We tried to make a reservation but they didn’t have any openings for several day. It was raining and we were on our way to another place and this had seats open downstairs. We decided to stop by. Despite the rain, it was very cozy. Folks from the neighborhood popped in and out. The food was delicious. The music playlist was quite good. The staff and guests were quietly singing along.

Really great and affordable tapas restaurant. The food came out quickly and portions sizes were really big. We had the meatballs, potatoes, chicken strips and asian salad and it was all delicious! A great way to try a few different dishes.

We had a really lovely dinner here tonight. Friendly, welcoming service with speedy delivery of food and drinks. The tapas dishes we selected, pork rib, popcorn chicken strips and meatballs all scrumptious. My frozen passionfruit margarita was too sour and lacking in tequila flavour but otherwise everything was perfect . Will come back on our next visit .

What a delightful find just steps from our apartment. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The tapas are not super traditional but every one was fresh, innovative and tasty. The bartender made a great Manhattan (not on the menu) and our server was friendly and took great care of us.

Really wanted to like it but couldn’t! The service is very good and the place is cute, but everything we ordered wasn’t great. Coffee tasted diluted, orange juice lacked the oomph, eggs Benedict needed more salt and balance (everything was texturally soft and mushy), Turkish eggs were decent but the whole dish did not go together well. The ingredients are fresh and portions are generous, but I wouldn’t go back.

Truly fantastic experience!! Excellent food & drinks to choose from. Highly recommend the Halloumi & pan fried chorizo. Delicous pulled pork Tacos. Fast delivery and service.

Food was the best we had on our trip to Barcelona!! The peking duck and pulled pork tacos were amazing and the wait staff were excellent and very welcoming. The outside seating is perfect for a drink on a warm night!!

Brunch here was amazing!! Service was great; waiters are very nice and attentive. Place is casual, very cozy, and has lots of light. Sat near a window and enjoyed looking outside as people passed by. The shakshuka was to die for!! Loved the flavor and kick in it. Super filling. The salmon eggs benedict was also amazing. Side of fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Also got a glass of orange juice!! Please stop by if you can! The food is amazing

[Food] - Lady Green Benedict (€11.95): I actually quite enjoyed this. I was craving for avocados so bad for brunch and this is the few dishes here or anywhere around that has it. Egg was beautifully poached. Bacon was nice and crispy. Salad was fresh and crunchy. - English Breakfast (€11.95): My favorite part of this dish were the scrumptious roasted tomatoes. Eggs were nice and runny. Decent English breakfast. No complaints. - Very Berry Banana Smoothie (€4.85): This was surprisingly good that I couldn't stop drinking my friend's smoothie! Not too sweet but still fruity, refreshing and creamy. [Service] - Friendly, attentive, but a bit slow - Indoor and outdoor seating were 2/3 filled so they were pretty busy especially when they seemed to only have like 5 employees at the time I went. One of the waitress also seemed new. [Ambiance] - Relaxed, clean, spacious [Overall] - Pretty decent place to eat at although I'd like to try out their dinner menu next time!

Had a great experience at Firebug; the service and food were great. We ordered the gyoza, charcuterie, and patatas bravas. The outside seating area is large, has a great vibe and is good for people watching. Everyone that worked there were happy and really seemed to enjoy what they do.

Back in the day, while visiting Spain for vacation, we did a quick pit stop into Firebug-grabbed a glass of wine along our travels- and were out- I realized I never posted a review, but felt I wanted to relay my experience. Maybe because Spain is all about slow enjoyment & rest, we didn't fit in, but trying to settle in, ordering only glasses of wine, to tuck ourselves away & socialize, we didn't feel overly welcomed when we didn't order a meal or more glasses- we really just stopped at one because it felt so uncomfortable to try to enjoy ourselves.

Loved the food, location and sitting outside close to the Arc de Triomfe in Barcelona.

