While visiting from out of town, I decided to check out Fire + Wine—located just outside of Chicago. Making a reservation online was quick and easy, and since I was dining solo, I opted to sit at the bar. Service started off well. I was promptly greeted by the bartenders and handed a menu with some water. I ordered the Northern Lights cocktail, which was well-balanced, refreshing, and definitely a highlight. However, after my drink arrived, it took over 20 minutes before anyone followed up to ask if I wanted to order food, which was a bit frustrating. Once I did get to order, I went with the diver scallops. They were impressively large, seared nicely, and paired well with the succotash—fresh and flavorful. Overall, Fire + Wine is a solid option if you’re looking for a nice meal without heading into the city. I’d come back, but hope for more attentive service next time.

We heard Fire & Wine got a new chef last year so we dropped in around 6:00 PM without reservations on Friday night to see if we could get in. They had a high top table available in the bar area so we grabbed it. The menu options are great and it took a while to narrow down our choices. Melly, our server brought two wine options for my wife to try, which was a really helpful offer. I ordered an old fashioned and my better half ordered a glass of Bordeaux. My cocktail was excellent ($15) and the Bordeaux was rich and full bodied (also $15). We ordered the calamari appetizer which was fresh, hot and lemony. It came with deep fried lemon slices and sliced peppers, and a rich aoli sauce. We liked that it was a small plate with about 15 calamari so it wasn’t too much food (often happens with calamari. I ordered the Lobster Fra Diavlo and it was much better than I expected. Lots of whole lobster chunks and a perfect spice ($38). I switched out the penn for linguine noodles and they happily accommodated. My wife love vodka pasta and added chicken, which was also a treat ($21). The vodka sauce was rich and wonderful. Both entrees came with a delicious, buttery French bread that complemented both meals. Melly timed our courses well, giving us plenty of time to relax with our drinks before the food came, so we didn’t feel rushed, which happens a lot. To complete the meal we ordered the triple chocolate cake which was very large (so we took half home). The ambiance was nice and business was hopping. We’re so glad we tried Fire & Wine again! We’ll definitely return with friends. We spent approximately $200 including a well deserved tip. I highly recommend this place!

Google
Overall mid experience. Was pretty packed when we went so service seemed a little rushed. Food was nothing special, a one time thing but wouldn’t go back. Ordered the Caesar salad and added shrimp, which for $9 amounts to four (4) shrimps, which is a little ridiculous. Also there is an up charge if you want to order from the kids menu but are not a child.

Food was great, servers was nice and prompt. Prices are reasonable. The Soppressata pizza were great

I will say right off that I am not someone who usually dines in nicer places. I like mom and pop diner sort of places and I don’t drink wine. I was given a generous gift card so three of us went to dinner after going to a play downtown. The only reservations we were able to get was at 5:45 and the place was packed even then and got progressively more crowded. Our dinner took about two hours and on the way out we overheard that they were running 30 to 40 minutes behind on reservations. The food was yummy. Both of our appetizers were very good and our three meals were delicious. One person in our party drank they had a cocktail and then a wine and said they were both good. We also got two desserts. The tables are very close together and we landed up pretty much having to talk to the people on the right and left of us because you bumped the table when you try to leave or enter. Plus, you’re just sitting right next to them. It was very loud! The music and the people to the point that it was at times challenging to have a conversation across the table. I was facing a large TV that had I think golf stuff but also had commercials and at one point had a very long ASPCA commercial with abused animals. It was hard to ignore while you’re trying to eat. Our server was sweet but our drinks were empty for long periods of time-Including our water. I had an IBC root beer and in the two hours was never asked if I wanted another one. We twice had to ask for more water. I get they were busy. I am sure this is a lot of people‘s cup of tea as they say, but it wasn’t mine. We spent $230.

This was the first time trying brunch at Fire & Wine and it was delicious. Portions were hearty and brunch cocktails hit the spot. We got the farmers omelet and french toast to share. Well prepared and great flavors! Mel was our server and awesome as always. Brunch vibe was relaxed, quiet and a great option if you’re looking for time out with other adults. There was a larger party of all women that looked like they were celebrating a special occasion and having a great time!

