Gave this a try even though some comments frightened us. There were some good choices and some horrible ones. The cheese ball appetizer were amazing. And the other 2 appetizers were good. My family enjoyed their pasta choices. The lobster pasta my daughter loved. I had pizza. Sausage and mushroom. I saw a 10/10 review. I'm from Queens NYC so pizza is my thing. It was not good at all. Crust was undercooked and more mushroom than anything. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙏🏼. Dunno if I'd be back.

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we still had to wait for a table. Once seated, the service was just as bad — our waiter was not friendly, never smiled, and was barely helpful. Before we were seated, we were told that kids under 5 eat free. However, when the bill came, they changed the story and said you have to order an adult meal to get a free kids meal — which was never explained before. We have three kids, so it would have been impossible and completely unfair. When we asked for help, the manager, Jonason, came over. I have to say he was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He bluntly said, “This is how it should be,” and even admitted they aren’t supposed to tell customers about the fine print. When I said I wasn’t going to pay the extra charge, he arrogantly replied, “It doesn’t matter, I’ll charge your room anyway because I have you on camera,” and just walked away. My wife tried to speak with him too, and he ignored her and walked off again. It’s clear that when a place is run by someone like him, the staff will follow that bad example. Terrible service, terrible attitude — I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was delicious and service was great, but the atmosphere is hard to compare once you’ve been to Marcus or Costa. The kids pizza was my 2 year old’s favorite!!

Fi’lia, an Italian restaurant offering a range of classic dishes, delivers a decent experience, but it falls short of being remarkable. The atmosphere is pleasant enough, and the menu covers a variety of Italian staples that are generally appealing. However, the execution of the dishes leaves something to be desired. The chicken parmesan, for instance, is satisfying but lacks the depth of flavor that could elevate it to something memorable. The spaghetti on the side is a nice touch, though it doesn’t stand out. Similarly, the fried chicken and fries, while crisp and enjoyable, feel more like a safe choice than a highlight. Overall, the food feels competent but uninspired, missing the spark that would make it truly impressive. While Fi’lia offers a solid meal, it doesn’t quite live up to the level of culinary finesse or distinctiveness you might hope for in an Italian restaurant. It’s a fine choice for a casual dining experience, but not one that’s likely to leave a lasting impression. If you’re looking for a place to grab an okay meal, Fi’lia fits the bill, but it might not be your first pick for a standout evening.

We had a truly wonderful experience. The service was exceptional. Our server, Dewit, was incredibly attentive and offered excellent suggestions. We celebrated my wife's birthday there, and he made it a very special occasion. I highly recommend this establishment and will certainly return.

Honestly, I was disappointed in the food. Be careful!! When they ask: still or sparkling? Ask for tap. The still bottle is $14!! The burrata was dry, the chicken parmigiana was INEDIBLE, that multiple people at my table had spit it out. Although, the calamari & lamb chops were GREAT! It’s also FREEZING in here. Wear pants and a sweater. I highly advise.

Honeymoon day 2… we had to try Italian as it’s one of the Romance languages and the menu was very appealing. Antipasti was a house baked focaccia that was baked to perfection with an aged balsamic that complimented the bread so well… we had to add our own twist with olive oil and red pepper flakes because we just had to make it perfect. Insalata was the Panzanella which was very fresh, but unfortunately they left out the capers which was an essential element for the salty flavor that completed the salad. Our main was a fisherman’s catch which was a grouper and a grilled Bronzino. The grouper was very delicious and the charred broccolini was the cherry on top. The Bronzino was not as tasty as I would have imagined it to be… it was missing flavor… just can’t put my finger on it. A must try are their truffle fries which were crispy, rich in flavor and had a fresh parmigiana coating that complimented the fries so well… for dessert we had to have their Tiramisu and sorbet to put the meal together. Our waiter was Shawn and he was so attentive and accommodating, making this experience memorable. Why only 4 out of 5? The salad was missing an ingredient, the Bronzino was a bit bland and the grilled mushrooms we ordered was missing 2 out of the 3 mushrooms I was expecting to be there.

Wow! What a fantastic meal and equally fantastic service! My husband, daughter and I sat at the bar for a late-ish dinner and we were greeted by Teresa. After watching her make a perfect cosmo - the best one I have had on property - we listened to every suggestion she made for dinner and ordered the focaccia, Fritto misto, Caesar salad, vodka pasta, pesto pasta and grouper. Every single item was delicious. Another bartender, Carni, then suggested she make me a second cosmo with peach essence. I was skeptical as any true cosmo lover would be. It was so so so delicious. My second best drink on property all week. We finished off the meal with the very good lemon ricotta cheesecake and chocolate cherry dessert, both suggested by Teresa. Although the food and drinks were top notch, the outstanding service put this restaurant at the top of my list. Add it to your list of reservations for your next visit to Baha Mar.
