Firebird Motorsports Park

As always the motorpark hosts great venues. Come for the races, Plenty of parking, pit access depends on the event. Limited handicap viewing but 2 stands on west side. One at starting line, one 50 yards down& one on the east side partway down. They have vendors there that r reasonably priced but the home park vender, plan on 20bux to eat. While I was there last week had a power outage at the starting line, not the promoters issue but took an hour to get the power co out there to fix a breaker & back in business. Alcohol cars were great, jet cars to finish even better

What can I say.. not the best facility but this track.. be prepared for some BUMPS on the racing line and on apexes. Surface is rough and unkept with a pothole out there so for an actual track, I would probably avoid on a bike. Only benefit is it’s in Chandler and 40 minutes from where I live so only real option after AMP closed. I would recommend to those with suspension travel and an interest of re-creating some of the head-shake from the Isle of Man TT..

I've been coming here since I was a kid always a great time fuelfest 2025 was an epic day filled with alot to take in bring back imports vs domestics Tuesdays and Friday nights it was always deemed something and just turned into grudge matches pure fun..

If you are looking for some heart pounding adrenaline action than firebird motorparks is a must stop! Follow them on social media for new and updates for events. They always have something going on.

A wonderful drag racing experience. Well ran and coordinated events. Great seats, with full views of all activities and actors. One of the best racing venues in the world. I've seen thousands of people and families here having a great wholesome experience. Not a sad face in the crowd. I wish there were more places like this in the Phoenix area, instead of strip malls and ever expanding housing and retirement communities. There is a shortage of family friendly venues that are affordable for all. Most ballparks and stadiums are exclusively priced and hard to afford for most families.

What do you say? It's got a track. Facilities are almost non existent. Track needs TLC, but it's safe with plenty of run off almost everywhere. They layout is good and fairly traditional with a carousel and some S's and a decent straight.

Great place for drag racing, car events, and a great school. Drag racing events take place fairly often. Car shows are held here as well. Radford school is also located here. They teach driving skills as well as racing skills. Vehicle control and safety training is also taught by Radford. Great place for vehicle enthusiasts.

Went there for the Arizona NHRA Nationals on Sunday . 5 of us went and we had great seats. It was a great time. A few things need to be upgraded. They need a few more TV or replay screens . And they ran out of Coors light.

This will always be Firebird to me. Been coming here since my car racing days. We attended the last NHRA event here and it was bittersweet as they will not be held here again. It was quick getting through the gate and plenty of seating. Parking wasn't a super far walk and had a great time!

Great NHRA race. The food choices were awesome too. The facility is well equipped with security guards and wonderful staff support.

Supposedly Firebird raceway was renamed Wild Horses at some point. My father was a fan of Firebird raceway - not "firebirds". *rolls eyes at spider* Anyway when he was working for state patrol in Arizona (not california) we often went to the old Firebird racetrack. I was fortunate to meet people like Don Garlits, Shirley Muldowny, John Force, Connie Kaletta. Back in the day all you had to do was buy a pit pass and you could watch all the teams work on the cars, and meet the teams and drivers. This would have been late 80's and early 90s.

It was a waste to come on Friday. They had a hour or so intermission playing hillbilly music. 2:00 o'clock and no one racing top fuel or funny cars. Won't bro this next year

Been here for a few events, mostly for the NHRA Arizona Nationals. LOVE this track & how friendly & helpful the people are! Great seating no matter where you sit for the races. Good speaker system for hearing the announcements. Never a dull moment here!

I have to agree....the parking situation here is crazy. But we come here for the NHRA races every year and are up in the suites and it is awesome. I've been coming here for the past 13 years for the NHRA races and have never had an issue. I can't speak for the stands.

The track and facilities are 5 star. However watch who you buy tickets from. I purchased tickets from Act of Speed and was turned away at the gate. Later my money was refunded for the tickets but it totally ruined my Friday nite plans. Disorganization is to blame on Act of Speed part. Will NEVER buy tickets for their events again. We went to several other events at the race track and have never had issues. We have enjoyed racing, cars and boats and our favorite NHRA. Each visit was great. Bleachers to sit in are like bleachers. Sometimes it is windy but nothing too bad. I believe there are "shade" sections you can purchase but we never have. Never needed it. When it is hot we go to night races. Nice time to unwind if cars, boats, or bikes are your internet. Highly recommend. Just be wary of buying tickets from Act of Speed. You may not get to see the races.

