Really nice place up in Findeln with a beautiful mountain view. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly, and everything feels welcoming. Great spot to take a break during a hike or just enjoy the view with something sweet. Big thanks to the staff for waiting a little past closing time for me. Really appreciated the kindness and warm service. Friendly people, great vibe. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Zermatt. Thank you Zohra !

Unfortunately we did not get a chance to eat here as we already had lunch but we did stop to have cocktails before the hike back down to Zermatt. We had the peppermint spritz and the rhubarb spritz and they were both delicious. The staff were extremely friendly.

The food and views are amazing here. However, the food is prepared ahead of time, which means there are very limited options for those with food allergies. The service was not great, though. Not enough staff for the number of tables, and they even had another group seated at the same table as us. The food came promptly, but we had to ask for the bill twice, and we waited 25 minutes for the bill to arrive. All together, probably worth the long walk to get here, but if you're not up for a long climb, the food closer to the lift stations is perfectly acceptable.

This is a must if you’re skiing Zermatt! Make sure to make a reservation and hope to catch it on a nice day because the views and food combined are the most elite experience one could ask for. Everything we ate and drank was beyond delicious and all on a sunny day on the side of the mountain with views of the Matterhorn. Staff was friendly, menu had a lot of variety, and vibes are unbeatable. Would definitely recommend this over or instead of Chez Vrony if you’re having difficulty with reservations!!

Okay what to say about this restaurant that hasn't been said before. Number one either have to walk or ski to get there. Amble down a narrow path to enter a otherworldly beautiful restaurant with a equally gorgeous vista of the matter horn. Definitely need reservations and sunscreen. We had a couple of delicious meals and a small bottle of wine. The service was nice and attentive but not intrusive and young.

We had the rosti, it was very very good. We also liked that they had a lot of non-alcoholic drinks including beer and sparking wine as well as decaf coffee. Sorry folks us healthy Californians ruining the Swiss tradition. Great view.

"It's my first time visiting Zermatt, and there are many memorable stories. Findlerhof is a place that I really like. The journey there may take time and require a lot of walking, but the cool weather makes it comfortable. Upon arrival, the fatigue disappears. The view is beautiful, the sky is clear, and I can see the mountain peaks. Amazing food and very friendly staffs! it’s just a place you can’t miss!!!

If you are on the Zermatt Mountain skiing, hit this place for lunch! Get your reservations in for this place ask for a table outside on the high deck in the back, you get a great view. Crazy good food! We had the Truffelravioli for an appetizer, wonderful. I tried the Swiss Premium Spareribs, wow, good choice!!! We also tried the Rosti und Speck and Ei with bacon also very good! This place is AMAZING!! I had the Gorgonzola pasta and it was incredible. My friend had the rosti and said it was the best he has ever had. The view is also incredible. Once you make it here you are rewarded with an awesome view and vibe. Chez Vrony is nearby and is really good too but has a much nicer/fancier vibe--this felt more authentic and was much more fun in my opinion

We had a great lunch here earlier this season. My son had the beef medallions and I had the matterkuchen which was the most amazing quiche and salad combo I have had. Findlen is a cute village on the mountain and worth visiting

What a place to eat, let me tell you. Elvira was friendly, inviting and very helpful from start to finish. After a day hike, we came down and decided to eat here instead of the other restaurants on the mountain. We were NOT disappointed in the slightest. We enjoyed one the best meals we have ever eaten, in a setting that is unmatched, with the view that is beyond words. Thank you, Findlerhof.

Definitely not easy to find! Beautiful day sat outside. Lamb shanks were the best! Also risotto. Waitress was very nice as the rest of staff. Breathtaking views. Our first day skiing and this was just what we needed!

Nice located family restaurant in Findeln. Busy in summer and winter. At 14:00 had to wait a while for a table so guess a reservation would be a good idea next time. The restaurant was busy and the staff level was not right and everyone was busy. Biggest complaint was waiting 20+ mins to pay when we were ready to go. The quiche was excellent and u would have it again if I went back. My friend had the meat and cheese plate which was ok but was just one cheese and meat and a variety would have been better though went down well. I would certainly visit again

This place is NOT easy to get to nor find! But once you get there, you will be rewarded with the best meal ever in Zermatt! The food is hearty and tasty! We saw numerous plates of rosti go out, but we stuck to pasta and lamb. The trio pasta included a penne, a spaghetti, and a large ravioli--all with different sauces. It was sublime. The Spaghetti al Patrone had spinach and shrimp scampi. This was probably the BEST dish. Ever. It was so tasty! The penne arrabbiata was the perfect spiciness. We definitely will try to get back to the Findlerhof on our next visit to Zermatt.

Skied most of the day and had a 2:15 reservation at Findlerhof which was perfect. It was just becoming a bit less busy (though still full). We had a great table with a direct view of the Matterhorn. We all had pasta which was really good. And apple cobbler dessert. The restaurant is located in a tiny mountain village. Great experience skiing into it and out of it. Highly recommend (and highly recommend getting an advance reservation).

Very nice place on the slopes for a delicious lunch, super friendly staff and reservations are managed well.
