Nice place. Great bar. Atmosphere is a good place to hang around. The food is ok, but nothing special. The atmosphere and bar service make up for the food.

The restaurant is beautiful! I love the lighting and overall design. The food is consistently super good, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I’ve been coming in more often lately, and each time I’m even more impressed. I wanted to update my review because of that! They had a Harry Potter theme week in Keene in the past, and Fireworks absolutely nailed it! The themed menu was so fun, the drinks were creative (mine even had glitter and came with a souvenir!), and the atmosphere was magical. Beyond the fun, what really stands out is the teamwork. The staff here works together so well, and you can feel the positive energy. The menu is creative and diverse …. while it’s known for pizza and pasta, I have to say the salmon dish is by far my favorite in all of Keene! Thanks to the whole team for making every dining experience a great one. I truly appreciate what you do!

Google
The bartender and wait staff were exceptional. I ordered the Pork Milanese with risotto and a side salad. The salad was good but the pork was life changing. Perfectly crisp on the outside and done to perfection on the inside. The risotto was exceptional as well. To accompany, I had an “Old Money” cocktail (or so) which paired exquisitely with the meal. I may go back tomorrow, it was that good!

Google
It was popular and active on Friday night. We didn't have reservations (recommended) but were able to get two seats at the bar. The music was enjoyable party music. Everything was a little loud where we were. Very happy and attentive wait staff and bartenders. Gluten free pizza was as good as it gets. The risotto cake with mushrooms appetizer was very good.

Arrived in Keene hungry and late in the afternoon and only had time for a quick bite. Ordered a pizza to curb my hunger, not really expecting much. I was so wrong. My wife orders with a smile “The Italian Stallion”. Hmmm. Service was quick. Atmosphere, early evening with soft lighting. The Italian Stallion pizza scored big.

Google
Was an awesome meal! Asked for a rare burger and it came out bright pink and juicy. Partner's steak, asparagus, and brussel sprouts were amazing. Loved the service. Super chill place. Great food.

Google
We had reservations Friday night before going to a show at the Colonial. It was very busy (good for you). Service was good. She forgot to bring us plates for the bread w/olives. We’re all pretty chill, so that was no big deal. It was delicious. My husband, daughter & her husband were very happy with their meals. I ordered probably the most simple meal—a chicken Caesar wrap. There was No chicken or Caesar dressing, just lettuce, croutons & the wrap. We got it 20 minutes before show time, so rushed to eat. I had 1/2 the wrap & boxed the rest. I wasn’t going to be home the next day, so gave my box to my daughter. She called the next night to confirm there was no chicken 😳

Google
We had a 15 person surprise graduation party for my daughter and it was the best evening ever! The service was amazing, Paige was lovely and took care of all our needs. We’re going to fireworks for years and it is our go to whenever we want really great cocktails in this lovely delicious food. And they know how to party!🎉

Yelp
The restaurant has an intimate and modern vibe. Depending on what section of the restaurant you are in can curate the experience further. The service is always excellent, staff is friendly, present themselves well and are very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. A great gem in Keene for good Italian food. The basil pesto sauce on my gnocchi is so delicious, paired with the fresh ricotta, too good! The meatball appetizer was also delicious, red sauce was deliciously seasoned and flavorful without being over spiced or too salty. The creator of this menu knows what they are doing.

Yelp
Fireworks has great ambience and service ++ I had pizza and Caesar and glass of house red. With a wood fired oven as a signature I feel like the pizzas should be much better. (The crust and cheese are underdone for my taste). They are just OK. I appreciate that they offer a house red at $6/glass. Crème brûlée for dessert. The crème was very loose. Just different than expected.

Yelp
Chris our server was funny and attentive. I love the openness of the dining room and the cocktails were great. We both chose the lemon chicken which was cooked perfectly with the potatoes. I would like to see them have several Different types on bread in the bread board appetizer. Every try I g else was great. We will be back!

Yelp
We stayed in Keene one night while traveling back to Mass from VT. Fireworks was recommended by our airbnb host and a family member who had been in the area. We made an 8pm reservation on a Saturday night and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Our table was in the main restaurant, but we would request a table by the window or outside next time. It just looked really pretty by the window. For food, I ordered the pizza factory chicken chopped salad. It was very good and came with feta, chicken and pepperoni. My son had the margarita pizza. He wasn't a fan of the fresh tomatoes on the pizza, but I had a slice and thought it was pretty good. My other son had a burger and mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the lemon chicken. We all loved our meals. There were a lot of good options on the menu. We will be back the next time we're in Keene.

