Absolutely magical stay at Finca Malvasia in May this year. From the moment we arrived we felt our cortisol levels drop - it’s simply the most calm and restorative setting with dramatic views over the vines to the volcanic mountainscape and luxurious interiors. Absolutely stunning property with beautiful pool and gardens. Our two year old was happy to potter around playing with his trucks in the pebbles and slept so well it was a miracle. We indulged in a massage and reflexology from the wonderful Jill- a perfect end to the most relaxing trip. Lanzarote itself is a real gem if you like getting out and exploring- we took the tips from hosts Richard and Tarnya which were spot on and really enjoyed the variety of beaches especially and some amazing food. Was very hard to leave! Thank you to all the team for this gem of a place you have created, the work you have put in is very obvious and we wish you all the success! Thank you! 🙏🏼

We spent a tranquil week in this stunning location. The finca is set in the midst of vineyards and offers seclusion and tranquillity. The house is meticulously maintained and everything is perfectly organised. Every morning we woke up to the soothing cooing of the turtlrdoves, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. Our neighbours were quiet and respectful. This added to the overall experience. If we were ever to come back to the island, we would love to stay at this finca again. Thank you to Tarnya and Richard for making us feel so welcome.

We (two grown-ups, two young children) stayed here in late March 2023. A 15 minute drive from the airport finds yourself in the middle of a stunning black volcanic landscape which we later discovered was a working vineyard. Finca Malvasia appears from nowhere, beautiful white buildings, lovely pools and incredible views. Our two bed apartment was perfect, comfortable and spacious. The whole place has a wonderfully relaxed vibe, with just a handful of rooms it is never busy, or noisy. With this a base everything on the island is a short drive (yes, you really need a car). Tarnya and Richard (the owners) have created something really special here. If you need anything, or just advice on which beach or restaurant to visit next then they're very happy to help. Always available, never intrusive. Lanzarote is a beautiful island and Finca Malvasia is the perfect location from which to explore. We will definitely be coming back!||[For the technically minded each room has a dedicated WiFi router, which didn't dip below 25mbps. Easily enough for Zoom/Teams work calls (remember to switch off your background to avoid jealousy). Netflix, Amazon Prime and Plex worked perfectly from the smart TV and also laptops and tablets. Finally, the 4G service was also good (18-50mbps)]

We had a fantastic 2 week stay at Finca Malvasia with our teenage son and we all really loved everything about it. It’s such a stunning oasis in the most beautiful part of the island! It was perfectly located for travelling to all over the island where there is so much to see and do….but each day we loved returning to the Finca and it’s stunning pool! The property manager, Laura, is fantastic if you have any queries while there and the owners (who are lovely and have great tips for restaurants etc) pop by every few days. We’d totally recommend a stay at Finca Malvasia!

We had a fabulous stay at Finca Malvasia in La Bodega, which was comfortable, spacious and very relaxing. The view over the vineyard towards the volcanoes was one I will always remember. We especially liked the Cesar Manrique aesthetic of the pool and BBQ area. The finca itself is quiet and calm and it was hard to tear yourself away to go to the beach and visit the sights. Tayna and Richard gave us great tips on where to eat and the best places to swim, which were invaluable. We highly recommend Emmax in Playa Honda and El Tenique in Tiagua. The finca is well placed to go to the wilder north, and visit the incredible volcanoes and beaches in the south; nothing is very far (by car). We especially enjoyed a trip to Haria and the nearby playa de los caletones. If you're thinking of going to Lanzarote you won't find a better place to stay than this!

Malvasia is beautifully situated in the heart of Lanzarote's wine region, an ideal base for exploring this amazing island. We spent 14 days here and felt very comfortable. The finca is tastefully furnished, everything, including the outdoor facilities and the pool, is well-kept and just beautiful. A charming place to relax, it's peaceful and quiet. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! We would love to come back and recommend Malvasia unreservedly.

We travelled with two children and enjoyed this little paradise between the vineyards a lot. Everything is very clear and all went smoothly. The owners are very reactive and the interior as well as the exterior setting is lovely. We absolutely recommend to discover the island and stay at the finca.

Finca Malvasia is an amazing location to stay in the volcanic vineyards of Lanzarote. It is easy to get to from the airport by car and you can get to all coasts of the island within 45 minutes meaning that you can experience all you would like to. The location is remote and very peaceful but the local facilities in Tias are nearby, with restaurants and supermarkets for all you might need. The holiday homes have great facilities with a hob and microwave for cooking with utensils to allow you to cook what you want. There is also a communal barbecue near the pool. Our internet dropped out while we stayed here but that was useful to help us switch off. We found the weather to be very different to that on the coast (May 2023) with a bit more cloud. The pool isn't heated which made it more of a place to cool down after a busy day than somewhere to spend the day for itself.
