Fire Nightclub

Fire Nightclub hosts a variety of events. The venue is of a good size, featuring two bars: one located on the dance floor and another in the chill-out area. The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff were attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Soul Bingo. The venue is wheelchair accessible, though parking is not available on-site. Limited parking may be found on the side road.

Had a brilliant time at this venue as The Brunch Club hosted one of their events here. Can't say how a regular club night would be though. Love that it has two bars, hate that there's no cloak room.

Hands down the best worst nightclub I’ve ever visited. The security at the entrance really went above and beyond with their attitude — rude, unprofessional, and showing behaviour that came across as downright racist. If you’re looking to start your night with disrespect and discrimination, this place absolutely delivers.

Fire nightclub club was a bit disappointing when compared with the venue where Roast happens. Music was good, outside area was nice but didn't protect much from the rain. No changing area (do it whenever you can find a place). Cloakroom was charging different prices from the tickets issued. The prices of the drinks were ok. Not many toilets on the venue. It was meant to open doors at 11pm but people only started queuing and getting in at around 11:30pm. For the Madmen event there was a dark room which was a disappointment when compared with Roast and when the advertisement said "XXL". Might return again but definitely not my favourite venue for a night out.

Its ok but because of multiple events in the same place you have to do an assault course to get from one section to the other. Lots of stairs so dont get drunk if thats where you event will be because those stairs are industrial. Once inside your cool, bar staff friendly toilets stink they are gender free. Location is good for transport links

Girls stay away from there . I saw some ugly men looking for girls here spiking their drinks. I had to run for my life after my drink got spiked 2 months ago there & I thought let’s go again after few drinks I made a mistake giving this place another chance . It happened again , they spike girls drinks just before the club closes so they can drag you to their place’s & do what ever to you . Lucky I had people helping me outside & those men ran away . This place should be full of police , I’m mentally traumatised by this experience! I emailed the club twice & they ignored me!

I took my sister out for a bottomless brunch with a drag act and butler in the buff. From start to finish, which we left early it was really bad.The lady on the door was so rude when looking in my bag, then there was nobody to tell us where to go. We walked into a dump, absolutely shocking, the tables were just cheap wood and the seats were cheap wooden benches, considering we got there early they hadn't even been wiped down from the previous night, they were sticky and covered in food.We see staff smoking inside the venue,but they were so unprofessional, I don't think 1 person knew what they were doing. The so called carpet was just bits of green thin material a bit like snooker table material, but it was in bit's so I expect it's never been hovered, some came up so a member of staff wafted it to get it straight, but it was left all bunched up and a terrible trip hazard. Don’t bothered getting dressed up, the place was filthy, the staff had no idea what they were doing, and the drinks before the bottomless brunch started were over priced. The drag act was ok, and I have seen many before that was so much better. The loos are shared with men using a urinal so not very lady friendly, and they absolutely stank of wee.I was so embarrassed taking my sister here, considering they have loads of good reviews. Avoid at all cost.

Seems like the review on this page is super outdated so I'm going to add a new voice. I'm pretty sure Fire is no longer a gay club?? But I may be wrong. Its definitely more of an electronic music club venue now days. Beginning late 2012 Fire has had some amazing house & tech house DJs for their In Session nights. Other promoters and record companies also host some parties here (like UK bass, dubstep, dnb, etc). There is one main room (with amazing lasers, ceiling LED, side elevated railing space, bar in the back and an upper layer in the very back, above coat check, with couches and separate bar), and two smaller side rooms to each side with large bar and toilets. In general, its not that hot in there. The security here is always quite strict. They give you intimate pat-downs and close examinations of everything (out of your pocket and bag).

What a club! Be prepared for an all nighter if you decide to head here. It is a predominantly homosexual crowd and definitely a sexually liberal place! The crowd did vary throughout the night however and early hours in the morning more groups of 'Lads' appeared to begin with. We had an awesome night there recently. The house music was continuous and pumping. People were all up for a serious night of dancing. We danced for hours before we realised it was 7am! The staff and clientele were so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to dance the night away and not get hassled by annoying men!

Pretty sure this place isn't a predominately homosexual club anymore! Came for the Garage party and ventured into AM (the homosexual side party going on) as the line was way too long. After spending some time on an empty dance floor with my friends we went back in line for Fire. It was definitely packed and there was a decent crowd dancing (so if that is what you're looking for this place is golden). What was surprising was the age of the crowd. It is dominated by a very young clientele (most were around 18). Further, I'm not sure why, but "pushing" in this club was harsher then usual and really tarnished my experience (along with the crowds blocking everything inside: the coat room, bathroom etc.).