We had the pleasure of dining at this really nice restaurant recently, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal, offering a serene and comfortable environment that allowed us to unwind and enjoy our time together. The menu featured a wide variety of dishes, and everything we ordered tasted absolutely perfect. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impressive, showcasing the care and skill of the kitchen staff. Despite being incredibly busy, the restaurant maintained a high standard of service. There was no delay in receiving our food, and each course arrived promptly and at the ideal temperature. The staff truly made our visit memorable. Our server was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Everyone we interacted with was polite and helpful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. They even went above and beyond to assist my wife in orchestrating a secret reveal, which added a special touch to our dining experience. In addition to their outstanding service, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our special day. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and made our meal even more delightful. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a nice place to enjoy a meal, this restaurant is sure to impress with its delicious food, exceptional service, and welcoming ambiance.

Google
I love Fire & Wine; the only problem is that… Everyone else loves it, too. If you want to dine here, I highly recommend reservations!! Favorite dishes here are the Whipped Ricotta and Honey, so delicious, and the Arancini… Don’t miss the filet medallions either; they’re always cooked to perfection and served on a bed of fresh vegetables. The crème brûlée is also outstanding.

Yelp
we ordered a beet salad, meatballs, and pizza. The salad was lacking one item beets, besides that everything was awesome. The service was great the drinks were spot on. The place was very busy people everywhere. We go there often. Just the one thing I mentioned. I highly recommend Fire and Wine

Yelp
Absolutely incredible! They don't take reservations but they do priority seating if you call ahead so we did that and had no issues on a Friday night. In fact, we got one of the best seats in the house: a two-person high top in the front corner that had the most amazing view of the sunset. Our waiter was excellent. I forgot his name but he was super attentive and gave some great recommendations. For drinks, I tried the On the Strawberry Swing which was great! All the appetizers looked SO good. We ended up ordering the baked brie and mussels. Again, both dishes exceeded my expectations. At that point we were both already pretty full so we split the fig and prosciutto pie. The crust was so fresh and soft and it had just the right amount of toppings. At the end they brought out a surprise dessert for my birthday which was so great and embarrassing. There are very few places that still do free birthday desserts so that was a great surprise. Overall an incredible night. Great environment. Great service. And even greater food!

Yelp
We had a fun time af the restaurant. I was very confused. I called to reserve a table and they told me we cannot reserve over the phone. We drove to the restaurant directly and it was packed at 6:15pm on a Saturday. The waitress asked us if we put our name down. So is there some sort of waitlist? If yes why don't they let us know when we first called? They could improve on communication skills. Back to the wait, we were at the bar for an hour before getting seated. The menu was great! Lots of options and vegetarian options. I had seafood and my husband got some ravioli. Portions were just right! Drinks were fun as well. I wouldn't go for the desserts. We ordered 2 desserts and it didn't really jump out at us.

Yelp
Second visit as good as the first-this is a great place for small plates and hearty Italian alike. The Pepperoni and Burrata pizza and Rigatoni Bolognese were great representations of these dishes. Good service, vast drink menu and lively atmosphere too.

Yelp
Stopping in on a Tuesday evening and probably needing a reservation is a testimony to how great the food is. Even though we didn't have a reservation, the hostesses worked their magic and got us a table in 20 minutes. It's not a big restaurant and can be noisy. Once we sat down we were greeted with a server who was intuitive enough to know we needed some time to look at the menu. When she came back we ordered a few small plates to share and all were delicious. We started with arancini (portion is 6), french onion soup and a salad then moved on to a pizza and wine cake for dessert. Nothing that we ate was ordinary. The grilled romaine salad had amazing flavors with "shreds" of bacon. The soppresetta pizza was a bit on the spicy side with a hint of sweet. (Delicious but if you don't like spicy, try a different pizza). If you have room, try the wine cake, it's big enough to share. I'll definitely be back since there's so many other things I need to try.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner and celebrated my husband's 57th birthday! Our waitress was Caitlyn and she made the evening even more special with all the considerate things she did for us. For example, she treated us to free donuts for my husband's birthday! The environment of the restaurant was very lively and relaxed. We had an amazing evening! We ate a lot! Everything was delicious!! We had Lobster Bisque, Meatball Sliders, Beef Medallions, Hot Sausage Peppers Pizza and Spicy Chicken Tortellini. We will definitely be back and hope to have Caitlyn as our waitress again. She rocks!!

