Fili Hotel NUSTAR Cebu

One of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had! Special thanks to Carl Francis, Cedrick, and Sean for their attentive service. Loved the wide variety of international dishes with so many great choices to enjoy. Overall, it was a delightful and satisfying dining experience.

I recently stayed at Fili and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations for a hotel at this price point. Check-in was quite slow, which already set the tone for the stay. Upon entering the room, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, and it took a long time for facilities/maintenance to respond and check the issue. When we requested an extra bed, we were given a sofa bed instead of a proper single bed, which was disappointing. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, but the food quality and taste did not match the selection. For a premium-priced hotel, I expected better overall quality and service. Late check-out was also very strict — only 30 minutes allowed, as they mentioned the hotel was fully booked. While I understand high occupancy situations, the flexibility felt limited. The only highlight of the stay was the bed — it was very comfortable and provided good rest. Overall, the experience felt below standard considering the price.

We had a fantastic stay at Fili Nustar Cebu. From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth, comfortable, and well taken care of. The hotel is beautiful and modern, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was great, the amenities were high quality, and the view was a nice bonus that made our stay even more relaxing. The staff really stood out. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We felt well assisted the entire time without it ever feeling over the top. Overall, Fili Nustar Cebu offers a great balance of luxury and comfort. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cebu.

Our stay at Fili Hotel at Nustar was absolute perfection. From the warm, genuine hospitality at check-in to the spectacular, modern room with breathtaking views, we couldn't have asked for more. The breakfast buffet was a highlight—fresh, diverse, and delicious—and the amenities were top-tier. Every peso felt justified for the level of luxury and service provided. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cebu!

GOOD: -The hotel is newly built so everything looks up to date and modern. -Beautiful aesthetic, from the lobby to the rooms! Sea view room looked amazing. -Nespresso machine in the room for good coffee. -The executive seaview room has a bathtub and separate shower. Very spacious. -The gym was big and work out equipment was diverse and specially liked the threadmills facing the sea. - On one side are two infinity pools, on the other side are three circular resort pools with fantastic views! - The mall is very spacious, very luxe feels, beautiful and not crowded! - Premium restaurants a plenty with really good quality cuisine. They also have a food court with lower price ranged food outlets. There is also a Premier cinema. COULD BE IMPROVED: -For a massive multi building hotel and resort complex, their male steam room was tiny. Only two people could sit inside. At best a third person could stand. -Please install a clothes spinner machine in the changing rooms for wet pool clothes.

I’ve reached that beautiful middle-age stage of life where my expectations are honestly quite simple — a comfortable mattress, strong morning coffee, smooth service, and zero stress. As the saying goes, “happy wife, happy life,” so we decided to spend a couple of days at Nustar - Fili From the moment we arrived at 12:30 PM, we were genuinely impressed. Check-in at the lobby took only a few minutes. To our surprise and appreciation, our Executive Deluxe King - Sea View room was already ready for us. Throughout our stay, everything simply worked. No issues, no delays, no complications. Just peace, comfort, good food, and the simple pleasure of being able to fully relax. At this stage in life, that is exactly what luxury feels like. Free extended 1PM Checkout was just as seamless — we returned the key cards and were on our way immediately. No long lines, no waiting around. The entire experience felt well-organized, professional, and genuinely guest-focused. We would like to sincerely thank everyone — from the security guards who welcomed us, to the front desk team, housekeeping, and management. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, efficient, and made us feel truly valued (it’s hard to find in the Philippines, 6* for this) It was a very pleasant and smooth stay, and we are genuinely grateful for the experience. We look forward to coming back again.

Great location to Cebu city and also to Talisay where we had activities. Food was ok for breakfast. Good coffee was a challenge to find. Dinner buffet we ate once was good! What really lacked here was cleaning the rooms. Seems like they made the beds and didn’t give us fresh towels even though we laid them on the floor but the maid service would hang them up. We had to ask for fresh towels - room was very cleaned. Nice room for sure but for spending $225 per night room should be cleaned very well. You can’t take coffee from restaurant to room - lastly the men’s 4th toilet area (locker room) was in rough shape. Desperately needed repairs. Nice hotel but for future my money will not be spent here again as your way over paying in my opinion.

We have an executive room with lounge access. The room was large clean and next door to the executive lounge. The lounge had a good afternoon tea and canopies and cocktails from 5:30 to 7:30. The canopies were great and so good that we did not need dinner after. Cocktails tasted good but were a little low in alcohol content. The rain shower was very warm but other things were cold including the food at breakfast and the ambient temperature in the public areas, set to about 19c. As a lounge perk we had a 2:00 pm checkout. However when we went to the room to collect our bags, we were already lock out as their system thought it as already 2:00. This is a very poor circumstance from a 5 star hotel as is the buffet breakfast quality. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
