This was the Best tour I have ever been on! It was small, fun. so informative & so socially responsible. Amy is a gem! Fluent in English/Spanish, she knows her craft. The passion comes thru & the result is just fantastic. I am an avid coffee drinker & now. I intend to get really good at it. I also loved the flora, fruit trees, scenery & view from the tasting deck...just pure magic.

What a beautiful and brilliant experience. If you are looking for a coffee tour with an explanation from planting to harvesting and everything in between, look no further. Plus- there’s coffee tasting in the end. But the best thing is that with your money you’ll be helping the local community. Finca Los Jefes also has a project going on in a local school that is helping provide food to students. The geographical position of the place is amazing and the ethical ways they produce their company should be an example to other coffee producers not just in Panama, but around the world.

I chose to do this coffee tour a bit randomly as I found then on Google Map and they had tours starting a bit later than others at 2 pm, with transfer from Bajo Boquete provided of needed. I didn't have much expectations as I visited a coffee farm in Costa Rica before, but in the end I'm very glad I did this tour! The farm is small but the guide Amy was very nice and interesting. They are also working with local communities, which makes it even better to encourage. My only complaint is that we didn't see the cat! ^_^

Really informative coffee tour where you learn about every aspect of the coffee process from plant to cup. Amy was a great tour host, friendly, and super knowledgeable. And we loved hanging out and playing with the pack of dogs on the farm. During the tour you get to see and experience how the beans are harvested from the coffee plant and dried before roasting. At the end you get to sample the infamous geisha/gesha varietal as well as a medium and dark roast, plus try some tea made with the post-processed coffee shells that’s separated from the beans. Came to try some coffee, but left with an entire education! This tour will definitely change my coffee consumption and purchasing habits moving forward.

Our coffee tour at Finca Dos Jefes was absolutely outstanding and became one of the true highlights of our time in Boquete. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by authenticity, calm, and the deep passion that defines this beautiful farm. Our guide Richard was genuinely warm-hearted, welcoming, and incredibly easy to feel comfortable with right from the start. His friendly nature, combined with his impressive knowledge, made the entire experience not only informative but also truly enjoyable. He explained every step of the coffee-growing and processing journey in a way that was engaging, clear, and full of heartfelt enthusiasm. The atmosphere on the farm is peaceful and full of character, and being able to see sustainable practices up close was both inspiring and memorable. The tour ends with tasting coffees — a perfect finish to an already wonderful experience. If you’re visiting Boquete, don’t miss this tour. It’s warm, personal, and unforgettable — and Richard’s kindness made it truly special. Highly recommended!

Today we did a Coffee Tour at Finca de Jefes and it Was amazing! We learnt everything about the coffee making process, from planting to the final coffee bean. It is such a beautiful place and we even had a coffee tasting at the end. If you are in Boquete you have to visit this place, otherwise you will be missing out! Thank you guys for your time and showing us everything! Bonus: we were allowed to pick up fresh Limes and Oranges from the tree😍

Best coffee tour I've taken. Amy taught us so much about coffee, from plant to cup. Very cool sustainable and ethical farm. We got to try cascara tea and gesha coffee. Loved to see they give back to the community.

I had the pleasure of taking a coffee tour with Amy, and it was an unforgettable experience. She explained the entire production process, emphasized the importance of sustainable practices, and highlighted how our coffee choices impact local communities involved in coffee farming. The coffee tasting was exceptional, with selections tailored to our group’s preferences. We sampled a dark roast, medium roast, Gesha, and even cascara tea. I learned so much during the tour—Amy’s knowledge and passion for coffee are truly inspiring. What impressed me most is the company’s commitment to sustainability. They give back to the indigenous community, ensure proper wages, and provide good living conditions for their workers. This tour was definitely a highlight of my trip, and I highly recommend it to any coffee enthusiast!
