Finca Casanga Farm - Coffee Tours

Since it's off-season right now, we were lucky to get a "private tour." You get a great insight into all steps of coffee production. From picking the fruit to the roasted coffee bean, you get to carry out each step yourself. Enrique was very friendly and explained everything in a very understandable way. At the end, several different methods of preparing coffee were tested and we even got to taste the famous Geisha coffee. Thanks for the great insight into the world of coffee.

This tour was fantastic! I generally avoid tours as it feels like the guide is just going through the motions. This was not the case, Alberto was enthusiastic, engaging and seemed to have as much fun as we did. Learned a lot about the humble bean and all the steps that happen long before it's roasted. Roasting itself was fun and you could see how much preference individuals have, followed by evaluating the different brewing methods. 10/10. Glad I booked a ride from town, I don't think my little rental car could have made it up the slopes. Bonus the ducks made for some fun and were still practical.

Highly recommend a coffee farm tour at Finca Casanga. Hands-on, small tour with Albert as our guide. Very informative and you are involved in all the processes to produce, harvest, wash, roast the coffee. The best part was seeing how taste is affected by 3 different ways to brew coffee. Very worthwhile. We were transported from the store in town to the farm by the owner who was very interesting to chat to. Go do it !!

Amazing experience, very well worth the money. Rick, the owner of the farm picked us up at their store in Boquete and also drove us back which i think is a great service which we really appreciated. We learned so much about coffee and were guided through the whole process and the highlight in the end is obviously roasting your own coffee and an extensive tasting including a cup of the world famous geisha coffee. I highly recommend a tour on this little finca as you can see and feel the love and effort the owners put into their activity at every step.

This experience was knowledgeable and so helpful to see just how much love and care they place into their coffee. The taste was delicious and this was the most unique coffee tour I have ever been on, including Hawaii and Thailand experiences. It’s definitely worth it to check it out.
