We just got back from The Finest Punta Cana and had the best time! We went on a big family trip—19 of us total, including kids—and the resort was honestly perfect for a group like ours.||First of all, the resort is gorgeous. Everything was super clean, modern, and easy to get around. It’s definitely family-friendly but still feels relaxing and upscale, which is hard to pull off.||The food was pretty much what you’d expect from an all-inclusive—some meals were just okay, but we had some great ones too. Our group loved the teppanyaki dinner at Shoji (so fun!), and The Melting Pot was perfect for a big family-style meal. We also had a really fun night at Lizzo, the Mexican spot—great food and such a good vibe.||I have to give major credit to the resort for how well they handled our giant party. We were able to make dinner reservations for all 19 of us multiple times with no drama, which honestly felt like a miracle with that many people.||The staff was truly the highlight, especially when it came to our toddler. Everyone was so sweet to him, but Javier from the entertainment team really stood out. He was full of positive energy, always checking in, and my toddler adored him. Total gem of a human.||And we had a little daily ritual going to the Sweet Corner for coffee and treats. It became our favorite little stop, and the staff there—especially Rafael—were just the best. Super friendly and always made us feel welcome.||All in all, it was such a great trip. The resort made traveling with a big group (and toddler) way easier than I expected, and we’d definitely go back.

We had a great stay at the finest! The grounds are stunning and the staff was AMAZING. Javier treated us like family and went above and beyond to celebrate our little nieces birthday. We also were able to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday as well with cake, champagne, and song. 10/10 would come back to finest again. Katheri at the bar was incredibly sweet and attentive all week and Oxucan (sp?) at the family pool was so friendly and helpful and always brought us what we asked for with a smile on his face. I loved this resort so much. Food was good, service was only an issue a couple nights but because they were super busy so we understood and everyone was always very apologetic. Our room was lovely and comfy and housekeeping did a great job keeping us stocked on water and fresh towels. We paid for the upgraded area of the resort and though we didn’t use as much bc our family didn’t, I loved everything about it. The extra restaurants and private beach access and pool access was awesome when we did use it.

Overall really enjoyed my stay! Beautiful resort with many restaurants to try. The hibachi dinner experience was my favorite. I loved having access to the adults only pool area which was separate from the kids/family friendly pool areas. As well as having the large beach with plenty of space to relax by the water. It never felt crowded there. ||The night events were entertaining. And the service at the main lobby bar was excellent. Shout out to the bartender Franci for providing a great service, fun experience and of course great drinks!||The only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because my family had a few encounters with a worker at one of the food trucks that was not kind when serving us. But other than that, the staff at the resort were kind and welcoming. Would definitely return again!

Javier from entertainment was the absolute best! He made our stay so much more enjoyable and we had so much fun with him. He was so personable, kind, fun and energetic. He is Finest best employee hands down. His energy is unmatchable and we enjoyed every second with him. I’m gonna miss him!

I have no idea how this resort has 5 stars. The only thing 5/5 at this resort is the landscaping. The room was spacious and decent but did not feel clean. The grout is so dirty in the bathrooms, we had ants in various locations in our room (we told housekeeping and they did nothing), other rooms had them too so we didn’t even bother requesting to move. The tiles at our swim up pool were all falling off, large gaps in the tile/grout (1/2 in +), our hammock was ripped and not replaced until day 3. The food was mediocre at best. My husband and I both continuously had diarrhea the entire stay. Multiple people in our group also had it. The excursion sales person was very misleading. The 7 in 1 adventure excursion was 2.5 hours late getting us back to the resort and the Catamaran was not at all what was explained to us, the “dolphins” are literally in fences. Do NOT recommend, and we will NOT be back. We were originally supposed to stay for 8 days and I am so glad we were only there for 4! BEWARE!

We so enjoyed our stay at the finest in Punta Cana. We've been there now twice and would certainly go again. This is the perfect resort if you're a family with small children. We consistently felt pampered by the Oasis bar team. Ramon made delicious drinks and was always available for a good recommendation. Juan Carlos and Cassandra gave terrific service and even cut the coconut meat out of my coconut shell to make a delicious treat. Our morning coffees prepared by Joanna and Amber were delicious. You'll have to try the after 8:00 specialty coffee. At night their ice cream was delicious! The evening service of the restaurants was second to none. Our servers, Bryan, Edward, and Francesca were kind and very attentive. They even made a special cake for my daughter's birthday and brought the whole crew out to sing. What a treat! Thank you, Finest team, for a vacation to remember.

We LOVE the finest resort. We recently came for our second stay. We have a 15 month old daughter, and the amenities for kids are fantastic. There are many playgrounds, a splash pad, kid pool with mini-blob, and a much larger ‘big kid’ pool with a large blob for the kids to climb up/jump off. If you are traveling with little ones, they will also supply you with a pack and play, monitor, kettle (to warm formula), bottle sterilizer, and baby bathtub. Super helpful to not need to lug all of those things everywhere. There are a few staff members I would like to acknowledge for their fantastic service. In the finest pool area, we had AMAZING service from Juan Carlos. I still don’t know how that man manages to be everywhere at once, but he constantly checked in on us to make sure we had food, drinks, and water for our little one. In the finest club (bar area), we had the pleasure of being served by Albert almost every night of our stay. Aside from making fantastic cocktails (even when there were lots of people ordering drinks), he was fun to chat with each evening. I could go on and on about all the great experiences we have had at finest - but if you are on the fence about going, this is your sign to do it. Highly recommend upgrading to a ‘finest club’ room so you have the opportunity to be served by Albert or Juan Carlos!

Finest Punta Cana is the first all-inclusive I've been to, and I think it was a good representation of the experience. While I wasn't the most impressed, this property is worth checking out if you're looking for a highly elevated option that won't rob you of your bank account. My check-in experience was almost great, but a big confusion about my room type did not leave a positive feeling going into my vacation. My room was delightful, but my phone couldn't reach room service or my message box, and there was no recourse there. I was expecting information for my check-out but never received it. I was also expecting some upgraded room amenities (like the better minibar and welcome champagne) but never got them even though I had booked a Diamond perk rate (highest loyalty level, courtesy of the folks I was joining on this trip). The food at this resort is good, but not great. I had a sad looking steak on night one, but the "wok show" and breakfast at Gusto were some highlights. All our servers were excellent and extremely personable! I grabbed a last minute booking for the spa on my last day, and my masseuse, Oscar, did an excellent job and left me wishing I had more days to come back! The Excellence club (adults only) is certainly a nice perk and the resort-within-a-resort concept is executed well here. I would still love to come back and try Finest again for a longer duration.
