Property is always so well kept and looking forward to all the new construction (bigger waterpark). ||||||Front Desk||Nicole - amazing and helpful from beginning to the end.||Estephany - she did an amazing job while covering for Rosaura.||Rosaura - I have no words to describe the type of service we have always received from Rosa since our first trip in 2022/2024/2025. Great asset to Excellence Group of Hotels. ||Rafael - Very enthusiastic and great person to see when we first arrived and when we did our check out. It was smooth. ||||Spa||Julia - She is a great person and always helpful when we needed to distress she would offer the options best suited for my wife and I. ||Dalexis - My Wife really enjoys this masseuse and she is very careful with my Wife. ||||SweetCorner||Amber- Has a great smile and always was helpful when I was looking for honey lemon and ginger tea. She made it always to my liking. ||Flor - Always a smile and very much kind when asking for our mocktails. ||Rafaela - She always has a nice smile for us each day we went, and she would always get us warm milk for my youngest for bedtime. She makes a great regular Macchiato for me daily.||||Waiter||Juan - He was our waiter at Marketplace kn 2024 and say we didnt see him enough in our 2025 as he was on vacation. ||Jorge Miguel - He is always kind-hearted since the first day we met in 2024 and was happy to see him in 2025. He is a great resource to Excellence.||Confesora- She always ensured our reservation at each restaurant was good and the chef took care of us.||Claudia - We met her for first time but she left a lasting impression.||Maria - We met her on our last trip in 2024 and met her again in 2025 and she remembered us and showed the same kindness as before.||||Marketplace||Robinson - Wearing the Red Chef coat was always a delight and got our omelettes always perfect since our stays in 2022/2024/2025.

Disappointed Stay – Left Early for Hard Rock We booked a week at Finest Punta Cana (Sept 20–28) to celebrate my 40th birthday, but unfortunately left early on the 23rd. We had high expectations based on the branding and reviews, but the reality fell far short. The biggest issue was the food quality. Whether room service, the Marketplace, or sit-down restaurants, the meals consistently tasted stale or old. This was a daily frustration, and not what we expected from a resort of this caliber. The beach experience was also uncomfortable. We were approached by persistent solicitors asking for money, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the setting. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt pressured and uneasy. Overall, the resort didn’t deliver the luxury or hospitality we were promised. Out of frustration, we checked out early and rebooked at Hard Rock Punta Cana, where the difference was immediate — the food quality was excellent and the beach atmosphere was far more enjoyable and relaxing. While the staff at Finest were polite, the overall product is not worth the premium price. I hope management takes steps to address food standards and improve the guest beach experience. Sadly, for such an important trip, we felt disappointed rather than celebrated.

Amazing resort! Beautiful grounds, delicious food, and outstanding service all around. Thank you to Rosaura, Ronicet, Alexa & Ramon at the pool bar, Rauilin at the main pool, Aurelio at the lobby bar, the kids club team (especially Tania), and our wonderful waitress Yeralin. Everyone went above and beyond — they even surprised me with a birthday cake! Truly a 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to come back and highly recommend

This place is fantastic. Worth the money and honestly budget friendly for all the things you get. Javier was amazing with the entertainment and pool side activities. Keury was a very patient tennis instructor. Wilton was great with the drinks and Yoan was top tier service. Definitely returning.