The food here was so delicious, and fueled me for the day. I had a vanilla iced coffee and a shakshuka with gluten free bread. Overall menu was a bit more "American-ish " then other places with hamburgers and pastrami sandwiches. But I was with people who ordered both and they said they both tasted amazing

The duck is delicious. It is a riff on Peking duck. The meat is tender and shredded (reminded me or barbacuá.) The blueberry sauce is a bit less overwhelming than the traditional plum sauce can be. The charcuterie is also excellent, with jamón ibérico, chorizo and other delicious takes on cured pig I should add that I came back for breakfast the next day. I had the "Pennyfarthing." One suspects the term originated with the British. But for my fellow Yankees, it is a pancake with all the fixins. Bananas, jam, berries, nuts and syrup.

Best vacation brunch yet! Brenda is the best server! We enjoyed the nicely shaded outdoor seating. Food and drinks were perfect! We may need to return for dinner service before we head home. Yum!

Waiters made everything easy , food was delicious . The restaurant location and atmosphere was pleasing and perfect.

This restaurant does not disappoint. Everything is good and the service is excellent for Barcelona standards, ha ha Their burgers are yummy and the brunch looks delicious based on what the adjoining table ordered. Check it out!

My mom and I were perusing around after checking out Arc de Triumf and decided to eat here for brunch. They don't have a tapas menu during brunch so we went with the NY bagel and Asian chicken salad lol Surprisingly, the food here was really good. Ingredients tasted fresh and portions were huge. We shared a slice each of the New York bagel and split the Asian chicken salad. We washed it down with mimosas and they even gave us small sampler shots of the bloody mary which was eve more tasty! I wish I ordered the bloody mary but I also knew I did not want to break the seal later on lol The service was solid just as the wifi. Bathrooms are modern and clean located upstairs. For the Aemrican style brunch fare, this place was really good and a nice change actually from tapas lol

We loved the tapas and drinks at the Firebug. Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommended.

The minute you walk in, and go down the stairs, you are reminded of the wonderful places that used to exist in the early 1990s in Los Angeles, California. Five star food all around. Fully stocked bar for those who are in need. Generous portions of food. Freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. No Almond Milk (just a heads up) and the yelp coupon upon first check-in isn't available any longer. Also the Spanish customary tip isn't automatically included on the bill, you'll have to add that yourself. It's a lovely place for breakfast or brunch.

Came in for brunch, they have really nice outdoor seating and you can enjoy some nice people watching. Their coffee is excellent, I ordered a mocha and the whipped cream that came on it was delicious! The pancakes I got were ok, not as fluffy and tasty as they are in the US. Eggs benedict was GREAT, highly recommend getting that if you're a fan of benedict. Pretty well-portioned meals, definitely worth a visit.

Ummm! OMG, this Chorizo Hash with Eggs is tasting amazing! My spinach is wonderfully prepared, tasty and a robust flavor. I will get back but YES!

Very casual feel and the food and service was good. We sat outside and ordered drinks and tapas. The waiter was very friendly.

Everything here is amazing and has so much flavor!!! I ordered the Shakshuka for breakfast, and it tasted great. If I were to order something again, I would order a dish with meat. It didn't take long for the food to come out, and the server was very friendly. This is one of the best breakfast/brunch places in Barcelona!

Came to this location, based off a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. Cute small location, with tables outside, i would totally recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. We sat in a small square table outside on the sidewalk. The location is on a corner, so you have quite a bit to look at while you wait for your food. Menu is in English, with detailed descriptions, so you won't have a hard time making your decision. We attended for Breakfast, i had the Royal Benedict. MY was it delicious. Definitely can be shared between two persons, but i am a savage, and i had my own. The plate comes 2 poached eggs, on toasted chapata bread, with smoked salmon, and the most heavenly made hollandaise sauce on top, a side of home style potatoes, and a mixed green salad. I had a a cup of "freshly squeezed" orange juice as well. Loads of pulp, i was extremely happy. My sister had the "Benedict" which is your standard benedict. (similar to mine) it is two poached eggs, on toasted chapata bread, with smoked bacon, and the same heavenly hollandaise sauce. it is also served with a side of home style potatoes, and a fresh mixed greens salad.

Great spot for breakfast! The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The service was swift and attentive. There are options to sit inside or outside on the sidewalk off the Avenue. It was a great alternative to the traditional Spanish breakfast.

