Filitti Boutique Hotel

A great place for a solo traveller felt very safe at all times. Check in was easy and the staff were so friendly and helpful! I forgot my plug adapter from UK to EU I asked the lady at reception and whilst they didn't have one she offered me something that belonged to her to charge my phone which was absolutely lovely! |The only reason I am giving this 4* instead of 5 is the lack of amenities in the room. There was no kettle or tea / coffee facilities but perhaps that is normal in Romania? And I did request an iron as there wasn't one in the room but it seemed like there was only one as the lady said it was in someone else's room so to come back the next day for it. There's a mini bar and very affordable prices for those items within which is good. Room was spacious and the bathroom was great shower was absolutely huge and did have shampoo conditioner etc. The rooms are cleaned daily which is good as they replaced towels which was good. I was in my room on the 2nd day when the cleaner attended so knocked and asked if I wanted the clean which was nice of her didn't just let herself in. Aircon was a bit confusing to work and didnt always turn on so sometimes the room was very warm but not a problem really for me as I like to be warm. Bed was ok not the comfiest but this place is in the centre of old town (just far enough away from the hustle and bustle so it's not loud but close enough to work under 5 mins!) and very affordable excellent stay for a solo traveller and big shout out to the staff who were so lovely and helpful. Didn't have breakfast as it's served from 7am and I was out most days before this.

Good value hotel in a great location right in the Old Town. Rooms were clean and spacious. View from rooftop was exceptional. Friendly team at reception too. I would stay again 100%. Breakfast was varied with a good selection and again good value for money.

Lovely simple hotel, thats a bit quirky in its look. Great staff and rooms spacious and well presented. Location is perfect for the old town vibe, without being too close for a disturbed sleep. really happy to stay here again

this is 0 star hostel, no 4 star hotel. I don't know who gave stars to hotels in Romania but it shows they have no standard. No service, no gym, no reception, nothing. The room came by double bed, although we asked for queen. The bathroom had no amenities. The view is a collapsing building. The breakfast horrible. totally disappointing.

Honestly, no idea who calls this 4 star hotel but it’s more like 1 star. If you are looking for not equipped rooms, old bed with a huge dip in the bed, plastic cups for coffee (not gonna mention the coffee), one tea choice (fruit tea) for breakfast and burnt croissants hard as rock? Great choice then! 🥲

Very clean and newly decorated hotel in the heart of the old town. Staff were very nice and helpful. The single room is great for solo travellers.

What a lovely hotel! A real hidden gem close to the Bucharest Old Town. ||The room was impeccably clean and warm (it was -14 when I arrived!), the hotel room was modern and my room had a stunning view (I was on the 5th floor). ||The breakfast bar was at the top of the hotel with stunning views, I didn’t book breakfast so I can’t comment on the items available but I did pop up to see the view. ||Everyone was really welcoming and I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling alone.||It was easy to walk everywhere I wanted to see and pick up an uber to get anywhere I couldn’t walk too.||The only downside was that the lift was out of order for my stay and I was on the 5th floor, which was a long way up after a few drinks.

in case you would like to live in old town and close to center, this is probably very good option, however during my stay (longer one) i’ve faced no hot water for 3 days, wet walls above shower resulting in visible growing mushroom, no free water and very poor breakfast ! i will not be coming back here !
