Finca Valentina, Salta, Argentina - Explore & Book

"It was Fabrizio who fell in love with the Argentine northwest first. He’s so passionate about the beauty of the dazzling high altitude plains of the Puna that he left Italy and started a small company taking guests up across the salt lakes and into the sculptural desert of the Andes beyond. He then wooed Valentina away from designing Chelsea interiors, and together the Italian couple have created a beautiful little country house with some very chic rooms in the main house, as well as a charming cottage and a villa in the grounds. All buildings sit in a lush garden fringed by distant mountains. Valentina has brought light and space to traditional Salteño style, combining white walls and lofty ceilings with classical modernist hallmarks: a whole wall of paned glass in the dining room, a soaring minimalist fireplace and a stunning swimming pool. Mid-century modern classics are everywhere, but so are antique chairs, and the hall is hung with ancient woven ponchos. The result is delightfully crisp and airy, but you know you’re in Salta. All bedrooms mix high-end comfort with vintage finds, while the bathrooms are gorgeous little havens. And to top it off, the food is superb. Highs Beautifully designed - rare for Salta - and yet excellent value for money Personalised service: this is a small place so you create the schedule A great base, and really excellent activities on offer: Fabrizio knows the area intimately, and takes visitors to the wildest parts of the northwest, as well as conventional tours to Cachi and Cafayate Great location: really handy for Salta city (you will need to get a taxi to and from if without a car) and Salta airport (10 minutes’ drive, with free transfers) Lows Service is relaxed: don’t expect city speed or efficiency Some of the Standard Rooms and the Villa Deluxe are more recent additions and we haven't had the chance to view them yet There's only one other restaurant within walking distance at a nearby hotel - House of Jasmines" - Christabelle Dilks

Finca Valentina is 18km from the centre of Salta. It's location is ideal if you want to get to Salta Airport or are arriving late from the airport. It is 8km from the airport or a fifteen minute drive away.||The hotel is set in countryside and is quiet and tranquil with lovely, well-kept gardens, including a small swimming pool.||We stayed here twice, once when we had flown in from the Iguazu Falls and once when we were on our way to Patagonia via Buenos Aires.||The room that we stayed in was comfortable and a good size with an entrance hall, bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The floors are stone, which are cool in late Spring when we visited. ||The wifi sometimes did not reach the bedroom, however it did reach the entrance hall or the nice patio we had at the front of the room.||The bed was comfortable. There were enough customer accessible sockets for charging devices.||There are not a lot of restaurants close by so we ate dinner one night. There is a set menu and you need to book the time you want to eat.||Breakfast is good and there are the usual items you would expect. Unlike many hotels in Argentina, they do know what an espresso is and the coffee was good.||We had an early departure for our flight to Patagonia and they provided a breakfast for us to eat before we left.||The staff are friendly and helpful.||This is a small hotel, more a guest house. I would recommend it for a short stay, where you are looking for peace and quiet and easy access to Salta airport.

From the moment you enter this boutique style hotel, you will feel relaxed and at home.|The common parts of the hotel are very warm, and the rooms themselves are beautifully designed, with everything you would expect at a top hotel.|Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was above-average.|The swimming pool area is very cozy and the grounds at the hotel are well cared for. |Wished we had stayed longer

We stayed here as our first stop in salta. It was the needed respite we needed after a busy first week of our touring. We stayed in the family villa that had more that enough room for our family of 4. We enjoyed spending the afternoon by the pool sipping wine. We decided to eat at the property and it was one of the best meals we had in Argentina—and we had some amazing food in Argentina. My daughter is a vegetarian and the invited her into the kitchen so she could choose ingredients for what they would make her.

This charming little hotel (or B&B, as I’d call it) is conveniently located just outside Salta, making it ideal for easy access to the airport—our main reason for staying. Despite its proximity, it was peaceful and a great place to relax, with a small pool perfect for cooling off in the warm afternoons.||The rooms were comfortable, and we had dinner at the hotel. Since we were the only guests that night, we could choose our preferred dining time. We had an early start at 6 AM, and the staff kindly prepared coffee and cakes for us before we left, which was a lovely touch.||Overall, a short but pleasant stay

Beautiful!!! We can’t wait to stay here again! We stayed for a few days while we explored Salta and surrounding sites. The property is beautiful, the nature, buildings, decor, etc. and we saw the most beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed late mornings, the most delicious breakfasts and dinners, lounging poolside, quiet moments and meeting other friendly guests. The rooms are beautiful and we were so grateful for time away from TVs and more time in nature.

This was an utterly wonderful hotel, just outside Salta, in beautiful grounds. We loved it. Large, comfortable room with a beautiful view of the gardens from our large terrace. Excellent, delicious, dinner. And fabulous staff, so friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem.

The best accommodation near the airport of Salta. Romantic, quiet, comfortable, pretty pool area & okay food. As it is far from the village you have to more or less eat and drink here. Which is fine for 2 days, but there is a pizzeria El Jardin de las Pizzas not too far with good food and very nice waiters. We slept next to the kitchen that caused some noise of course (room 1) We had the most wonderful massage by Mariela (?) - perfect!