You can tell this is the kind of place that's maybe trying a little too hard to be trendy. In spite of that, it was pretty decent. We ordered the Chorizo Hash, Mediterranean Toast and the Devilled Crab. The Chorizo hash was tasty but the potatoes came out homestyle instead of hash as advertised. There was only 1 egg too which left it a little more bare than hoped. The devilled crab was tasty also but the crab meat was cold while everything else was hot, so it was a little strange. The poached eggs were bomb! The Mediterranean toast was delicious and a favorite at the table. We also got a side of pancakes too. They were fine. Imagine pancakes. And syrup. That's what it was. The place also filled up pretty fast, so clearly a popular spot.

Such an awesome breakfast/brunch place! Awesome ambiance and decor! The food is even better! I got the Shakshuka because everyone was raving about it on the reviews and they were not wrong! Must get the SHAKSHUKA!!!! My friends got the Turkish eggs which were delicious but a little smaller than mine and my other rue did got the eggs ranchero I believe it was great but mine was the best! So many flavors and soo filling! Loved it, so glad I got to try it while my time in Barca! They also had super fresh squeezed orange juice that I still think about to this day!

The check in cava special was no longer offered when we went but the service was great and the food was amazing. My fiancé and I ordered the chorizo hash which was amazing and the shakshana which was the perfect blend of flavor with a hint of spice. Not overbearing at all. We ordered bellinis and loved every second of our experience.

Amazing!! Wanted to eat here every day of my trip. Japanese sticky wings were incredible, tried fried egg french fries (ALSO amazing), and got the lemon butter shrimp (most amazing shrimp I had in bcn). Such a cute place to go for tapas and drinks with your friends. Super friendly waiters as well!

We were walking in the neighborhood and spotted this place. We were greeted at the door and were given the option to either dine outside, in the bar, or upstairs in their lounge. We opted for upstairs. The place has a warm vibe to it and played mostly Motown music while we were there. We sat at a table that was a bench on one side, chair on the other. Our waitress was over shortly after we were seated, presented us with menus, took our drink order, made a few recommendations and off she went. During our entire stay, she checked on us frequently and was polite and funny. Don't recall her name but she's originally from Brazil. We ordered Tapas, which were: Tandoori Seasoned roasted almonds - while tasty, there was just the slightest hint of Tandoori. Satay Chicken Skewers - Fanfuckingtastic! 3 pieces of chicken skewers with a side of coleslaw. Potatos Bravias - very good Not the best we've had while here, but still good. I'll definitely return before leaving.

Firebug was the the best food decision I made in Barcelona. I stumbled upon it while looking for a restaurant to eat for dinner later in the day but after seeing the menu and observing everyone eagerly waiting to be seated, I decided I needed it. The whole brunch menu was drool-worthy. I went with the shakshuka (they warned me it would be spicy) it was not spicy at all, but the flavor was great. The tomato sauce was super flavorful with onions and bell peppers, the eggs were cooked perfect and the bread served with it was hot and fresh. The presentation of all the plates were nothing but impressive. The service was a bit slow - it was a busy Saturday during brunch hours.

While on vaction my wife and I came here for lunch and had a nice experience. Very cool open atmosphere with a friendly staff. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but we opted to sit inside. For brunch I got the chorizo hash and it was delishous. Hash was cooked perfectly as well as the chorizo. Eggs were nice and fresh. Both my wife and I got espressos' which were also very good. Overall a great little spot to try.

Fire bug is such a fire place! This place is awesome and we Weill definitely come back here especially because of the food, friendly service, and the food! First off we came here pretty much right when they opened and they welcomed us, we were the first ones in the restaurant and were able to sit anywhere. We were greeted and even though there was a language barrier they were very patient with us. We ordered coffee first; I got a latte which was great, but my wife ordered a mocha coffee; not to sure of the name but it had whip cream on it and it was one of the best coffee's we had in Barcelona and we had a bunch. It wasn't just a coffee based, a little more on the sweeter side but it was just fantastic. We would just come back fo this coffee since It was so amazing. Now to the food; I got huevos rancheros and my wife got shakshuka Huevos rancheros was def a 4/5 At first it looked like a small plate but it was dense, had some great flavors and would def get it again. Did I mention the flavors, it was so good on a cold morning. Shakshuka 4.5/5 Would recommend this right away, the flavors to this dish were creamy, robust, and even light if that makes sense. It comes with two pieces of bread that you can dip into the shakshuka and it just makes it perfect. When we're back in Barcelona this is a spot we will def go to; it was our first time and we will def be coming back.

