Really appreciate the gluten-free menu and vegan options. The food was good. The coffee was good. I’m not barista enough to say whether it was outstanding or just matching the expectations this place sets for itself. I enjoyed the visit, will for sure come again, but the place lacks just a bit of coziness and charme. It is nicely made and all, modern and hipster.

A really nice coffee and breakfast spot in Pisa. We had V60 and flat white, also indulged ourselves in delicious smoothie bowls. All in all, great stuff! Also, thoroughly enjoyed the location itself. The place is hip and modern, it feels good just to be there.

Tomate & cheese croissant was very flaky and tasty. They served in warm if you ask. My flat white was good - not bitter and taste the coffee. Staffs were friendly! I ordered a scrambled egg for my dog, he likes it very much!

Small connoisseur coffee joint in Pisa. It's got a good selection of pastries and vegan options. Needless to say the coffee is pretty good. The decor is rustic and I especially loved that they converted an antique door into a table. Definitely worth a visit after you are done checking out the leaning tower.

isited on Oct 9, 2025 — right after visiting Pisa. The cold brew was incredible, fruity and smooth. Carrot cake was just perfect too. Highly recommended! Back in Thailand now, but I still can’t forget that coffee. I’ll definitely come back again someday. ☕🇮🇹

I had a lovely visit to your café. The flavours were wonderful, the cappuccino and filter coffee were especially enjoyable, and the croissants were truly delightful. The staff were warm and welcoming, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. There was only one thing that made my stay less comfortable. During the hour I spent there, a group at a nearby table were speaking very loudly, with constant laughter and strong language. They did not appear to be having any food or drinks, yet the noise continued the entire time. It made it difficult to enjoy the calm moment I had hoped for. I would be happy to return because the service and food were excellent. I hope this small comment helps to keep the café as comfortable as it deserves to be.

A cozy spot with a great vibe — the matcha was perfectly balanced, and the raspberry cake was a real standout. Great place to unwind with quality coffee and desserts. It’s like a small escape room from the tourists everywhere

The food was incredible! So fresh! But I have to say, the coffee was something else! Great pour over, perfect cappuccino! As a Colombian I do enjoy a good cup of coffee and without doubt this was one of the best of my trip!

We dropped by to kill sometime before going on a free Pisa walking tour. The coffee shop was already busy and we were lucky to get a small table. There's also more seating outside the coffee shop. We got the pistachio croissant and a small cappuccino. The croissant was nice and pistachio cream filling inside was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed the cappuccino and I liked the flower latte art on top. Overall, lovely coffee shop and friendly staff. I would drop by again in the future.

Food was ok. Eggs do not taste like eggs. Running and almost mushy water. Order coffee and danish to keep it safe

The only bad part about this place was that it was pretty busy and no AC. We stopped by on our way back to the train station from visiting the leaning tower. They had some really good options for drinks and breakfast. Everyone food looked delicious and was also healthy. I had the chia pudding which I now crave and need to figure out how to recreate at home. It had some delicious fresh fruit on and crunch granola on top.

Good espresso but definitely on the pricier side (3.80 euro for a double shot). Smoked salmon and eggs were okay. Toast was very plain. Overall the food was decent but the vibes were not good. A lot of nomads / students (but likely nomads) working and they would glare at you if you were eating in front or near them. I guess this is a nomad heavy spot because certain seats would have a sign that says "no books or computers at this seat". I thought this was a cafe to eat food?? Did not feel welcome by the 75% taking up space in this cafe so I quickly ate my food and left.

Came to eat EGGS. Italy is not big on eggs mostly brioches and croissants for breakfast. Wanted something different. Place was crowded. Food was delicious. Cappuccino was amazing. Can't wait to return. Everything was delicious

This place is so cute and definitely American influenced. It's about a ten minute walk away from the leaning tower of Pisa. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating here. Also, a huge selection of baked goods, drinks, and breakfast. We were craving for an American style breakfast and this place definitely satisfied that! We ordered an ice coffee latte, chai latte, breakfast bagel, scrambled eggs and pancakes with fruit. The chai latte was just right in sweetness and had a strong tea flavor. The breakfast bagel included a sunny side egg, bacon, and avocado - which my boyfriend really enjoyed. The pancakes came with mixed berries and banana. Everything here was delicious and does not feel heavy on the stomach. And the portion sizes are just enough to fill you up.