Love FIRE but... Once every 2 months I have to go to FIRE and boogie all night long. I do miss the old days -pre the April 2007 Police Raid, when you could hide away on one of the chill out sofas and buy whatever substance you wanted from the bar. THE TWO THINGS I HATE IS THE INCREDIBLE SCORCHING HEAT AND THE ADDITUDE OF THE STAFF. They need to sort out the ventilation and cooling system before summer gets here.

Ok, this is where you get my disclaimer on Fire. It's four stars because technically I did have an amazing time here. I would consider giving it three because it's so full-on that I can never come to terms with scheduling a time to go back, much less two days afterwards dedicated to recovering. I think to say that you went to fire and left at a respectable hour after having a few cocktails would be to say that you're a total failure at life. I left at 8am, I had to throw my shirt away which was my favorite, but it was stained with I'm not sure what and whatever it was did not come out after 10 washes. I danced on platforms, boxes, people's faces, lost my friends, found some new ones and made sure there was no photographic evidence along the way. Oh the queue looked dreadful. Luckily, I don't queue, so I made one of my friends insist to the bouncer that they knew someone important and stop at nothing to avoid the wait. Entry is a breeze anywhere if you just stand your ground! Take notes kids, they say you waste days of your life waiting at traffic lights, I'm not prepared to add to that number waiting to get into a club. & the LED room really is the best.

Okay, i haven't been here for over a year, mainly because I think I've grown out of the clubbing phase having done it for several years. Before I hit that point Fire was the club we would wend our weary way to on a Monday morning, flying in the face of the early morning commuters with our hedonistic smiles. Orange really is the best clubbing night left in London and regularly draws in scores of people who want that weekend to last a little longer! Okay it is mainly a gay night but that shouldn't discourage any straight clubbers as the guys here have probably been partying all weekend and just want to dance their disco tits off! The rest of the week there are variety of other nights, all equally good, all going on to ridiculous o'clock hours and all of them deserving of me revisiting them at some point in the future.

When other clubs are closing and those who haven't the strength to carry on head home, there is one place in London that is just coming alive... FIRE! Situated in Vauxhall, after hours club Fire has become the areas only gay superclub. Built within three massive arches with a fourth LED lit room recently installed, Fire is fast attracting not just a gay crowd but a mixed. With its array of House, Funk and Techno they continue to go from strength to strength Many times I've left a club early Sunday morning to head to Egg. After partying till midday Sunday afternoon I head to Fire to really take it to the next level. From there it is unlikely I'll see the light of day again till Monday. It is still mainly a gay crowd, with quite a large mixture of transsexuals. With these kind of hedonistic parties you are prone to the occasional oddball, but this is all part of the fun. Not for the light-hearted but an absolute blast if you are up for it.

So overall this place was pretty legit in my eyes. From the three different rooms to the outside patio, pretty decent club for my first night out in London. They played house music and some older songs as well. The thing that came in clutch the most was the food stand out in the patio area. Now for my biggest dislike. THE DRINKS. Holy crap did they gouge on that. I ordered a double jack and coke and there was barely any in there before the bartender started to water it down with soda. If they actually poured a decent amount of liquor to chaser ratio, this would easily be a 5 star rating.

Protocol a small club part of fire. Security Binned my chocolate. ok inside. Expensive. middle aged crowd. Review of Fire Pending review Anger venting time. Curse fire/protocol. They binned my best ££ chocolate & snack bar. Thought I could pick them up on way out. Lied about how many people inside. Coat and bar lady where nice. Very £££. £16 entry. £2.50 per top. Cost me £5! Another £2.50 for my jumper. Well I put them aside in the club instead. £1 to put my phone with bag to charge from USB power bank in bag. When she wastnt busy. as there was less than 10 people in the main room of protocol club. Hardly anyone there. Older crowd. 30s-40s~. Next time I check price for club. If ££ for a small club. Means no young people 20s age. Music was quite good. Techno beat I guess, with quite a lit of melody's on top. Far better off going to union down the road instead. Cheaper, younger crowd but depending on the night, sometimes grumpy staff. At least security is more reasonable!

