We were supposed to stay at a different Guesthouse but we found bed bugs and cockroaches so we had to find a different place late at night. Thankfully Kathy from Finna Hotel helped us out, because we almost spent the night in the car. We are so grateful and pleasantly surprised that we found Finna Hotel, because we had a great night there. Thank you for the hospitality and kindness to help us out. The room was very clean and smelled fresh, we had a good view on the bay.

We stayed for five nights at Finna Hotel in September. We were visiting Hólmavík specifically to go out on daily whale watching trips with Láki Tours, so the hotel was the perfect location, just a few minutes' walk away from the harbour. Our rooms had fantastic views of the town and the fjord. Free parking is available opposite the hotel.|Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I would definitely stay here again whenever I come back to Hólmavík.

Good straightforward unpretentious hotel on hill by church. Good parking opposite. Room was not fussy but functional. Breakfast was great freshly cooked scrambled eggs unlike most places which offer a breakfast buffet. Dining room has an excellent view over the bay - where you may be lucky enough to see whales - I wasn't.

We had a nice double bed. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast was good and fresh. They cooked the scrambled eggs on request. It was a very good stay. The hotel is situated near the harbour and some restaurants are nearby. Enough place to park our car.

We arrived early for check in but that was not a problem, the owners were very welcoming and friendly throughout out two night stay. ||The rooms are simple and clean and the beds very comfortable for a decent nights sleep. ||Breakfast was very substantial and also catered for my wife's dairy allergy extremely well. ||On a clear day I would recommend taking breakfast on the terrace! :) ||Thank you

At the beginning of April, myself and my son arrived early evening and we could not find a campsite for our campervan to stay overnight and happened upon this nice little hotel. Very friendly and simple, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. We didn't eat there because we had our own food in our van but I know the food would have been good plus we were offered their kitchen to do our own dishes which shows you the level of friendliness. So I wouldn't hesitate recommend or to stay there again if we are ever that way. Also very close to the sorcery and witchcraft museum that was interesting and gave a good account of Icelandic folklore and history. One of the staff were very helpful sharing details about the local area, route, attractions at certain points along our way referring to a big map. Just very helpful all round.

We needed a place to stay overnight on our trip from the Westfjords back to Reykjavik. The hotel is clean, and bed comfortable. Perfect for a good nights rest. The staff was super-friendly and helpful.
