A great little cinema space connected to the Filmmuseum — perfect if you like arthouse films, retrospectives, or special screenings. The “Black Box” atmosphere is cozy and focused, with good sound and a classic small-theater feel. We dropped in while exploring the area and really liked how calm and well organized everything was. It’s a nice change from big commercial cinemas: more character, more curated programming, and a more “movie lover” vibe overall. Tip: check the schedule in advance because the screenings are often special events, and arrive a bit early if you want the best seats

I especially enjoyed the interactive section where you can try your hand at editing scenes and experimenting with effects. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are friendly and ready to answer questions. There could be a bit more multimedia content for younger visitors, but overall – a very fun and educational experience.

The museum is quite interactive so it's a good place to also go with children that are a bit older. Online it said the entrance fee was 5 euro, but when we went it was free.

Great place to visit with kids or without them. Recommend.

Went here with my parents when they visited my partner and I. They have been here in the city for the 3rd time so we were looking for places to visit aside from the popular tourist spots since they have seen it already. This museum is very informative and is highly recommended for photography and film enthusiasts. I used to do photography a lot and I was inspired to go back and do it as a hobby once again. Some displays are interactive which is nice so you get to try creating your own stop-motion film and green-screen motion. There are also a lot of vintage cameras, film posters and costumes. What a steal for 5€ museum ticket! In the 3rd floor, there is a huge movie set and a car which you can ride and take photos. We enjoyed it. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is to clean it more since some of the displays are dusty. Other than that, it is a must-see museum.

Very interesting look at film history in many areas of film making. From costumes and props to cameras and editing techniques, lots to see and learn about the history of cinema. Lift for wheelchair access and good space to move around inside. Some pieces hard to see for a wheelchair user but these are only a few out of the huge number of exhibits and displays.

It is an excellent museum which includes directing games, green screen, interactive screen. There are old movie customes, studios, cameras, posters and more. It took me about 2 hours to see entire museum.

Informative museum! This place has different sort of old filming techniques and gears such as cameras, projectors, and filming devices. It’s a must visit if you are into media. Or any sort of filmmaking. This is how the past was and it’s a great learning experience. The front desk is very friendly and they speak German as well as English. There is English shows during weekdays and weekends, and it’s more sort of streaming of old Classics. The show starts at eight or nine in the evening The student entry for the museum is €2.50 and the regular pricing is five euros.
