. Kinda flavorless all around. Chips and salsa was good. Service was ok. Hostess didn't say anything at all, waiter was nice and fast. That is all.