Yelp
I went to the fireworks restaurant next-door to my hotel in Keene, New Hampshire. I wanted a rusty nail cocktail, but they didn't have any Drambuie. The bartender said he would make something similar and it was a perfect match to what I wanted. I had the homemade mushroom and potato soup, which was delicious. I had the Osso Buco, which was wonderful and came with garlic, mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. And I tried the apple crisp with ice cream on it and it was wonderful. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Yelp
Really enjoyable dinner for my husband and me. After a very long day of travel - marked with less than ideal snack eating - we were ready for proper food to prepare us for our next day marathon. I found Fireworks after searching for recommended Italian restaurants (surprisingly not many in the area). We ended up not ordering pasta at all, opting instead for the plank grilled salmon. It was Asian-inspired, with a miso rice cake and Brussels sprouts. Delicious and a HUGE serving!!! We also ordered a local beer. Fortunately for pumpkin lagers are on tap and loved up to the hype. This is a popular place. We didn't have reservations, but the bar had open seating and since we're in our grandparent meal era, we were able to grab a chair at 5pm without issues.

Yelp
Wandered into this spot as the first big snowstorm of the season was approaching, and it was perfectly snug, warm, and cozy, with food to match, for a cold traveler. We had a bread board (just all kinds of bread + butter!), and I enjoyed a tomato cheddar soup cup. Our server seemed ready to go home, but with the impending weather, that was understandable, and it was still a pleasant experience overall. I would definitely return under better circumstances and try more of the menu!

Yelp
Brisket burger was awesome and the wraps were very good too. Bacon cheesy fries were tasty! Great atmosphere inside also. Staff were very friendly and quick with the orders.

Yelp
Great drinks. Calamari was so good. Beautiful decor. Service was timely. Disappointed by the risotto. It was a special for the day. The flavor was fantastic but it wasn't risotto it was leftover white rice. Steak was done to perfection. Burger under cooked. Should have sent it back.

Yelp
The service is great! There is one waiter that is super funny and nice, I always order a water and he says "I make a great water!" And it is super funny. The Neapolitan pizza is amazing. The one thing that makes this a 4 star not a 5 is that the calamari is not very good. It is super dry and is very salty. It's sort of like rubber. But over all everything is great.

Kathy K.

Yelp
Service.. Spot on Location.. Excellent Atmosphere.. Yes Food.. Not so much Neapolitan pizza was like a dried out piece of pita bread. Medium rare steak was well done. Third time here, first time the food was ok, second time excellent, this time ... nope

Yelp
The bill alone will tell you how this place does business. Asking customers to pay their employees health insurance and then nickel and diming them just for asking for a very small cup of sauce without being told so. It should be the employers responsibility to pay the health benefits of their employees, not the customer's responsibility. I don't like to patronize restaurants with owners like this... if anything, this should be disclosed before hand.... Thank goodness I ordered just a pizza, imagine if I was in a group with the bill being over $100?! I will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Manager said tbe reason I was charged for a small cup of marinara is that they are just like any other business and if you want more sauce you gotta pay for it. Luckily this week I went to a different restaurant and they did not nickel and dime me for more sauce! I'll be telling people to go there!

Yelp
If you read my last review of this restaurant, you might ask why I would ever try this place again. Well, occasionally, I get too tired to cook for myself and wanted a pizza on a Monday night. Fireworks being open, and by the photographs of their pizza, it appeared I had the best chance of getting something decent. Well, I was wrong. I ordered a Neapolitan pizza. I got dried-out tomato sauce on top of a cardboard box-like crust with some fresh mozz and basil that had gone by. This was the driest, most unflavorable piece of garbage I've ever eaten that resembled a pizza. I'm not sure how somebody actually makes that and puts it in a box and gives it to a customer and charges money for it. I will never ever come back to this place again for any reason whatsoever. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Cook for yourself. Do anything but give them money for the garbage they put out.

Yelp
Food was great, brisket burger, wow. Good selection of beer even a Maine beer. Service was great!

Yelp
The food is pretty good, but over priced. It is nice that they reopened, but I was hoping the food and cost prices would be a bit better

Matt C.

Yelp
Has nice thin crust pizza. I really like their mushroom pizza. The place can be really dark at night with the mood light and menus cane hard to read.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant a few times over the years and had some good food. Ate there Saturday night with family and it was horrible a ten year old could have cooked a better meal. I had a steak that was drowning in a bourbon sauce that wasn't cooked off. There was so much sauce you couldn't even distinguish what was on the plate and all you could taste was bourbon. Mashed potatoes like I've never seen in my life just like Elmer's glue when you scooped some up they just hung on your fork. My husband and daughter both had pasta that was barely warm hardly any sauce and dry dry dry. I wish I had just sent it back ,The whole meal with tip 150.00 for the two of us I just didn't want to cause a seen. I told the waitress about the food and all she had to offer was I'm sorry I'll tell the chef. I don't know what is going on there but any good chef never would have sent that food out. Won't be going back.

