Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa

We very much enjoyed our stay on the Coral Coast at the Fiji Hideaway Resort. It is a good location on the Coral Coast with a nice beachfront where a range of water activities can be enjoyed. The range of resort activities occurring each day provided a good mix between experiencing local culture (shout out to the Tagaqe village Sunday School Choir), adventure, exploring the area and learning new things. The beachside bure accommodation was comfortable, had good natural airflow, and was provided with everything we needed. We enjoyed the other amenities provided - pool, ice-cream shop, bar. The meals were great also - in particular Lovo Buffet night. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Thanks to Thomas and Bill for inviting us to watch their mullet fishing too!

We travelled to Fiji as a family of 8, age range 79yo -7yo and had the best time. The staff were lovely and took the time to make you feel very welcome. By the end of our stay, we were all known on a first name basis. (Extra shout out to Kini, Tash and Dan) |Although the rooms were a little dated, they were comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. There was a great range of daytime activities offered every day as well as the pool slide which got some good use too. We booked ahead for the spa services which were relaxing and a nice way to wind down. The night shows were interactive and fun for the whole family. The cocktails and iced chocolates were a hit and at affordable prices. Highly recommend Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa for a family get away.

Bula!! My bestie & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fiji Hideaway. As a young woman travelling without family, I felt incredibly safe and valued with special thanks to the staff of this Resort. A special Vinaka to James & Sefo for helping us with our luggage and ensuring it was secure. Elite for being the best bartender & David for making us feel at home. Vinaka to Manasa & Oni for personally making us feel welcomed and checking in daily if we were okay. We really appreciate how attending and welcoming the staff made us feel. I definitely recommend this resort. If you're looking for true island relaxation, culturally in touch, and overall Fijian hospitality, this is the place for you!! I cannot fault this resort. The team are incredibly kind and accommodating, and have the most amazing memories for faces, and names in some instances. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are comfortable and relaxed, and the daily maintenance on our room was greatly appreciated. Great daily activities and resources available too with a shop on-site.

4.3 stars. We had a wonderful night at Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa. Located right on Fiji’s beautiful Southern shore, the resort sits in a quiet bay and offers a lovely beachfront setting. We arrived just in time to see the beautiful sunset over the water. While the property is beginning to show its age, the comfortable rooms and amenities still made for a relaxing stay, ideal for large groups and families. The staff were gracious hosts, making our party feel welcome. The resort provided a beautiful dinner buffet for our large party with an assortment of traditional Fijian dishes. Following dinner, we enjoyed live music and dancing for our private function. We could have danced all night! The next morning, breakfast was simple but hit the spot, under a wide veranda overlooking the bay.

Our holiday experience was truly unforgettable. The room's breathtaking view was a daily source of inspiration, and I felt grateful to unwind in the chair, soaking up the stunning coral coast scenery. The diverse range of activities on offer was impressive, and I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional staff, including Kini, whose warm smile, extensive knowledge, and gracious hospitality at the activities centre left a lasting impression. I also appreciated how the staff enthusiastically encouraged guests to participate in the night shows.

I stayed at Hideaway with my wife and two teenage kids. The staff are fantastic always looking after everyone, with a smile. Everyday there are fun activities for all ages. A great variety of food too. Very good snorkeling (so clear) out the front and some good waves out on the reef. There's plenty to do outside of the resort too. The value for money with Hideaway is amazing. Highly recommend if you're on a limited budget.

While the resort is a little older and less “luxury” than others, it makes up with heart! The food is delicious, they offer endless daily activities (some free and some a small price) that are suitable for families and adults, they give rich lessons in their culture with things from dances to village tours. But the most amazing thing about this resort is the people. The staff are the most friendly, genuine people I have ever met. They truly go above and beyond to make your experience a good one. A lot of the staff make an effort to learn and remember your name, they will encourage you to join them in dancing and even participate in the activities with you. I will come back to this resort just for the beautiful people. Important to note while this is probably more a family resort, my partner and I had a wonderful time.