Great service, great ambiance and great food. As a Canadian tourist, this place reminds me a lot the North American culinary. The brunch was delicious with some Spanish flavor. I had their eggs benny and apple pie. The ambiance was pretty nice. Cozy, spacious. Perfect to chill out with some friends. Service was above average. People was nice and helpful.

I LOVE this restaurant. It's my third time coming here and I already know I will be back again. I even came here for my birthday. To begin with- the food- it is indescribably "delicioso" in my opinion. The fish tacos which are pictured are amazing. Definitely use the corn salsa and sauces on the side because they add so much flavor. Also the patatas bravas here are hands down - the best - patatas bravas I've had in Spain so far. The eggs and chorizo sausage are an excellent touch and this dish literally bursts with flavor. For dessert, I can't recall the name of the sundae but it's the only sundae on the menu, and I would definitely recommend getting it. However, it is usually made with vanilla ice cream, but trust me, ask for the raspberry sorbet as pictured (picture attached), it's phenomenal. Also the servers here are very nice and usually fairly quick. One of the waiter's was aware it was my birthday so he gave me a glass of "cava" (champagne) on the house. This restaurant is also very close to Arc de Triomf which I walked to afterwards. Definitely come here, you won't regret it.

So.... I'm in Barcelona and I find this restaurant... and yet I order a (according to the menu) a Mexican dish. Good thing I did, because their huevas rancheros is so damn good. I actually came at night to eat it a second time on the SAME day... but then they had a different menu at night. It was still good, more tapas and whatnot. However, the real reason to come is for their brunch. Anyway, I'm a fan and I'll come back when I'm in Barcelona again!

Loved this place! Decor is cozy and fun! Service was excellent. This was our first stop after settling into hotel upon arrival. Great breakfast/brunch! The scrambled eggs were so good and the bacon was delicious and more like ham slices. The hot chocolate was amazing. The potatoes were really good. They were accommodating when my Daughter asked for plain pancakes and she enjoyed them. The pastrami sandwich was good. Even the mimosas were great! Highly recommend this restaurant. Very inviting while also having great food & drinks. Located near Arc de Triumf.

Such a neat spot! Loved the atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly, the food was DELISH Came here for brunch and I had the Mediterranean toast and my friend had the crab. We both enjoyed our dishes and I'm pretty sure we're coming back tomorrow.

We came here for breakfast on day 2 of our stay in Barcelona. This too was an amazing meal. The staff were very quick and kind. The place was trendy and modern inside. The food! They were works of art. Not only did they taste amazing they looked beautiful. A lot of pride went into plating. I had the Mediterranean Toast which had poached eggs, avocado and salad with flower pedals. My wife tried the French toast. The bread was very thick and yet perfectly cooked. We chased that down with excellent lattes and the most delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. Our goal when traveling is to eat at many places, not usually going more than once, but it was so good my wife came back the next morning without my to try their banana pancakes. Again a work of art and very filling.

A great brunch spot in Barcelona with indoor and outdoor seating. Being a lovely day, we chose to sit outside. Unfortunately, we could not take advantage of the Yelp check in offer as it's not valid on Friday, but no biggie. The brunch menu is quite "American style" if that's a thing? As in, if you've been in Barcelona for some time and are sick of jamón, tapas y pintxos, you will probably be happy to eat here. I ordered their banana pancakes with a side of bacon and my partner ordered the shakshuka with a side of pancakes. The pancakes were seriously fluffy and I loved all the banana pieces studded in between. For the price, I didn't get a huge amount of bacon but it was perfectly crispy. I tried a bite of the shakshuka and it was great. Lots of flavor with great balance of the seasoning and spices.