We stayed at Finest in Mexico in 2023 and it was a flawless 10/10 experience. That trip set the bar high in terms of service, hygiene, and overall quality. This year (Sept 29–Oct 4, 2025), we decided to try Finest Punta Cana, traveling with our two young daughters (1.5 and 4 years old). Sadly, this turned out to be the worst resort experience we’ve ever had.||||Major Issues:||||Room bait-and-switch – We paid for a private pool room but were told at check-in that it wasn’t available. We were placed in a swim-up instead with the promise of moving the next day. The following day, we were given a completely different room, and staff claimed the building we originally booked was “under construction.” This wasn’t true, as we saw families using those very rooms.||||Constant construction noise – Loud drilling throughout our stay completely ruined the relaxing atmosphere we paid for.||||Housekeeping failures – Towels and robes were not restocked, our room phone didn’t work, and overall maintenance was poor.||||Terrible service – The concierge rarely answered, and when they did, we were placed on hold. Room service food took 1.5 hours to arrive, and overall service across the resort was painfully slow.||||Unhygienic pools – Several pools were not clean, which is unacceptable at a so-called 5-star property.||||Food quality – The food was absolutely horrible for a “luxury” resort. Bland, low-quality, and nowhere near what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Compared to Finest Mexico, the difference was shocking.||||||Final Thoughts:||||We came here expecting a 5-star family-friendly experience under the Finest brand. Instead, we faced broken promises, poor hygiene, terrible food, slow service, and constant disruptions. With young children, we needed reliability and quality—this resort delivered neither.||||We will never return to Finest Punta Cana and strongly advise others to think twice before booking. If you’ve been to Finest Mexico, don’t expect anything close here—the difference is night and day.||||

This is such a lovely property. Its so elegant and so much space to do so many things. This place is for sure a come back. Every staff that we came in contact with were so friendly and everyone was all smiles all the time! We never went without anything our entire stay here. Im pregnant and everyone was so careful to make sure i was accommodated correctly! I appreciate that so much. We immediately came home and told our family that we should do a family trip here again next year. I could not get enough pictures to truly tell you how amazing this property is. Also we did our maternity photoshoot here and the pictures came out AMAZING!!! The guys who photographed us did such a good job and were so nice and helpful with posing!

My trip is still in progress but I can say even with the rain here and there this place is amazing! Everyone is so nice and helpful!! Most importantly I came here to say the waitress ALTAGRACIA is PHENOMENAL!!! She is everything and anything I could ask for in a waitress thoughtful, super sweet and just lovely !! The bartender in the excellence lounge is also amazing !!!! Or “soooo good!” As he would say lol. Great time great people and great food. 🫶🏼 Edit : Ronny is the name of the bartender and he is “soooo good “ 🫶🏼 and Marcelo at check in sooo thoughtful ! Everyone is amazing food is delicious

A Dream Come True – The Best Family Experience at Finest Excellence Punta Cana We are currently staying at Finest Excellence Punta Cana, and I couldn't wait until the end of our trip to write this review — that's how amazing our experience has been! We are a family group of 8, reunited after 8 years apart, and choosing this hotel for such a special occasion was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with our rooms ready and everything perfectly prepared for us. The entire facility is spotless, and the subtle scent of bergamot throughout the resort adds a luxurious, calming touch. We enjoyed the included hydrotherapy session at the spa, and it was incredibly relaxing 30 minutes of pure bliss! The spa is truly a sanctuary. The food is simply outstanding. We have tried The Brass, Dommo, and the main buffet so far and every single meal is delicious with an impressive variety. We didn’t have a single complaint, just compliments all around. But what truly has made this trip unforgettable is the incredible service and staff. They’ve made us feel so special and cared for. A few standouts who deserve special recognition: Wilson at the Excellence Club Bar, who made the best drinks, my husband loves the gin tonic! The entertainment team — Jeremi, Araceli, and July — who constantly checked in on us and kept us laughing and entertained. Lalena at the buffet ensured every request was met (and more). She is the number one, thank you Lalena!!! Wadi, in charge of the Dommo restaurant provided top-tier service and attention that left us speechless. Oscar Gutierrez, the main chef, always checking on ous, we loved the tacos he sent us. Ivan, Oleybis, Yanisa, and Cristian were always going above and beyond with warm, attentive service. We felt so well taken care of during our stay. One example that stood out was when we mentioned wanting fresh fried fish — the staff went above and beyond to make it happen. They even coordinated with the closest hotel to get the fish and prepared it specially for us the next day. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our experience unforgettable My grandmother had the time of her life — she absolutely adored everyone and felt so loved and pampered throughout the stay. We’re beyond grateful for this experience. The entire team made our family reunion feel even more meaningful. There are more names we wish we could remember, but please know how thankful we are to everyone at Finest Punta Cana. We are already planning our return. Thank you for giving us the best family trip of our lives!