Yelp
The food was a step above today! This is my second time here, and wanted to celebrate my Birthday here. The Honeycomb Ricotta was one of the best things that we had, and was perfect for two people to share. The Veal Marsala is one of the best meals, but the Pizzas are great (and can be shared between two people). If you enjoy a light, refreshing, and lightly-sweet dessert be sure to get the White Wine Cake. The service was good and the Holiday Decor was done very tastefully in the dining room.

Yelp
Ambiance: 5/5 Cute small bar space when you first walk in with pretty good drinks. The restaurant part is cozy and would be great for a date or hangout with friends. The vibe is casual, but cute. Service: 5/5 All the servers and bartenders are great! Very welcoming and friendly. Food: 4/5 We have been here a few times before. The food was always delicious but this time, it seemed like the menu has changed a bit? Certain items aren't on the menu anymore and while the food was still good, it didn't taste as yummy as before. Nonetheless, we would still come back because we really like the vibes in here and the food is decent for the price.

Yelp
Been going to this place for years. The menu has some excellent offerings. The mussels appetizer is tremendous. Typically end up with a daily special for my dinner but always get the mussels. Service is typically excellent. It can get loud in there and while I understand that people want to watch sports I'm not sure that's what I want to do here. But they do have a large TV in the dining room now. Try and get reservations as the wait can be long.

Yelp
We knew this was a popular place, so having an online reservation was definitely the right choice. The various dinner salads were delicious! We were also very satisfied with the main courses: lobster risotto, squash ravioli, and chicken caprese. For dessert, we shared the generous serving of mini-doughnuts with chocolate sauce, and triple-layer chocolate ganache cake. We would definitely return to Fire + Wine, especially for a birthday or anniversary celebration.

Yelp
The pasta was really good, as it had always been. I am very disappointed in the beet salad. Where are the beets?? tomatoes? not in a beet salad. I travel from Alabama frequently and was so sad about my salad. Has there been a change in managent?

Yelp
Some of the best food I've ever had!!!!! We came on a Saturday night and had a 30 min wait (we were told it would be longer). They don't do reservations. It's totally worth waiting for!!! We tried cocktails to start. We all ordered something different and liked each one. They were all around $15 each. Unique and delicious. I had a house salad and a small plate of shrimp over polenta. Omg both were crazy good!!! I could've licked the plate for both. I will be thinking of these dishes for a while. Would highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Highest recommendations. This was my second time going to Fire + Wine but has been about two years since my last visit. For being one of the busiest dining night of the year (nye), they exceeded my expectations. I made a 7pm reservation and when our table was slightly delayed, the girls at the host stand kept us well informed and handled the situation with the utmost sense of professionalism. Staff was hustling all night but our server, Rachael, was constantly smiling, checking in on us, and not pressuring us on time. She exemplified the best character and how a customer would want to feel for a holiday night. For cocktails, we started with a round of the nye specials: midnight kiss and bourbon + bubbly. Rachael recommended these as the bartenders put a lot of thought into them for one night only. The bourbon + bubbly was the perfect mix of fruity, sweet, and bourbon forward. The midnight kiss has a sparkly wow favor and tasted like fruity champagne. We later got The Wet Bandits and Settanta Cinque which may have been even more delicious than our first round. The Wet Bandits was a light and refreshing drink with pear flavor. The Settanta Cinque almost a take on a lemoncello lemon drop with gin flavor. For appetizers, we got the Ricotta + Honeycomb as well as the Arancini Mozzarella. This may have been THE best ricotta and honey appetizer I've tried. The ricotta was perfectly whipped and honeycomb was served in a fresh raw block. The Arancini was filled with their house risotto and came with a nice red sauce. For mains, we got the Vodka Pasta with Italian Sausage and Rigatoni Bolognese with a Meatball. The Vodka Pasta wasn't overly sauced, the prosciutto was nice and crispy, and italian sausage really added a nice touch. The Rigatoni Bolognese a perfect mix of pasta and meat sauce. Highly recommend adding the meatball! The sauce showed a lot of depth and all pasta must have been homemade. To end our perfect night, we got the Italian Doughnuts which were a perfect shareable size but also great to take home as leftovers! I cannot reiterate enough how great this restaurant is from food, to staff, to ambiance. It's the perfect place for a date night or to catch up with friends/family. We will certainly be back sooner than later!