This was my first eatery on my first visit ever to Barcelona and it didn't disappoint. We had about 6 hours to kill and yelped this place almost a mile away from our hotel Near Pobleneau area. They have indoor and outdoor seating but because it was a very hot day and had just walked a mile, we opted for indoor seating with ac. The staff was very friendly and the vibe inviting. My wife had the pancakes, my son had the salmon bagel, and I had the chorizo and potato plate and everything was delicious. I had done a little research on the tipping but was still a little bit apprehensive of just rounding up instead of giving a percentage. Coming from LA, tipping is a big deal and I didn't want to offend. The bill came and paid on visa, thinking I could figure out the tip part after the transaction but unfortunately that was too late. So apparently in Europe, you have to tell them how much to add when the bill comes and before the transaction. The young man was very helpful and was more than happy with ending the transaction there but then asked him for change and tipped $5 e on a $47 bill. May have been too much but I appreciated the lesson which prepared me for the rest of my trip. I definitely will be back and would recommend this place to my fellow yelp friends.

We came here for breakfast on our first day. We were seated outside on a beautiful day. Our waiter recommended the huevos rancheros. I was not disappointed. Large portion and sooo tasty. My wife ordered the avocado toast. She loved every bite. We discovered a nice upstairs room with a view. Perhaps we will have breakfast their tomorrow. Thank you

Friends, if you find yourselves in Barcelona (lucky yous) DO NOT MISS cocktails at Firebug. Or tapas. Do not miss Firebug in any case. Food too gorgeous to stop and snap a pic, and the cocktails oh my goodness oh my my my. The man is gifted. Fresh juices, dark liquors, sweet and sour and sexy potions are all to be had. Makes any night far less than ordinary. And the playlist tonight is the 80s. It's just too much perfection to handle on my own.

This is a must visit if you haven't been there yet...!!! The decor is simply amazing, we were greeted by staff on arrival and given tables quickly. We ordered a bunch of items and everything was simply mouth-watering! Do try their guacamole. Our stomachs were full but not our appetite, I wish we could eat more :)

Firebug was one of our favorite experiences when we visited Barcelona! My mother & I were looking for a place to grab some brunch & found this place not far from our Airbnb. We were seated as soon as we walked in & quickly made friends with our host / server Cristian. He was such a sweetheart and so friendly to us! We ordered the french toast and the shakshuka which were both beyond delicious! The orange juice and smoothies we also ordered were lovely. Everyone was so lovely & if it weren't our last day, we would have most definite let been back!

Absolute new favorite in Barça! Had brunch here one day and had to come back for dinner for my bday. The experience was marvelous, from the service to the drinks, apps and tapas were all incredible. Breakfast brioche burger hit the spot, Mediterranean toast was perfection, one of the better macchiatos I've had. Dinner was packed with complex flavor combos, protein cooked to tender perfection and everything was to die for!

Yum yum yum! What I would give for that delicious brunch right now! I came here when I was visiting some friends in Barcelona and was not disappointed. I ordered the eggs benny and it was just amazing. On the side were potatoes that were seasoned to perfection and an amazing little salad. All of this mixed together with the cute little booth we sat in was just a dream. I was so content and it was not overpriced! And they have Sriracha. My friend told my to get a Bloody Mary but I'm afraid of that so (stupidly) I didn't order one. I tried his and would have that drink every time I had a meal. It was very unique and not the usual watery-tomato taste that a Bloody Mary never fails to deliver. The caramelized piece of bacon was an amazing touch. Even though this drink was €8, it is worth the money for sure, I mean I wrote a whole paragraph on it.

Stopped here for a late dinner. They have very unique dishes on their menu. We got the fried avocado, drunken shrimp, and duck with blueberry hoisin sauce. I would say all three are must-trys. They also had a lot of other interesting items on the menu, but my stomach isn't big enough! I see a lot of people stop here for brunch but do come check out their dinner too!

What a great place for breakfast/early lunch. Variety of eggs made on different styles, sweet breakfast and they also have burger on the menu. I also tried their smoothie with spinach and banana. Simply yami all of it. We sat outside because of nice weather. But the inside interior is just lovely.

My shakshuka was overcooked(well-done eggs? The worst) and they messed up our order. They brought out 'badass burrito' instead of 'deviled crab'. Also they forgot to take off the wrong order from the bill. What a shame.

Ordered the crab egg Benedict and it was hands down the best Benedict I've ever eaten! A lot of places can't get the muffin right, either it's too hard or way too hard. Firebug's muffin has perfected it!
