Fikus - the Apulian B&B

What a great place to be..! |Lovely, helpful and very kind owners, with their 3 dogs and the cutest little girl. |We stayed in the 3rd appartment that is situated in the a true ancient Trullo. What a pleasure for us including our two girls to stay in such an historical house. Nice beds, outside kitchen including a real pizza oven and a bathroom that meets the basic standards. |A swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds and surrounded with olive trees and of course fikusses. The place feels like remote with its quitness but not too far from the "outside world"!|Outside the B&B many nice places to visit such as Monopoli, Ostuni, Martina Franca and sandy beaches at both the Adriatic as well as the Ionic seas.||A must visit!

This place is fantastic! It‘s a 10 minutes drive from Ceglie Messapica, a small city famous for its great restaurants. You could spend all your holiday at the pool in the middle of olive and fig trees. The hosts Luisa and Francesco are exceptionally friendly and helping out with everything. We stayed in both rooms for several nights (not in the trullo, which seems to be great as well). They are very similar. Room 84 is detached and has a little bit more privacy, although this isn’t really an issue here - you feel like at home anyway. It’s a great place for kids. The hosts have a little baby girl, and they love families. There is a sweet and a salty choice for breakfast, you can decide what you want every morning. Breakfast starts at 8:30 (until 10:30), maybe a bit late for a family friendly place. When the figs are ripe (they were in the second half of August), you can pick them at any time. Delicious! The outdoor kitchen has basic equipment for cooking easy dishes and a small fridge. This was great for us! Bring mosquito repellent for the outside area. If you love peace and quiet in the countryside and to feel at home away from home, this is your place to stay at!

Heaven on earth. The hosts are the loveliest people and they have created a very special place for discerning travelers wanting an authentic, casual yet elegant southern Italian experience. Francesco and Luisa have fantastic knowledge of the region (being Pugliese themselves) and can give you plenty of advice on places to visit. It's the perfect place to explore the beauty of Puglia. Not that you'll want to leave much! Gorgeous property full of olive groves and quiet places to sit and relax, sparkling white pool with big comfy poolside beds, home grown olive oil, excellent breakfast with all local produce and for the coffee nerds, one of the best brews of our trip! I could go on and on. Fikus was definitely a highlight and we can't wait to return!

Lovely place, great host. Loved the amazing dogs and cats as well. They bring such a lovely vibe.

Extraordinary!

Abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di usufruire dei vari angoli della masseria, come per esempio cenare sotto l ulivo. Stanza pulita ed arredata con gusto, colazione ottima, soprattutto il cappuccino con tantissima schiuma! Le varie abitazioni son dotate di tutto il necessario per poter vivere l esperienza di aver una casetta in campagna. Ottima ospitalità dai padroni di casa e soprattutto dai loro amici a 4 zampe! Consigliato X chi vuol trascorrere qualche giorno in campagna in completo relax!

Una splendida masseria immersa nelle campagne di Ostuni! E' arredata con un ottimo gusto moderno, ma nello stesso tempo rimane avvolto nella quiete e nella pace della natura che vi circonda. Adatto per famiglie con bambini piccoli e Francesco il titolare è una persona squisita con il quale poter condividere moltissimi argomenti, inoltre è molto disponibile a qualsiasi informazione turistica sui posti e ristoranti. Si respira un'aria di famiglia e di relax, veramente il top! Con piacere lascio la recensione perchè è giusto dare merito a chi si impegna per lavorare bene e accontentare i propri ospiti!