Yelp
I may have caught them on an off day but the food was quite mediocre and off balanced this time. Quality- the white fish pasta had good flavor but non of it was on the fish. I was very bland flaky fish that was grilled or pan fried. The lamb chops were nauseating to eat. It was overpowered by the cheese they used on top of each lamb chop. It was honestly disgusting how much cheese was on top of each piece of lamb. The pot roast was ok but the meat was not moist at all. It was too dry and I had to drink water with it to get it down. The good news though is that the gnocchi steak dish is still excellent. The calamari was undercooked and not crispy. Quantity- not worth it for the money. You don't get much bang for your buck. Atmosphere- it can be quite packed and loud. Service- our waiter did not like us. He was slow to check in on us.

Christy B.

Yelp
We usually enjoy this restaurant, went for Brunch and the server was rude. My husband did not get what he ordered and she did not make any move to fix it. He gave her an out "is this the steak Benedict? And she replied "no it's the almost eggs Benedict" and walked away, almost comical. I asked her if they had crayons, because I could see some on the other table she rolled her eyes and said she'd ask the host but she didn't know. So I got up and took the crayons off the other table. She was already annoyed with me because I had asked what the options were for kids beverages, so I got two eye rolls. We will be back because we love this place, just not for brunch and hopefully not that person. One of our children, broke the candle holder, so we were already embarrassed about that, so we didn't ask for the right food:(

Yelp
Delicious! Went on a Saturday night expecting to wait to be seated but we were seated right away. Love the atmosphere, and our server was so accommodating to our vegetarian diet. We ordered Vodka pasta without prosciutto and he customized the spicy chicken tortellini into a cheese tortellini with peppers. It was AMAZING! The pizza was nice and crispy and pasta tasted fresh. 10/10 would recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Crowded but well lit. The non alcoholic blueberry yuzu drink was tasty. The eggplant appetizer was more like a salad but fresh. The mussels were very good. The fried calamari was ok but a little tough.. service was excellent. Bussing of the tables fantastic! Hosts were very accommodating.

Yelp
Great spot for drinks and dinner with friends. There is outdoor seating. Valerie was our server, and she rocked! We had a group of four and shared an appetizer salad, pizza, and pasta with two bottles of wine. Their cocktail list is excellent. They made my favorite cocktail perfectly. We will be back for sure! Parking can be found in the free garage or on the street.

Yelp
Apparently they play country music now, so it sounds like you're eating at a honky tonk. No clue why they think this will appeal to people who want to spend $100 on dinner.

Yelp
What a great experience. Asiago stuffed gnocchi - 4/5 stars Pillowy, chewy goodness. A little salt but very tasty and haven't had an appetizer like this before. Wood fired wings - 5/5 stars OH. SO. GOOD. Might be the star of the meal. Grilled chicken can sometimes be dry but man, not here. The wings were incredibly juicy and flavorful. It has a nice spicy kick to it, but nothing unbearable. I'd say this is a must order! Grilled chicken + bacon pizza - 4.5/5 stars Thin crust, chewy with a nice crunch - the perfect cook on a pizza! We were worried this pizza would be heavy but it wasn't. The red onions helped lighten the dish. Rock shrimp + linguine - 4/5 stars This pasta has a Parmesan cream and basil pesto sauce. Linguine cooked al dente and the shrimp cooked well, not rubbery/over cooked at all. It was yummy, no complaints here. The Mint Condition drink was very refreshing but seemed like 90% ice lol. Got my money's worth with a beer as my next drink. The food was delicious, but hats off to the phenomenal service. We ordered the gnocchi first, finished it then ordered the wings, pasta and pizza together. We really really appreciate how the restaurant staff plans the orders so the dishes come out with perfect timing. Our wings came out first, and once finished, pizza followed. The pasta came out a little after once we had stuffed ourself with pizza. All the food was hot and didn't seem like it was sitting out, so it seems like this restaurant takes extra planning when orders are sent/cooked so the customers don't have a completely tight squeeze on the table. Love that effort!!! And shout out to the incredible Melissa, her service was outstanding. Such a sweet, welcoming and kind person :) 10/10 recommend coming and get the wood fire wings!!

