Located in a gorgeous little alley right past the port, the food is simply delicious. Seating is limited, but in the off season there is usually still no wait. A perfect stop if you need a break for a night to try something different than the local Mediterranean & Italian cuisines. If you are an American and hesitant to try something new, this is a great spot for familiar eats with a lovely Croatian twist. Everything was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. I had the chicken burrito and she had the Korma. For an appetizer we split sweet potato fries.

Coming from California, we were craving good Mexican food. The owners are from Argentina and Australia/Croatia, so I had my doubts. Pleasantly surprised! Different, but phenomenal. Servers were working as a team and had smiles all the time (even when a guest hit her tray and stuff broke).

Located at the alley and away from all the crowd. The restaurants open morning for breakfast till dinner. We came here at 11 so only breakfast is available. Lunch starts at 12. We had avocado toast with bacon and poached eggs. It was beautiful done, bacon was crispy, avocado with tiny lime and the chewiness of bread blend well. I would prefer if the egg were a bit runny. Also had flatbread with roasted fig and walnut. Bread was crispy, and the walnut was crunchy and tasty. Overall, the food was excellent.

Truely yummy. The burger was good and has a basket of fries. The Mexican pulled pork is more like chillies. The fig and jam focaccia and the watermelon salad were amazing. Watermelon and pesto sounds like an odd combination, but it works well. The plates are very instagram able.

We had a nice experience at Fig - cut off from the main areas, giving you a quiet atmosphere in a narrow road and avoiding the hustle and bustle that the summer evenings in Hvar brings along. The food was very nice - maybe a tad pricy for the portion size, but very tasty. We took a BBQ burger and a Vegetarian burger. We also tried one of their freshly squeezed juices which was really nice; orange lemon and ginger. Staff were very sweet, polite and helpful. Recommended!

Great experience at Hvar fig. Food was gorgeous and a great location. Was busy however a table was sorted in less than 20 mins. Loved all the food

cute little cafe/restaurant off the main tourist square. fresh delicious food that caters to various dietary, with many vegan and vegetarian options. hubby had the figs and local cheese sandwich while i had the vegan korma curry with flatbread. curry was authentic, comforting, delicious with the toasted flatbread. service was super attentive. highly recommend!!

We came here after multiple people recommended it while visiting Hvar, and while the setting is undeniably charming — tucked into a cozy alley with lovely service — the food just didn’t hit the mark for us. We ordered the pulled pork and the burrito, two of their most popular dishes, and unfortunately both fell flat. To be fair, we’re from North America and have spent a lot of time in California and Mexico, so we came in with a high bar for Mexican food. This felt more like a local interpretation than anything truly Mexican — decent effort, but not something I’d order again. If you don’t eat Mexican food often, it might still feel reminiscent and enjoyable. But if you’re familiar with the real deal, you’ll likely be underwhelmed. Cute spot, great staff, but food-wise, it just wasn’t for us.
