I recently visited Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. in Santa Barbara, and I was impressed! The craft beers are exceptional, and they have a great selection of IPA's and stouts. The brewery itself has a chill vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. I highly recommend the "Fig Mtn Pale Ale," it was refreshing and flavorful.

An excellent find on a hot day, offering local craft beer. We had several flights to try out the various brews, some matching signs on the walls. The beers themselves were interesting and different but nothing that I absolutely couldn't live without and nothing that I never wanted to see again (which means pretty good overall). We especially liked the dog friendly aspect of the pub as there was a local in with his friendly retriever. We will definitely come back for another few rounds to try what's on tap if we return through Santa Barbara some future day.

Great selection of beer and they play great music that creates a cool vibe. Reggae and West Coast music such as Hip Aduction, Pepper, Sublime, etc. Cool setting with lots of outdoor seating. They just need to build a kitchen so that they have in-house food.

If you are visiting the Santa Barbara area or live here permanently, this is a must stop spot. Located yards away from the Pier and State Street. This location has tasty beers, I highly recommend getting a flight of the seasonal brews and staples. The Hoppy Poppy and Lizard Mouth are my favorite. The bar is dog friendly, with an ample patio. Dogs are welcome inside too. Ask for a water bowl, for your pup. If you are hungry, you scan a QR code and can order some different dishes from the restaurants that share the block. We ordered a pizza from Lucky Penny! Perfect with beer on a fall afternoon.

Nice brewery with great drinks! I'm not much of a beer person but am always keeping an open mind and enjoy visiting breweries. This is one of the few where I enjoyed their beers. Got a flight, as well as a cosmopolitan since the bartender recommended it. The flight was great, enjoyed their agua santa cerveza which was light and with a sweet corn taste. Their cherry hibiscus kombucha was also delicious. The cosmo on the other hand was not the best. It was a weird combination, maybe because it was sake based here. I do wish they offered food, although when we went there was an event and you could purchase banh mi sandwiches.

Ambiance here is great. They have games you can play. Tried a flight of beer, my favorite was the Agua Santa, which had a hint of sweet corn. I appreciate that each beer in the flight had a tasting card & explains the flavors in each drink. They had sake based cocktails, tried the cosmopolitan. Tbh it was not the best & tasted awful. So I would steer clear of their cocktails. Maybe just stick to the beers since that's what they're known for.

I'm an ipa lover.. ipa's eh but this rice beer they had... soooo good! Really enjoyed it Great spot for kids to run around. Would like for there to be a bit more for kids. But would love that at all breweries so not complaining much. Food, great! Kids burgers were big and delicious! Loved the carnitas nachos too. The kale salad could use a bit more flavor. Lovely brewery we stumbled into after dinner nearby. We made friends at the bar immediately, and it was a great time hanging and trying a flight of unique beers. The staff was happy and friendly, and you could tell it was definitely a locals spot. On a warm July evening, the weather was perfect for their indoor/outdoor setup. We were only visiting Santa Barbara for the weekend, but I could definitely see us returning to this spot the next time we're in town.

Back in SB on a ship cruise. Back to the Funk Zone is a must. Staring with a personal fav. Figueroa Mt. Our server Stone was very knowledgeable and attentive. I had lots of questions and Stone asked the manager Tony to give me some of his time. This is a tuff thing to do but Tony explained in detail answers to all our questions. Very impressed with the customer service and personal service. Equally impressed with the Mosaic Brew. Has improved since the last time we were here and hope to see it available on tap in SD . Figaroa Mt. definitely stands out over most breweries I've been to. Great brew great staff at the same place.

I really wanted to give this place more stars... But we had some mishaps here that made us not so happy... Definitely great vibes here, everyone was super chill and the layout made is really easy to talk to others! The music was 100/10! Loved all the throwbacks! The drinks were all delicious, we had ordered some of the pineapple sunset hard kombucha and it tasted like gummy bears! The service wasn't bad, we went straight to the bar to get our drinks, so not much of a wait. The biggest complaint was that the bench we were sat at was extremely narrow.... And also kind of rickety. It rocked back and forth. So then 2 out of the 6 people in our group fell backwards off of the bench. One person had been drinking, but the other person had not... So we can't really blame it on the alcohol... Why would anyone have such uncomfortable narrow seats?? I just don't understand...

A friend and I spent a day in SB's Funk Zone. We hit 3 breweries, they were all good beer-wise, but had different atmospheres. Figueroa Mountain is loud, high energy music, when a live band isn't playing. This is a place to party, not to chill.

Award winning Danish Red is the real deal! Took a pit stop at this unassuming brewery on our walk to/from state street and wanted to check out the beers. The servers and bartenders were super knowledgeable about the selection. We had a brief conversation about what we like best and they made a great selection for our flight. When I expressed how much I like red and Amber beers they recommended the Danish red, which had won a silver or bronze medal at a beer competition. I don't remember the specifics, but all I can say is it lives up to the award-winning hype. We ended up grabbing a six pack to go because I enjoyed it that much! If you are a beer lover I would give this place a shot. Also, they have a really nice outdoor patio area.