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday early evening and it was packed. Definitely recommend calling ahead a couple of hours - they don't take reservations but you can call to put your name in line and they'll give you an ETA. We called at 4 and were told to come around 5:45pm and were seated right away. Ambiance is a cozy, comfortable, but it is on the louder side. Our server was super friendly and made excellent recommendations. Great wine selection and food selection at a reasonable price. We ordered the calamari, grilled pineapple pork belly for apps and the hanger steak with brussels sprouts (with bacon). The best was the hanger steak (especially for the price) and was cooked perfect. The pork belly was also really good but there was a lot of thick chunks of fat which I don't prefer. Overall, really enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to come back to try some other menu items.
google avatar

Lillie B.

Yelp
I had the hangar steak and swapped the gnocchi for cheese risotto, It was perfect! The chimichurri on top was delicious. The restaurant was very busy for a weekday but the wait was not longer than 15 minutes. My server Juan made the visit spectacular and honestly that's probably why I had such a good visit , he gave excellent suggestions and was very nice. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
We got right in to Fire and Wine at 7:00 pm only because it is a Tuesday. I highly recommend calling ahead. We ordered our favorite App, Ricotta with Honey. We get a sidecar of GF bread which is my favorite with this appetizer. I orders the Vodka Pasta, which was my first time. Love it. It will be my favorite going forward. Great service and it's always a pleasure to run into friends there. Always happens and I always love it. Fire and Wine is our family staple. We love it here

Yelp
It's been too long since we have been here. Pre Covid remembered the shrimp and polenta, it's as good as I can remember but better. I could have licked that plate but I was dressed too nice. Mussels : some of the best I have had anywhere. Red pepper flakes make it a little spicy, in a decadent milk, butter type sauce. A few pieces of toast to dip in the sauce. Those scallops were perfectly cooked, minimal firm on exterior and soft and melty on the inside. They came with plenty of pasta, I believe this is a Saturday possible special, so you have to check menu daily. We ordered too much to eat but I don't care because we wanted to try it all. Go but be prepared to wait, this place is hoppin. Do what we did, get a few old fashions and meet some fun people like our friend the orthodontist who we couldn't get enough of. Don't do what we did and miss your table via text because you weren't paying attention, although that was kind of fun and worth it ;)

Yelp
100% recommend !!! Love the atmosphere: very dark & cozy with twinkle Lights. Our waiter was super knowledgeable. Giant wine selection. Frosted beer glass with the beers. We got several apps to split including: gnocchi, mushroom ravioli, whipped feta, and arancini. Everything tasted so fresh delicious! Oh yes, and we also got dessert! Look how many doughnuts came with our order !!! (See picture) Very vegetarian & gluten-free friendly !

Yelp
Well, I just found a new fav! I met my SIL here for a mom's night out. It was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Our sever, Joel, asked if this was our first time dining, which it was, so he happily shared 'fan favorites' with us. I started with the Moscato and my SIL had a chardonnay. The drinks were great! We then split a few apps and a pasta dish. We had the asiago stuffed gnocchi and heirloom tomato caprese. The gnocchi is so amazing I could eat it as an entree and every day for that matter. :) The Caprese was enjoyable and refreshing. We then shared the vodka pasta dish minus the prosciutto. You could tell the pasta was homemade and we left no noodles behind! Joel checked-in with us periodically and the team worked seamlessly to clear and serve plates. Waters and wine glasses were always full! Overall this place has class, phenomenal service, and delicious food presented beautifully! We can't wait to be back!

Yelp
Delicious chicken piccata special tonight. The chicken was tender, the dish was well seasoned, and the vegetables were very good. I'm back to being a fan of Fire & Wine!

Yelp
So grateful for F&W. It's a mainstay in GE and consistently good, from the customer service to the food. Recently visited for a girls' night and was once again impressed by the server and the food. Thank you so much, you guys rock.

Yelp
Fantastic, the quality and service is fantastic. The sister restaurant VAI's in Naperville used to be good but has gone way way downhill. I suggest fire and wine over VAI's

Yelp
Love this place. Stopped by on a snowy evening for a dessert and coffee run! I can't resist their beignets, piping hot and with a scrumptious chocolate dipping sauce; we got that and a panna cotta, which my friend devoured. We split an espresso martini (they brought it in the cutest 2 glasses) and had coffee (me) and a decaf cappuccino. Our server Mel was fun and got into the spirit of the thing--loved it! Delicious and fun little outing!

