Film at Lincoln Center

The selection is always elite! The staff is always friendly! Their selection of older and new films always impresses me - I am a member so I come quite often. The seats are comfortable, nothing fancy, but they do the job well. Always enjoy taking a stroll around the area after the screening!

Excellent film experience seeing Sirat. The sound system was really impressive keeping up with the dramatic and intense EDM score. A bit tricky to find in the large space that is Lincoln Center but the people working at other venues were very helpful. Will definitely be seeing more films here in the future. Looking forward to seeing the Diane Keaton tribute series.

The theatre - the films - the prices are all great here. Student discounts available. And there’s a great cafe with more than your average movie-going fare you can take in with you.

Definitely my favorite theater in NYC. Love the intimate seating large life like screen. Warm cozy atmosphere. Luce @ Cafe Paradiso is always welcoming friendly and such a wonderful personality as she serves some of the best treats in any theater anywhere in the city! The food is awesome and I love going there having lunch and seeing a great movie. My little sanctuary.

Excellent place for independent films from the USA and other parts of the world. The place is like new and very clean. The clientele is very educated. It also has a small bistro called Indie. It serves good lunches, wine and coffee.

Absolutely worth becoming a member at the Film Society if you're a movie lover in NYC. It's a great value on some of the best programming in the city, plus lots of great perks for members like early screenings with talent in attendance.

Always a marvelous experience. And, particularly for us each year, it’s about seeing Open Roads: New Italian Cinema, presented in conjunction with Cinecittà. For Italians living in the States; Italian-Americans fully immersed in their roots; or anyone interested in Italian cinema — current and past — it’s a must!

At NY Film Festival, they do not let latecomers in at all. Also not after an intermission for a Q&A with the film director. I bought the tickets, changed my work schedule completely, made a very long trip to the venue just to be not admitted on the grounds it's full, being 19 min late. At the time of purchase, the conditions allowing non-admittance are neither listed in any way, nor brought to attention, also are not in the confirmation email, which is illegal. The refund does not make up for my lost day.