Was a nice place and really like their cold brew coffee, cheesecake was also delicious. Different from all the other touristic restaurants/cafes. Was enjoying last afternoon in Italy. However a big disappointment happened when I accidentally walked passed by a table cramped within tight space near the counter with a lot of people queuing. The rough edge of that table which ripped the fabric of my skirt off.... Usually I'm not against this type of hipster furniture especially when made from some recycled materials. Although who would have thought this would happened..... I would suggest the owner perhaps improve the quality of furniture as it might occasionally cause some disappointment.

We were in Pisa for a day and found this gem!! People were so nice and the coffee was fabulous, We also grabbed a gluten free cookie that was delicious as well, when in Pisa go to filter!!

On the way to Pisa we stopped in , great place for breakfast and coffee , excellent service and don't forget to check out their outdoor courtyard!

Very cool American style coffee shop on the street to Tower of Pisa. As good as any other American craft coffee with a comfy setting, free wifi, and food and drink. Coffee was tasty but about 2 euro too much considering the sizes are minuscule. Think of it as a small at a Starbucks is a large here. Desserts were great as was the vibe of the place. Very hipster with air conditioning and plenty of chargers and seating. I would highly recommend Filter to anyone who happens to stop by to visit the tower. Great spot to feel at home again on an Italian adventure.

This is a great place to stop by on your way to the tower to grab a delicious and hearty yet healthy breakfast or a cup of tea or coffee... their vanilla lattes are so good! Spacious and modern interior decor. Lots of people seem to come though here as it was always busy. Friendly service and clean bathroom. Their pistachio cupcakes are to die for!!

Really REALLY nice little spot to grab a coffee and some brunch while in Pisa. More of a local college young person vibe. Very trendy and friendly staff and a great buzz around the place. Slightly pricey but as expected for a trendy young cafe. The coffee was worth it.

Filter coffee lab is a wonderful place to visit, the coffee is amazing and the food....yummy. I'm so glad we were roaming the streets and found this hip, unique, fun place. We visited twice in one day, after coming back for the soup of the day which was very yummy, I was a little full and didn't eat it all and the staff came and asked if anything was wrong and I replied no it was so good but I was to full to eat everything. I believe that is wonderful customer service thank you so much for our experience filter coffee lab, love your customers from California

Great place, but slightly overpriced! As I feel a lot of love for take away cups, it was easy for this place to win me over, but I gotta say: for Italian standards, the coffee is overpriced. Anyhow, coffee quality was exceeding any average Starbucks clone, so giving four stars was a no brained. You should give their bakery products a change as well, the brownies are outstanding!

Great coffee shop the baked good we're fabulous and so was the coffee.. beware it's a college kids favorite so if you looking to cozy up that won't happen you will be sharing tables with students which was fine with me!

The closest 3.0 coffee that I've been able to found in my one week trip in Italy. You can have your preferred coffee sited and/or have a breakfast or a lunch. Really popular.... could be really crowded at some moment.

Best Flat White coffee I've had so far in Italy. Pastry selection is good and the cafe is very chill full of students doing work on lap tops.

Perfect brunch for the whole family who loves American breakfast. Good service. Nice cosy room. Try the pancake with bacon and the milkshakes

Food at a reasonable price. It's very American with bagels and donuts but if you're in the mood for comfort breakfast food that tastes good then this is the place. This is the most Starbucks like place I've been to in Italy and it's right by the university so has plenty of college students.

fantastic service! Great food and coffee! People watching is good since it is by the university. Outdoor and indoor seating. Only 10 min from leaning tower. Winner!!