Yelp
I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! Both the hostess and server were happy to share recommendations of their favorite dishes. We had the black pepper shrimp appetizer and the pizza bread for the tasty sauce!! We enjoyed our salads and entrees. We were too full for dessert! As we left, I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was- even after serving such a large crowd. Nice place. Good culture. Recommend!

Yelp
By far, best meal of the week for our work group! Found F+W on Yelp - high stars, lots of reviews. All food was delicious - arancini, caprese salad, zucchini fries, margherita pizza, blackened pork chop, gnocchi ... all of it was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. She gave great recommendations too! No pictures and we all dove right in, will grab some next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Service was very good overall very friendly server. The ambience was nice also very warm and inviting. Food overall was good . We got there at two in the afternoon we're going to order about 10 minutes before 3:00 when the lunch menu ends, we're told it was too late to order off that menu. Would have been nice for the server to of said something, knowing we had that menu. Something to the effect of "If you want to order off the lunch menu I need to have it in by ****time. The Arancini (sp) were very tiny, not what you get at other establishments. Meatballs were flavorful. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Took awhile to get my Chianti. It would be nice to give a discount to Veterans and first responders. Price was reasonable, I'd consider going again, but as a disabled Vet, I tend to patronize establishments that offer Veterans discounts.

Yelp
When we visit our daughter in the Chicago area we make a point of having dinner here. Great ambience, service and outstanding food. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Every time I walk in the door I'm warmly greeted by the hostess. If you're looking to find true hospitality then, this is your place! Everyone is always so inviting and kind. It truly feels like one big family! The whole restaurant is always festive, fun, and full of life! If you ever need a reason to celebrate anything come on in. You won't regret it! I love how fast and efficient they always are as well! You order and no matter how busy they are you are always shocked at how fast they are. Yet, at the same time you never once feel rushed! I love how they have a new special daily. It makes me want to come in daily just to try every dish! They have an incredible wine list as well! And, all of the cocktails that I've ever had have been amazing! So, don't leave before trying one. Pork Belly The pork belly was crispy and crunchy on the outside and succulent on the inside. The spicy pepper jelly and the fresh grilled pineapple created a perfect well balanced pairing! It has that classic sweet heat that you crave! It is sweet, smokey, and spicy all in one bite! The micro herbs on top add a crisp flavorful element that ties the who flavorful dish together. This dish is something that will keep you coming back for more! Side Caesar Salad The Romaine lettuce was crisp, fresh, and crunchy! I loved how fresh and cool it was. The caesar dressing isn't the classic dressing that you're used to. It reminds me more of a creamy lemon mustard dressing that is tangy, bright, and Summery! The peppers are sweet, smokey, and addictively good! They add a punch of flavor! The croutons are crunchy and herbaceous! They are coated in a salty parmesan cheese that keep you smiling. They are everything that you could ever want in a crouton! Grilled chicken The grilled chicken was tangy, herbal, and oh so tasty! It was the perfect addition to the Caesar Salad. Margherita Pizza The Margarita Pizza had the perfect amount of tomato sauce, house mozzarella, and fresh basil. It was very well balanced! I loved the thickness of the pizza. It was chewy, crisp, crunchy, and rich all in one bite. I enjoyed that they put basil evoo on the crust. It made you savor every last bite of the wonderful pizza! Short Rib + Linguine This pasta is creamy, rich, and mouthwatering good! The 8-hour braised short rib falls appart as your fork cuts through its buttery meat. The short rib is lean and savory! It melts in your mouth as the flavors open up in your mouth and create a perfect harmony. Something that you must taste to believe. The grape tomatoes add a perfect amount of acid that you need in order to cut through the richness of the dish. While adding sweet aromatic notes. The spinach adds a touch of bitterness with a refreshing sweetness that tie this dish together! The aromatic herbs add a burst of bright flavors that make the dish memorable! The parmesan cream sauce is velvety, salty, and delicious! The micro greens add a bright fresh flavor that ties everything together! A must have dinner!