Glad I tried this local brewery. I went in to have 1 beer but ended up having 2 (nothing wrong with an extra beer). I enjoyed Lizard Mouth so but that it became my 2nd serving. It has a brewery slash sport bar vibe but more in a brewery side, if it makes sense. The young bartender was helpful and asked what I had a taste for. I don't know too much about beers but enough to know what I like. She recommended Lizard Mouth and she was not wrong at directing me to a good beer. Great place. Came for happy hour, left back to my room happy!

Self-seating, you can order at the bar or on your phone, they usually have a server or two that will also come to your table. I am so glad we stopped into Figueroa Brew to grab a drink! The wife and I were in town for a wedding up at Chumash Casino, and wanted to spend the Thursday before in Santa Barbra. We love breweries and found Figueroa, we also wanted to watch the warriors potential Finals Clinching game (They Won). The drinks were INCREDIBLE! My wife loves Hard Kombucha and Figueroa has about 12 on draft! The atmosphere was awesome, a great mix of people in their late 20's like my wife and I, all the way up to a couple senior citizens watching the game as well! I highly suggest coming to this Figueroa Brewering Co.

My wife and I were in Carpinteria for the month of January 2022 and took the bus up to Santa Barbara every weekend and this brewery was in what they call the Funk Zone, kind of a hipster area full of coffee shops and wineries and brewery's. We stopped by Figueroa Mountain and I had an IPA and one of their hard seltzers. Both were pretty good, nothing spectacular, but good. The bartender was a little curt, but maybe he was having a bad day. They did have a nice patio to go outside and enjoy the almost perfect every day Santa Barbara weather. They did have a nice beer menu on the wall and it was easy to see. Not a bad place to have a beer and relax.

They also serve food from another restaurant and you can scan a QR code on your table to order. My friend and I struggled to order food with the QR code though.

Whoever was behind the bar on Monday, 4/1 (not April Fools!) was horrible. He spent more time affixing decals to beer mugs and talking with his buddy about how his shoulder was bothering him and what he needed to do to fix it, while our beers sat under the spicker once he poured them. We were ignored even after approaching him to get our beers. He kept his shoulder conversation going with his buddy. He could of cared less than we were patronizing his place of business. REALLY!!

Awesome brewery with good beers in Santa Barbara. They are combined with Flying Embers, so my bf had a couple different IPAs while I had a delicious kombucha. We ended up taking a couple 6-packs home to enjoy. Dog friendly as well!

Hoppy Poppy IPA top shelf beer here folks!Recently picked up 6 pack of their Hoppy Poppy IPA from my local bottle shop U-Save liquors and man this is one fantastic flavorful IPA! You have to try if you enjoy crisp flavoral west coast style IPA's. Not hazy but has floral tropical notes w a little spice, bite, bitterness dry crisp finish. So good get some of this beer soon you'll be very happy friends. Also while on a Cali road trip found a few tap rooms featuring this fine brew, good stuff, cheers y'all! Zman.

Love this spot! The location is perfect for exploring SB, between downtown and the coast (wharf, beach). The outdoor patio is open - perfect place to relax in the sun. They do flights, which I enjoyed, and the drink menu includes beers & hard kombucha (also bought some kombucha for later!). They also had chips & guac available as snacks. Street & public parking nearby, wifi available for guests, & dogs allowed on the patio. Can't wait to visit again!

Cool spot! Seems like one of the more popular breweries in the area given its proximity to the main road. They have more indoor space than outdoor, but plenty of both. The beer selection was cool and the bartenders were very friendly. I would say at least the beer that I had, wasn't particularly memorable but was a solid IPA. Overall, I'd come back here again.

Fig Mountain has a good beer selection and nice employees. If you don't like beer or can't drink it they have a lot of hard kombuchas (Flying Embers) to try from! The location is really convienent too. You can easily walk to other breweries, to state street, to the funk zone or head to the beach. They offer snacks too. The interior is spatious but I prefer to be out on the big patio.

Gluten free drinker. Normally breweries don't have much option for me. But this new age with hard kombucha has made it easier for me. I had the spicy mango kombucha. It was delish! Very light hint of spice and an overall light mango flavor. This was a win in my book. Husband had two: the name sake and the lager. He enjoyed both. And so far on our trip the best beers he has had.

What great beers Figueroa serves. I'm not a beer snob or anything but I'm from SD and we have a ton of great craft beers, Fig would fit right in if they wanted to expand to SD. I got the blood orange and it's delicious and juicy. The only other blood orange I like is latitude 33, I think Fig might give Latitude 33 a run for its money. Place was popping around 4pm but we manage to get a seat at the bar. Super loud and busy place... Friendly beertenders.

Met up with some friends for a little gathering at Fig Mountain in the SB funk zone. It was busy but not crowded. We were able to make a table reservation on the patio. The wait staff was attentive. Brought the table menus for Lucky Penny. We were able to place an order and to my shock it was delivered to our table. That was by far awesome! We didn't have to leave the venue. I really like their selection of beers. My husband is a an IPA kinda guy I'm more of an Amber or Red. There's a nice selection for all. Great atmosphere!