There's not a bad seat in this place! Watching the drags so up close was awesome! There's a lot of food vendors to choose from. Even 1 vegan noodle place. The parking is plentiful but bring your comfy shoes because it's a hike. Getting out of there is weird as they block off a lot of roads but it's easy enough. Have fun!

Given I get all access passes from family's race team.... but this race track is great. Some of the employees can be a little sour but for the most part everyone is treated with upmost respect. The track is well maintained.

Totally look forward to this day. Love seeing the the the top fuel dragsters and funny cars. Parking accommodations were not great and the bathrooms are pretty gross though.

Real cool spot. Went here for motorcycle races. Had a ball watching them from the bleachers where seating was plentiful. There's a small picnic area and grass behind the bleachers to set up tents, have vendors, a picnic or chill. Parking was a bit confusing and cramped. Traffic after the event was a monster and it took forever to get to the freeway. It was also difficult to find according to navigation.

Outside two lanes keep getting screwed over. Inside lanes keep going. No alternating on any kind of consistency

I hate going to this place, but its the only place that hosts decent drag and drift events. Ill start with the pros first. - track is well maintained - plenty of seating - bathrooms are usually clean The cons: - most of the parking is on dirt. Pave this crap already! - weeds and poorly kept pavement inside - zero shade - wicked tons of mosquitos down at the south end close to the pond - poorly planned events - overpriced - rude employees

There are not many venues like this around anymore; a tarmac track, drag strip, water, and dirt. Countless Motorsports events that happen here from TT races to jet boats to track days. On occasion there will be demo trucks. Conveniently located off the outlet mall exit on the 10 it's easy to get in and get out.

Burnout pit too small was better when it was a single big one and rules are to stricter now

Was out at Wild Horse Motorsports Park the past weekend working an Bicyle Haus event , before it was Mortorsports, it used to be firebird raceway, and though I had never made it when it was firebird, I have to say Motorsports has lots to offer those who are into racing. Yes I was there at a bike race, and there was about 430 racers with races starting 2pm and going to 9:10pm, but what I also saw was in the area next to us was drag cars racing and on another track was motorbikes racing, Motorsports has 3 road course circuits, a watersports lake, NHRA drag strip, Drag boat racing and so much more, so this place is huge and has a lots of offer those who are into racing. The race I was at was near the Bondurant School and I guess on part of their track, and it looked impressive, restrooms were easy to find and well taken care of, the only downfall I saw their wasn't any water fountains, had plenty of racers looking for them, there was a vending machine with soda, but they were seeking water. If racing is your thing, then Wild Horse Motorsports Park might be your kind of place!

Parking was ok, did not check out bathrooms, they have plenty of bleachers on both sides of track, and a nice lake behind the bleachers with boaters, pretty cool. Since it is Arizona very dry heat, we brought our tent and set it up on the bleachers at the top, perfect view. There was no announcer the day we went, but at least the speedometer board was working. They have picnic benches under a shaded area at the entrance and a concession stand, not sure what they sold. Hope to come back here for more races next year, very nice scene.

This is the second year in a row my SMALL business has been affected by Wild Horse Pass cancelling an event. Wild Horse you have cancelled an event that has brought over 15000 people to thus city. I rented rooms, hired a staff, rented truck n trailer, and ordered more merchandise. I LOST big time! I'm only one of many that lost out!!!!

Very clean track, nice restrooms. Be sure and bring hearing protection and sunscreen. Food and beers are pricey as well as admission.

Here for the 2018 NHRA Arizona Nationals this year and off the bat couldn't order tickets through them via the NHRA site. I kept getting directed to the 2017 event which obviously was unavailable. Had to purchase individual day tickets because the ticket counter said no 3 day packages were available. No trash cans readily available at the bottom of the stands. Had to walk almost out to the main walkway to toss trash and this just causes people to drop their trash under the bleachers and like today on a wonderful day day it blows all over. Leaving.....they closed access through the main gate other than one lane causing a jam of poeple who were just leaving. Why would you funnel exiting foot traffic to o e lane. Idiotic and people were not happy. And of course the wonderful hired help were indifferent to it all. Forget parking.....for a place that hosts events often you'd think they'd have more gates open for traffic to leave from. Nope....they'd rather see you free for all it through a single exit lane. These easy to fix items, which seem to happen year after year here, are why I may not make it back next year! The NHRA should intervene.