Yelp
Not sure my wife will visit this place again. Never like to make that claim after one visit but the service was not very good or friendly. Went to dinner on a last minute notice. Did not have a reservation to be clear but they did agree to sit us early- pre 5:00. They told us we had 90 Minutes only, no problem and understood. That said, once you explained the time limit we did not need to be rushed at every moment. We felt we could not even enjoy the conversation. The better approach would have been to politely explain that Fridays are busy and we do not have room and you will be rushed. The place is not cheap and so you want a nice experience. The food was good. No issues or complaint but dining out at nice places should be about a memorable experience. This was certainly not that. I see a lot of positive reviews and I'm sure that is true. Perhaps the intentions were well but the execution was poor.

Yelp
SO good. Wow. This was my first time here and I am so impressed. From the very beginning our service was amazing. She was attentive, extremely friendly, gave great recommendations, and extremely accurate which was difficult because we were in a large group. The ambiance is really nice, it feels fancy and classy with dimmed lights and an intimate atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing. There were so many different dishes ordered in our group and I wish I could've tried them all. The appetizers, the mains, the desserts, the drinks, everything was on point. I will absolutely be Coming back here

Yelp
We had an early dinner here to celebrate some great news! It was a busy place, even for an early meal. The pasta was fresh, you could tell it was made in house. The pizza was nice and crispy, yum! Our server was kind enough to bring us a mini-celebration dessert, so thoughtful! Overall, it was a good time and an evening well-spent, perfect for our cute little celebration as a couple. Thank you!!

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday early evening dinner and had a wonderful experience. We only called about 2 days in advance and the only Saturday reservations left were 445 and 9 pm, so I highly recommend making reservations early if you want to get a seat during weekend hours! When we arrived we were escorted to our table in the back and the hostess was very sweet. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the seasonal cocktails. They had speciality cocktails for Derby day which was a super fun touch! We ordered the ricotta and honeycomb as an appetizer and it was delicious. Served with warm bread slices, ricotta cheese, and a large piece of honeycomb, highly recommend! Now onto the main courses: I ordered the vodka pasta and my husband ordered the rigatoni bolognese, the portions were plenty and I cannot adequately describe in words how amazing the pasta was. You could definitely tell the pasta was fresh and the sauce was homemade. I would HIGHLY recommend this place as the food, service, and ambiance were the perfect touch for a night out with friends.

Yelp
To start off the service was great! They do not take reservations but did accept a call ahead to be on a waitlist. I called two days before and made it for 6:45 thinking I would have to wait because they did not take reservations but my party of six got seated right away. Our server Joel was incredible he gave us food recommendations and was very patient with us because my girlfriends and I kept being indecisive on what we wanted to eat. We had a couple bottles of the pink moscato and or server mentioned where we can get these bottles because we loved the wine so much! The food was great! I had the shrimp and avocado salad which was very tasty. The ambience was great, as they had a fake fireplace on tv for the winter which gave it a more comfortable vibe.

Yelp
I enjoyed this pub/eatery. The food quality was good, menu selection broad enough for most, and all at a fair price. Service was very good. The appetizer of calamari was disappointing in quality and price. So try something else. The main dinners, were very tasty and the portions were good. The atmosphere is lively and expect a reasonable crowd although a wait may not be required. I would visit again and recommend this establishment to friends. Support the locally owned businesses and skip the chains.

Yelp
Took my wife here for birthday last night, and can't say enough about how awesome this place is! All the staff were incredible...from the hostess, to the bus boys and our awesome waitress. And the food was incredible! We will be going back and telling our friends about this find. Great experience, thank you!

Yelp
One of my top 5 favorite pizza restaurants. I've been to this restaurant at least five times. Each visit the food is taste just as good as the last time. The char taste on the pizza from to wood fire pizza oven is amazing. They also recently had a grill shrimp scampi that was the best I've ever had. They quality of their food is worth the price. Their drink specials are also good.

Yelp
Great food , service and atmosphere. Friends recommended this place and we came from California to try it. Portions are generous and flavors are terrific. Street parking is easy. Also downtown Glen Ellyn is fun to walk around with great little shops.

Yelp
Marissa Ari and Lauren and Kaylin (?) are amazing and so beautiful and sweet. I miss them already and will tell people of their niceness for DECADES to come. Beautiful chalk penmanship on the specials board too