Yelp
Our first and last time here. 45 mins to get apps, Calamari was a tiny portion and rubbery. Risotto cakes were nice. 75 mins to get entrees. Had the pork chop special. The small chop was 75% fat. When asked how my meal was, I gave an honest answer to my server. She came back and told me the chef said they are trying a local farm and the chops have been inconsistent, yet they are still serving them and charging $25. They did take 50% off the entree however the manager never took the time to come over to the table. Also, be aware that refills on soda and ice tea are not free. $130 bill for a sub par meal that took far too long to come out of the kitchen. Need to do better!

Yelp
Great Food & Great Events!! Bring the whole family, and enjoy a great breakfast lunch or dinner! we had a lot of fun at the Drag show & brunch. Service was spot on, and the food was delicious

Yelp
Me and some friends decided to go to Fireworks for dinner. One of my friends ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I assumed this would be an easy dish that wouldn't have any issues. However, after we left my friends stomach started hurting. He ended up vomiting up all of the food and laying in bed sick for the next few days. DO NOT ORDER THE SPAGHETTI!

Yelp
Nice ambien, food was good, clean, good service, what can I ask more right? It attached to a hotel, neat location, will definetely come back

Yelp
Amazing service, I came here after a swim meet and the food was amazing. I had the bolognese and it was really good. The appetizers were also really good. Our server was really sweet and did an amazing job with giving us details about the dishes and drinks on the menu, and gave her honest opinions. I would definitely come back here.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service, Lauren and Adam were absolutely amazing. We had a party of 50 people and everything went seamlessly and it was fantastic.

Harvey P.

Yelp
The food is a 4 star but we had to wait far too long for our food. One entree came 75 minutes after we were seated and the remaining entrees about 10 minutes later. The restaurant was about half full so the kitchen should not have been that busy. Not sure I would return.

Yelp
Lucas and his team did a fantastic job with our mother's 70th birthday gathering. We had well over a dozen people including 2 small children. They were very accommodating and flexible with us, while being extremely attentive. We were lucky to land the long table in the back that abuts the living room style seating area, which worked out quite well for the roaming toddler and a few full sized adults that couldn't sit still (myself included). Highly recommend for a larger group, we called ahead. Thank you all for having us. Also the food was fantastic and the drinks were showstoppers with the smoked old fashioned presentation and all the offerings in the "mocktail" category.

Kevin S.

Yelp
we went there for lunch today (5 of us ) and there was a miscue with our orders and we had to wait quite a long time for the meals ( which were awesome) , I was a bit unhappy about the wait and was kinda rude to the waiter and the manager (hangry ) . But the manager went above and beyond and was very gracious about the miscue , and comped us free drinks and apps ,, I really love it when a manager does such a good job and does it professionally. Thanks again and I will be back

Yelp
Keene New Hampshire is one of those towns where your choices are pretty vast. It's not a big town, but it's trendy and hip and attracts people that are a lot cooler than myself. Having a daughter at the local college means semi-regular visits and semi-regular dining out opportunities. At this point, we've hit enough of the obvious options to start forming a list of "go-to" favorites. This place is definitely up there. The layout of the place is kind of unique as it's attached to a hotel, and if you happen to need a restroom, you will see exactly what I'm talking about. Overall we're fans of the whole atmosphere and ambiance here. Even when it's hopping, it still seems pretty quiet and relaxing. Food options are pretty varied but honestly, we haven't gone much deeper than the pizzas, and that's with good reason...THEY'RE AWESOME! We've had probably 8 or 9 different varieties and they're all amazing. Even better the next day, which is a plus. Beyond that, my daughter had dabbled with Mac N' Cheese and burgers a couple of times and has never been disappointed. I can pretty confidently say that no matter what you order, you'll be happy. I would be HEAVILY remiss not to mention the Charcuterie appetizer. That's one of those things that I will order no matter where I'm at if I see it on a menu and can ALSO pretty confidently say that I'm well versed in the world of Charcuterie. Consensus on this one? Top 5 ever. Trust me on this. We will still dabble and try other and new spots in town, but for the time being, this will be our number one choice in Keene.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner because it was a quick walk from my hotel. The bar had some openings so I decided to sit there instead of a table by myself. The bartenders where kind and courteous. The tap list had a variety of different beer styles and the menu looked to have something for everyone. I went with a DIPA from Mason's Brewery and the NY Strip with brussels sprouts. The beer was tasty, the food was very good... seasoned well. The temperature didn't match throughout the entire meal, the sprouts where pretty hot in temp while the steak and beans seemed to have sat for a little bit. Overall a nice place and I would come back and eat here for dinner when if I am ever back in the area.