First time i showed up to watch the event I had no issues. The second time I showed up is where things were pretty bad. Both times I brought my family which is $70 each time and I drive across the state to come. I had been scouting the track out to see if this is somewhere i'd enjoy bringing my car. Not to say the atmosphere and location is bad. But i'd warn you that it's definitely not professional by any means. 5-10 minutes after arrival they claimed to be "taking a break" due to the incoming wind storm. Suddenly the track shutdown and everybody left. So I assume everybody spectating and participating in the "Drift & Drag" event had basically been scammed out of their money. No reimbursement nor a reschedule. This is somewhere i personally don't want to take my car to anymore. Watching basically every car ready to spin out & unprofessional management. I will not be making a return. Best of luck to the company, sorry to bash you like this but this was the truth & others need to hear.

First time visiting tonight for the Monster Madness event, and unfortunately will be our last! Extremely disappointed. We paid so much money and didn't even see the monster trucks. False advertisement from event website.

Where do I begin? Come on with the cancellation of your Bike event tonight! You give less than 24 hour notice about the cancellation of your Bike Night after shutting the entire month of February out to bikes? And when you do have drift and drag events you skip the rotation / line up in the staging lanes over the bikes for up to an hour, when bikes are on the track and out of the way in less than 2 minutes. People spend $150 on a can of MR12 for your events, spend time and money driving out to your track, spending $40 to get through the gates to sit in a tech line for over an hour, sometimes close to even two hours! To make it down the track less than a handful of times. Then you cancel the ONLY event that gives them the opportunity to really race and without any interruptions because the event is focused on bikes. Get a grip on the way you guys run your drag nights, or events period. It is the only drag strip available to many people ever since Speedworld closed down, you would think you guys would go above and beyond to keep the racing community at it's best and fair to everyone who comes out to support your track and keep it in business.

It was fun. We were sitting up in the boxed seats with all the food and drinks we wanted. My name was picked from a raffle to get to ride in a winning top car. That added to the fun!

This was my first time going to a Motor Sports park, but right off the bat it wasn't going well. My brother in law who was in town from ohio came in just to race his car here, and it didn't start till over an hour and a half later. They took FOREVER letting little kids race on their big wheels. I'm all for kids having fun, there was no sense of urgency for us adults that paid to race to get our chance. Bathrooms were clean, the one vendor truck they had for food was good, but it felt very unorganized and the announcer at times would randomly not know who was racing their names or info.

The monster madness event was a joke with tons of false advertising. Two food trucks short on menu items with hardly anywhere to sit! Giant kids zone a huge joke. Pay through the nose to get in then more money for four lame bouncers.

Was here for a Pro Autosports event. This is a great track and we all love racing here. My friends and I always have a great time every time we come here!

It has gotten out better since I first went when it barely opened up. The lines go much quicker, which allows for more passes down the track. 30$ it ok for the price as well. Good times.

False advertising! Advertised as a monster truck event but was really a drag race event with 15-20 minutes of monster trucks. The Monster truck event was suppose to start at 6 but monster trucks didn't come out til after 9:30. There was suppose to be a car show that started that started at 2 but there were barely any cars to qualify it as a car show and they were located in the "pit party" area that was an additional cost on the general admission ticket. The drag races started at noon, we got there at two and the same cars that raced early in the day also raced for half of the show, which made the day long and repetitive. The show was advertised with so much to do, but getting a snow cone was about the only highlight besides the drag races during the day that had long breaks of no action throughout. During the main event there were some drifter cars that put on a good show and some motorcycles that did wheelies, they were cool to see but not really a performance. The jet cars were pretty awesome to see. The kids section consisted of four small sized bounce houses for little kids. I did not see any games or prizes. Hardly any food vendors. Robosauraus was definitively the main event and worth it although it took hours to get there, it came out maybe around 10:30pm, which was hours past 6 when the show started. This event was either poorly planned or falsely advertised or both. I recommend not going all day and going to only the main show. Do not buy the premium ticket because they were not the best seats. The best seats were in general admission, that was were most of the show took place. Ear buds are a must because if nothing else the commentators voice will pierce through your ear by the middle of the show like a knife and the jet engine cars are extremely loud. And

hands down the worst parking fiasco we have ever been in. we have been sitting, literally not moving for over an hour after the nhra winter nationals...the most incompetent thing i have ever seen!!!
