Parking lot door security guard most unhelpful, claiming no information or knowledge of gallery contents or displays. As a potential guest, we departed your facility feeling unwelcome without any interest to return. Our door conversation with security immediately followed entrance of what appeared to be an elite guest exiting Mercedes 600 series. Left with only assumptions, we had arrived during an invitation-only event, or profiled in some fashion, or met by a guard who was, at best, dismissive by nature.

I attended a poetry reading at Filter Photo, in conjunction with the exhibit of photos by Arezou Mehrfar: three poets offering poems responding to specific photos. The photographer also discussed her work. It was a lovely presentation in an appealing space.

When I walked into the gallery, two images from Context 2019 jumped out at me... and when I stopped at the desk, I was introduced to one of the photographers of one of those images, who works at Latitude, the print studio that shares the space.
