We had a lovely time over here. It is very accessible by bus and the family rooms are very spacious (then ones in the green building at least), but I would have expected some more useful amenities. There's a fridge and there's free filtered water available at the restaurant. But having cups, a water boiler and some tea and coffee would have been a great addition. Also, there are no shelves at all to organise your stuff. You have to put everything on the floor of your room. We've had better rooms for the same amount of money. But it's still a place we recommend. The small resort has a wonderful, relaxing vibe with several spots in the shade and many hammocks. Food is delicious. The lunch menu stays the same, the dinner varies every day. Basic breakfast is included, but you can order extra dishes from the menu. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Cozy, Fun, and Right on the Beach A cute little surf lodge right on the beach with a relaxed, friendly vibe. The staff are super warm and welcoming, and the food is fresh, tasty, and local. There’s a cute pool, beach swings, great snorkeling, and plenty of activities to keep you busy. The rooms are comfortable. The onsite coffee shop is good!!! Sunsets are stunning, and the overall atmosphere is cozy, fun, relaxed and full of good people. would definitely come back!

Very social place, all the staff are very welcoming. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Food is good and you pay for what you want rather than being forced into paying for a stupid food package like most resorts force you into. Plenty of activities offered. The lead surf instructor is a great guy, who is very knowledgeable about all the different surf spots and is always willing to help people learn. Laundry services offered. Happy hour drinks. Pool table. Live music. And there are plenty of great dogs

Staff were very welcoming on arrival. Our room was lovely, there was a double bed and a single bed in the Frangipani room.|The outdoor bathroom was very unusual and took a little bit of getting used to - especially as we were trying to keep the mosquitos out. But it was lovely having a shower outside among the palm leaves. I wasn't sure if there would be ample hot water, but there was plenty and shower gel and shampoo are provided.||Room cons:|The windows had no glass in them - only shutters, so you can hear everything from outside. Wasn't an issue apart from a morning of heavy rain. However quite a lot of the shutters were broken so you couldn't actually close them fully - which let in extra light. |When people checked into the room upstairs, you could hear all of their loud footsteps up the stairs and movements around the room.||There are no supermarkets nearby (only a cafe at The Projects Collective which is open Mon-Sat 8-5.30pm and Sunday 9-5 that sells food, drink, beautiful clothes and souvenirs) so you have to buy dinner at the beachouse. Every day a new menu is put out with lots of options to choose from (see photos). All of my meals were delicious but I really enjoyed the Ika Vakalolo which was a local coconut fish dish. |Daily breakfast was white and brown toast, cornflakes, weetabix, fruit, tea/coffee and juice - and one day we were there, there was fresh scones also. Free chilled rainwater is available at the bar during the day, so you don't have to bring bottled water with you.||I would really recommend the jungle trek - seeing the local village, swimming in the river and drinking from a fresh coconut. We went kayaking at high tide which was fun (there was no one manning the desk so we just signed the form and took a paddle). |Some activities do not run everyday (weaving, horseback riding, etc) so I would suggest that you ask reception when checking in, as we didn't and had planned to do both horseback riding and the weaving workshop and were disappointed. We instead went for a massage, which I believe is on everyday. ||Late afternoon on Saturday, a band started to set up and played until later on in the evening. They were incredibly good and had a great setlist. ||Overall, I loved our stay here - it would be nice if there was a few more deck chairs to lounge in, as these got taken very quickly.

An unforgettable Fijian experience! Fiji Beachouse completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family—genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The personalized service made all the difference; it felt like they truly cared about creating a memorable experience for every guest. The setting is pure paradise—gorgeous beaches, crystal-clear water, and plenty of spots to relax and unwind. Whether you're swinging in a hammock, lounging by the pool, or strolling along the beach, it's incredibly peaceful and restorative. The food was fresh and delicious every day, with a nice mix of local flavors and familiar favorites. I especially appreciated the laid-back, communal vibe at meals—it’s easy to meet other travelers or enjoy quiet time if you prefer. Excursions were another highlight! From reef snorkeling to waterfall hikes, every adventure was well-organized and gave us a deeper appreciation of Fiji's natural beauty and culture. This place overdelivers in the best way—simple luxury, incredible hospitality, and the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. I can’t wait to return.

I liked the place and the team. However, I was so disappointed about the jungle tour they offered. It was supposed to be from 10 to 1. We walked 20 minutes and we were already ready to go back. I did not see any waterfall. It was really boring. It was a 40min walk in total and not 3h as planned.

Loved this place. A bit of a drive to het there (would recommend renting a car) but the place is right on the front of a small surf break and reef. Outdoor bathrooms (within your private space) were beautiful. Staff were relaxed and friendly. The place was set up for meeting lots of people. Could be better on cleanliness
