My wife has been eating here for years, usually lunches with her gal pals while on shopping trips. It's taken her the same number of years to get me in the front door. It's a coffee house with popular breakfasts and lunches. It screams hipster....hence my reluctance. After her solid argument about the number of breweries I've dragged her into over the years, what could I do but relent. Her favorite meal is the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and apricot mayo, on cranberry-walnut bread and is usually accompanied by a cup of creamy potato-bacon soup. I have to admit, unusual as it sounds, the lunch was very good. I might of even enjoyed the place if I hadn't had to watch an x/y-gen sitting at a nearby lunch table that seats 4 working on her computer and drinking a cup of coffee...the same cup she was drinking when we arrived; the same cup when we left over an hour later (yes, the lunch service was slow). With people waiting for a table to eat their lunch, she defined the word "entitled". With couches and coffee tables or 2 person tables available for computer use, there she sat in all her hipster splendor, oblivious to any semblance of courtesy. I can't hold the management responsible for their inconsiderate customers (I met and liked the owner), so I will let my wife talk me into another of these unique and tasty sandwiches but ... I will wear my x/y-gen blinders.
Post script: My wife wants to amend this review by detailing my grouch tendencies, but I assure you, I am a truly pleasant baby boomer.