Wow, I really don't know what else to say about this place..apparently the all night chemical induced club scene is alive and well in London, full of sweaty shirtless men, and it's at Fire. I ended up here in the wee hours of Jan 2nd when I randomly got stuck in London for a night on my way from India to Chicago. The cover was a bit steep and the door staff less than friendly, yet on those rare nights when one simply must party the night away (and I do mean party) Fire is definitely the place to do it. Oh and it was conveniently close to the tube so I could stumble towards my hotel as the sun was rising.

No-holds barred decadence is the name of the game here. This club is a legendary after-hours venue packed with mostly gay men. However, come 6am on a Saturday a more mixed crowd develops as those leaving the other big london nightclubs search for somewhere to continue the party. The place is huge and usually very busy. Music is mostly house and techno and the atmosphere is very very friendly!! Not quite as trendy as other clubs but definitely worth a visit for a glam, up-for-it night of hedonism. When I went they kept expanding the rooms as the night went on and more people arrived - by the end it felt a little like being in a cavernous labyrinth of inter-connecting private parties! Not for the faint-hearted.

Went on a Friday night (A:M afterhours). It was pretty much the standard circuit party-type late night club, like Factory in Los Angeles, and Roxy was in NYC. It is the afterparty to Onyx at Area, and it has the same crowd and dancers as Onyx. It only had one dance floor, with the standard house music that seems to drone on if you are too sober, but easy to groove mindlessly to, nonetheless. Would be much better, maybe even 5 stars, if there was a second decent dance floor with some more pop or dance-friendly music, like in Area. Its a good place to spend a Saturday morning, but not quite world-class. I do highly recommend Area, at least for a Friday night, and this is a good place to go when Area closes at 5 am, if you are not ready to call it a night.

Last weekend (2nd Feb 2013) been there at Matinee party and must say- that is most dreadful venue of the time. Payed £18 to get in at 00.45AM, then spend 45 min to cloakroom to check in the coat. Cloakroom was OUTSIDE the club- in the yard. with no shade, no heating. That was -1C that night in London! At 3AM I was leaving the club and had to wait in the q at list 30 min at freezing cold weather wearing t-shirt. Can only imagine what happen here when club was closing. Toilets is another dark side of that club- you can easily spend endless amount of time waiting in the line of 20-30 men spending in cubicle 5 min each. and there is 7 cubicles on few thousand people. Nice! Drinks! double vodka with splash of tonic £7 I use to like that club a lot (well, 8years ago), but after this weekend will think twice before go

I came on Friday night with a group of 5 people. First of all we came after 12 to make sure there is no more queue and indeed there was NO QUEUE. We had to wait more than 10 minutes WITHOUT any reason. So: - tickets were already bought - there was no queue outside - it was COLD as hell - we are good dressed, cultured and educated people - and totally SOBER! But the reception of their bouncer was horrible! I really don't understand how they can put such an impolite, rude and unprofessional bouncer in front of their club. He shouted at us, demonstrated his power without any reason. After spending the night there, we left after a few hours. This mentioned bouncer opened the tiny metal gate after yelling 'THIS WAY' and after going out he said: 'and you my dear won't come back!' Ok, whatever the reason is why he said that, god knows his mood on that night. This is definitely unacceptable. You should really wonder why fire is not as full as other clubs and why good people avoid going there. I'm not talking about the tourist, but also about locals. I'm not saying bouncers are nicer in other clubs, but at least they don't offend you. Many thanks for your attention.

Not for me. Security is intense (although really friendly bouncers), and for some reason they wouldn't let a friend in (The woman on the door just probably didn't like the look of him I guess). Drinks are cheap, and if you like electro house, people wearing sunglasses in doors then this is for you.

One of Vauxhall's - nay, the UK's - best gay clubs with four rooms with state of the art lighting and sound and big-name DJs playing uplifting funky house and electro house. Security is tight and the club has a mainly gay door policy. A place of epic nights which can last for days

So I went to Fire this Saturday for the 20th anniversary of a night that's very close to my heart - Queer Nation. Patrick Lilley had put together an amazing dj line up. However the Fire management let him down big style. The queue for coats was long and very slow moving. Unbelievably when it got to about 130 the sound system in all three rooms began to crash approximately every ten minutes for the remainder of the evening. The least I would expect from the supposed largest and most professional club in Vauxhall is that it would have a sound system that could play for longer than 10 minutes at a time. Unbelievable. Amateurish. Awful.
