Best place in Boquete to get insights in the coffee business. Amy was just awesome and provided lots of information related to grow and process coffee. We had an absolute blast and can highly recommend. All grown organically applying permacultural techniques (agro forestry, animals). They are producing top quality coffee with social responsibility (they support the local indigenous tribes in multiple ways).

This was the Best tour I have ever been on! It was small, fun. so informative & so socially responsible. Amy is a gem! Fluent in English/Spanish, she knows her craft. The passion comes thru & the result is just fantastic. I am an avid coffee drinker & now. I intend to get really good at it. I also loved the flora, fruit trees, scenery & view from the tasting deck...just pure magic.

Such a fun and informative tour through a romantic coffee farm. All steps of the coffee process were explained and we learn a lot about the global coffee industry too. What impressed us most was the fair social and environmental approach of the farm. Trying different coffees at the end made this a really cool and enjoyable experience.

Incredibly thorough explanation of the coffee process, from plants to processing to politics surrounding the coffee market, Amy was a very informed tour guide & her passion was apparent. The farm is beautiful & having been on other tours, I’d highly recommend this farm. Their focus on social justice is also highlighted during the tour.

What a beautiful and brilliant experience. If you are looking for a coffee tour with an explanation from planting to harvesting and everything in between, look no further. Plus- there’s coffee tasting in the end. But the best thing is that with your money you’ll be helping the local community. Finca Los Jefes also has a project going on in a local school that is helping provide food to students. The geographical position of the place is amazing and the ethical ways they produce their company should be an example to other coffee producers not just in Panama, but around the world.

Really informative coffee tour where you learn about every aspect of the coffee process from plant to cup. Amy was a great tour host, friendly, and super knowledgeable. And we loved hanging out and playing with the pack of dogs on the farm. During the tour you get to see and experience how the beans are harvested from the coffee plant and dried before roasting. At the end you get to sample the infamous geisha/gesha varietal as well as a medium and dark roast, plus try some tea made with the post-processed coffee shells that’s separated from the beans. Came to try some coffee, but left with an entire education! This tour will definitely change my coffee consumption and purchasing habits moving forward.

The coffee tasting was exceptional, with selections tailored to our group’s preferences. We sampled a dark roast, medium roast, Gesha, and even cascara tea. I learned so much during the tour—Amy’s knowledge and passion for coffee are truly inspiring. What impressed me most is the company’s commitment to sustainability. They give back to the indigenous community, ensure proper wages, and provide good living conditions for their workers. This tour was definitely a highlight of my trip, and I highly recommend it to any coffee enthusiast!