Stephen R.

Yelp
We visited Fireworks for dinner. My wife had a vegetable dish and I ordered a hamburger. Both dishes were "ok". The restaurant was crowded. It appears to be a great place for drinks and appetizers.
google avatar

Megan K.

Yelp
Baby, you're gonna be a firework when you walk in here. The smell of deliciousness fills your senses when you walk in, and we were fortunate to sit in the booth closest to the oven (a little hot, but so worth it). I had the blueberry lemonade special, but there was a bit too much mint and basil added for my liking...so I took it out and then it was perfect. I then ordered a special of quail with polenta, my friend had grilled chicken, and other friend had a veggie pizza. We then split the death by chocolate cake and some tiramisu. Heaven on a plate. The atmosphere was chill, the decor was gorgeous, and it was a very pleasant evening here. Will definitely recommend to my family/friends staying in Keene for my wedding next month.

Ann D.

Yelp
What a great place , highly recommend the hangar steak it is awesome, great food, excellent service!
google avatar

Melly M.

Yelp
I wish they had more healthy items to offer on the menu, I found the menu to be a little plain, all I remember seeing was pizza and salad, and maybe few other entrees to choose from. It took me a long time to decide since choices were limited, I eventually settled with Jumbo shrimp risotto. Food tasted decent but not something I'd rave about. Keene is a little charming town, I wish Fireworks would share some of that charm but it was not as memorable. I'd rate this place a 3.5.
google avatar

Ron P.

Yelp
To start, we had a reservation, we showed up more or less on time and we were seated within 1 minute. That's a star where I come from. We were a family of 5 so I got to try a bunch of different dishes. Calamari, good but not great. Short Ribs over polenta...great ribs, polenta just OK. The pizza was a special of the day with (I think) fig jam and bacon...awesomeness on a plate. Gnochhi was very tasty. Planked salmon with crispy rice...dude, patent that crispy rice. I LOVE that stuff. The salmon was great too! And my Bloody Mary was outstanding. All in all, if you're in Keene, do yourself a favor and eat here!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a great dinner while traveling for work. Cheri was the bartender and server working the whole place. She did an amazing job catering to everyone . Awesome service!!!. Thank you Cheri

Yelp
Fireworks was one of my favorite Brattleboro restaurants and I was sad when they closed (later reopened as something equally delicious but that's another review). I had missed the hearth-baked pear so I had that which never fails to satisfy. I also had the Texas burger (tasty). Great service, fast delivery of our food, and despite the ongoing Covid-19 general unease about eating inside, a good atmosphere.
google avatar

Ashlee P.

Yelp
Love Fireworks! I recently stopped in here with some friends and sat at the bar. We went in an hour before closing and they didn't rush us at all. We ordered a margarita pizza and Caesar salad to split and it was delicious. We also said we wanted to do a shot (how fun of us, right?!) and the bartender was happy to create something for us. We had another drink after that while chatting with the bartenders. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. I actually had my rehearsal dinner here in 2016 and it was wonderful. Wouldn't have changed a thing! They only have street parking but I never have a problem finding a spot. Don't forget to pay the meter!

Matt R.

Yelp
Stopped in for a burger with a friend. Burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly. The star of the show, however, was our server, Savannah. She was truly excellent, and I say this as a retired chef of 28 years - with high standards. Here's the plot twist: great servers are hard to come by, but as it turns out, this was Savannah's FIRST TIME BEING A SERVER! I was very impressed and so was my friend, who himself worked as a cook for about 10 years. Way to go, Savannah! We were super happy with everything. Newbie servers aren't supposed to be that comfortable or skilled at doing that job. I found myself giving level 5 coaching to a level 1 server and I was happy about it. I'd hire this girl anywhere customer service is important, especially sales. We had a great time and I hope they stick you with great shifts at Fireworks.
google avatar

Tracy S.

