Finger Wharf

Certainly, worth a visit when in the Sydney CBD area. it is ideal for a walk to / from the Botanical Gardens and once there - there are plenty of lovely restaurants from which to enjoy lunch by the harbour.

Definately a must do and see while in Sydney. Perfect for a walk along the dock or sitting down for a relaxing bite to eat at the many vendors at this spot.

A cute place for a sunset drink, bite or a walk down the long jetty. Relaxed atmosphere nice selection of little bars and restaurants to choose from. A nice quiet place away from the mayhem to relax at the end of the day.

Great apartment, close to everything, pubs and restaurants. Easy walks. Great night at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday, to see Ten Tenors, what a wonderful time we had, singing along. Loved it. Thanks.❤

Located at 6 Cowper Wharf Roadway, Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is such a wonderful and historic place to come, even if it’s just for a walk. I have been several times now and have always enjoyed returning. The views are fantastic with the Naval Facilities on Garden Island on one side and the Gardens and homes on the other. The sculptures along the boardwalk and inside the wharf help to make the visit even better. I love to come just for the sculptures sometimes. It’s great to just wander from one sculpture to another and just look and appreciate each one. If you wanted to you could enjoy a walk from the wharf around to Mrs Macquaries Chair, The Domain, The Botanical Gardens , The Opera House and beyond. The wharf has several renowned restaurants if you wanted to dine there including OTTO Ristorante, China Doll and more. There’s also the Ovolo Hotel where you can actually stay in the wharf. The Wharf is also Heritage Listed and was a former passenger terminal where it acted as a staging point for troop deployment to the World Wars as well as a disembarking point for migrants to Australia 🇦🇺. It was also a wharf where it mainly handled the export of wool. It was built from 1910-1915 by the Sydney Harbour Trust and designed by Henry D. Walsh. The property is now owned by Transport For NSW and the structure is the longest timbered-piled wharf in the world 🌎. Today, as well as the restaurants and the hotel, the wharf also has residential apartments. It’s a really upscale area now, very expensive to live and the restaurants are quite pricy. Saying this, it’s very nice. I really like it. There is parking 🅿️ but if busy, can fill quick. Or you can get a bus 🚌. I would definitely recommend a visit. A Thumbs Up from me! 👍👍👍

Such a beautiful place for a Sunday stroll. One side you enjoy the harbour & domain (be careful using the heritage stone steps though, remember their age), and views, & on the other side you have the harbour, amazing restaurants and views. There's also a free art trail to enjoy. Definitely one of my favourite places in Sydney

The historic wharf has been preserved and converted into a hotel and eating precinct, with many top options for fine dining. The wharf houses both the Ovolo Hotel and residences. There are sculptures along the boardwalk as well as inside the wharf that are accessible to the public. The historic features have been preserved and the wharf’s history is on display and also explained via images and text through. Lovely space
