Fira Backpackers Place

Booked at the very last minute for one night only and was most grateful to have been given a comfortable bed, while the gentleman on reception was incredibly friendly and helpful in answering questions. Located next to the bus stop which is cheaply linked to both the airport and ferry port. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay overnight ahead of an early ferry or flight.

I only stayed for a night. The staff were very friendly. The location is great. Just two blocks away from the bus stop and really close to the center. The shower was good, too. They let me leave my bags before checking in.

I had an excellent 3 night stay. Comfort, cleanliness, and even the reception were great (especially from Matthew). There's a great atmosphere at night and everything is close by. If I ever come back to Santorini, I would definitely come back.

Only stayed one night due to flying in late. Really lovely staff and great location. 3mins to the bus stop, 5mins to city centre. However unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again as the main reason I book a hostel is to sleep and unfortunately this was one of the worst beds I’ve ever slept it. It was a wire/spring type of mattress but the ‘mattress’ part on top of the wire was so thin that the wire was constantly sticking into me and it was just not it. The wifi was also terrible and barely worked for me during my stay. Having an ensuite bathroom was really nice though. Really gracious with facilities too which was a positive, a pool available for use even after your stay, luggage storage etc. Just the wifi/service and bed situation really lets it down and unfortunately it was bad enough to outweigh the good. Very affordable so I suppose you get what you pay for but I’ve been in other affordable options with a better experience.

I can say it was the best place I chose for a one-week stay. Excellent hospitality, friendly behavior, and I definitely recommend it. If you’re going to Centroni for a holiday, I suggest this place. The price is reasonable, and overall, everything was great. 🫶🏼🙏🏼

Walking distance to main downtown and the tourist shops and all the restaurants. Matthew at the front counter is very informative and helpful. Rooms have lockers for bags and keys for both lockers and doors. The communal kitchen is spacious and stocked with dishes to use. The pool is clean and not too cold. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back:)

This was my first hostel experience! I also traveled solo. The staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful, I felt completely comfortable. They also gave tips of the island and went over important details. The location could not be more perfect being just minutes away from the bus and town. The rooms were clean enough and perfect for what was needed as I did not spend much time there. One pro that I appreciated was being able to store my bags after checking out and still having access to the facilities such as the shower. I would definitely recommend to a friend and come again!!

Stayed in this hostel back in April with a travel group (Bus2Alps) and probably had one of the best stays I ever had. Matthew was so chill and was more than helpful. The breakfast was nice and simple. The rooms were clean. A great value. Everything about the stay was smooth. Shout out Matthew!