Yelp
Had my first dinner here a couple weeks ago. Thumbs up for the cheery staff and nice ambience! Sadly, the food left me completely underwhelmed. The Southern fried chicken was from a South I don't recognize. It was dry as a bone, apparently reheated, and the gravy tasted like bouillon instead of sausage. My iced tea wasn't refilled until we were nearly ready to leave, which I put down to them being busy, but I needed to wash down that chicken.
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
Solid place for a drink and a bite. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, offering table service, bar seating, or large chesterfield couches and chairs. The drink menu is varied and interesting, with spins on popular cocktails as well as original creations. The wine list is also manageable but thoughtful, organized between cheap, food, great, and staff choice. The menu caters to all kinds of tastes (though I think someone has a fascination with black olives). I ordered the NY strip, and the kitchen accommodated my keto lifestyle by substituting the mashed potatoes for roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything tasted great. The steak was cooked perfectly (though the fat cap was tough), medium rare. It was a nice size cut too, leaving me leftovers for breakfast. Service was also very good. Matthew our server was attentive but not hovering, and other people periodically asked if we needed anything. The cost for 2 cocktails, a glass of wine, and a steak was under $50. Not bad. Next time we come to Keene, we'll consider this our backup if we don't find something new and interesting.

Yelp
Sadly, this isn't the restaurant it once was. And it has nothing to do with COVID. Our hostess was very nice and sat us right away. Our waiter did his very best with what he had. The main problems were with the food quality coming out of the kitchen and what appeared general mid management. Our waiter advocated for us that my steak was the 4th of the night to be sent back. Tables around us received incorrect meals. It's unfortunate because this use to be a great place. I hope they can turn it around.
google avatar

Blanch N.

Yelp
I normally enjoy this restaurant however the past few visits have been very disappointing so I can no longer recommend it. I went this evening with my family we waited two hours for our food and ended up having to take half of it to go because we had other plans. I ordered a salad with salmon which is not exactly appealing as a "to go" dish.... another person got salad with chicken on it which came out like a hockey puck. My son ordered a pizza and never ate a slice in the restaurant...Not a single word of apology from the manager they didn't even check in with our table or offer to comp it. The waitress did as well as she could and it was not her fault but the kitchen was overheard cursing the entire evening (In front of a table full of children) spend your money elsewhere there are other nice restaurants in Keene

Yelp
We dined at Fireworks the night before the Clarence DeMar marathon, and absolutely loved this place! Located right on Main Street, a seat along the windows or outside on the sidewalk is perfect for some great people watching. Service was quick and friendly and they kept the drinks coming! For appetizers, we shared the mussels in a garlic broth with sautéed onions and tomatoes, as well as a small pizza with Gorgonzola cheese, shiitake mushrooms and asparagus. Both were incredible! We also each had a half spinach salad, topped with almonds, dried cranberries and goat cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette. It came loaded with goat cheese and was so tasty! Then for my entree, I had the bolognese with homemade pappardelle pasta. It was well seasoned and the texture of the pasta was so rich and wonderful. Loved this place - absolutely perfect Italian food with some creative twists!

Yelp
Fireworks has some super unique food and cocktails. They have a hearth baked feta appetizer that is to die for. Their pizzas are amazing and cooked perfectly in their brick oven. Burgers and steaks are always done exactly how you ask. Sunday's, they have a wonderful brunch menu that offers a decent variety of options. They also have a morning cocktail menu.

Yelp
Place was not busy, Food took forever!! Ordered Diet coke, received regular coke. Pizza was COLD. not much of an apology other than "it's busy". Not impressed
google avatar

Yelp
Great meal and great friendly service. Kisha served us on the bar side and was very attentive. Papperdrell with mushrooms and home made sausage was fantastic. Also had the greens with salmon and it too was. tremendous. Give it a try.

Yelp
Minor glitch in service lead to a free salad. Very good food, nice ambiance, reasonable prices, Heather the waitress made it up.

Yelp
I had reservation for my family's special celebration, they gave us worst table on the back .We were waiting more than 45 minutes for our food and it wasn't good .The guy was sweeping the floor next to us and cleaning while we were eating.Never will be back

Yelp
Fireworks continues to be one of our favorite go to restaurants...we love their pizza...their mushroom and cheese is sooooooo good...but there's so much more to choose from. Gorgeous hamburgers, beautiful pastas, and such a lovely array of salads can usually please everyone in our party. A recent favorite was gnocchi with duck and squash...oh my goodness! We love being surprised with their inventive cocktails...and you can[t leave without dessert...take your pick but we love their cheesecake any day!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Both relaxing and dressy. People can and do wear everything here. The service on this night was the best ever. RYAN is both friendly, knowledgeable and spot on with his timing. There when we needed him and he gave us space when we were discussing a heavy subject. The baked feta app sounds odd - but don't doubt - try it and you will thank me later. LOVE Fireworks and Ryan. If there is more than one Ryan he is the one with black framed glasses and matching dark hair.
