Managed to get a table after visiting the Eiffel Tower. This is little gem of a restaurant which is located a short walk away ( less than 5 minutes) was amazing. We had a 3 set menus which were a decent price considering the location and the view. They have terrace seating open from April to end of summer from which you can gaze upon the eiffel tower. The food was amazing and out of this world. The ingredients were fresh and the cooking was innovative and tasty. We had snails, salad, pork terrine, risotto, fish pie, sausage among other traditional dishes. The host and the chef were friendly and accommodating ( they allowed my 2 kids to share a set menu). Highly recommended and the food was out of this world and definitely worth the price. The wine selection was good too and can be paired with the dishes. Do reserve ahead if you want a terrace seat. Indoors seating is nice and atmospheric too. Overall this is great for families (though they don't have a dedicated kids menu), couples or foodies. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We loved this restaurant. The food was exquisite. There was only one chef behind the open kitchen counter, and he was crafting something special and beautiful with every course we were served. The sauces were amazing, with a unique and distinct flavor I had never tasted before. We were seated at 7:30 and stayed until 10, but we had no sense of time as we savored every bite and enjoyed the experience. It's unbelievable that just one person was cooking the food at its finest.

Beautiful evening last week, the food was excellent,my partners dietary restriction was catered to by the genius chef . All 3 people at the table where very happy with the food . great view of the Eiffel tower when you leave , would return and would recommend. Only 3 staff two owners and a helper in the kitchen but that's all they need only downside no coke or coke zero served two disappointed people on our table but the food definitely made up for it

Fantastic find .. the food is amazing ! The host was lovely !!! Husband wife duo (the chef is her husband) very friendly ! Best part- there’s an outdoor street dining section with the most beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower !!! A hidden gem of a restaurant !!!

The best restaurant I had in my trip! It is a small but lovely place. The server is very kind and hospitable. The beef flank steak was well matched with the sauce, you can taste the best flavour of the steak in your mouth. The steamed cod fish was cooked perfectly, it melted in my mouth. The meringue was crispy and light-weight so it was perfect matched with the pomelos wedges and cream. You can also eat outside and view the beautiful Eiffel Tower!

Google
We were looking for somewhere to eat after visiting the Eiffel Tower and found this place a stone's throw away. The restaurant is small and cosy and has a fantastic view of the tower. It's run by just two people (1 chef, 1 waitress). The food was outstanding. I had the bream and my gf had duck breast with fried foie gras and we were blown away by how nice both dishes were. We finished off with the chocolate hazelnut mouse, which was equally delicious. We would 100% go back.

Google
The food was absolutely amazing. I got escargot, black rice & tapioca for dessert. Our server gigi was the nicest person ever which made our experience even better. You get an amazing view of the eiffel tower on the terrace. Overall 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone!

Google
A small little restaurant just a quick walk away from the Tower. Food ingredients were all very fresh and well seasoned. Featuring mostly in season special ones too. The salad with a special seasoning just tasted special and unique. A bit of sourness and a bit of sweetness. The pork in pink tasted so well and the mushrooms were really mouth watering, juicy, intense. Dessert were ok and well prepared but would prefer a traditional crème brûlée than a slighted twisted one, still good. Server was extremely helpful and cheerful. Price was reasonable considering the area and the ingredients and options. Nice outdoor seating too. Last but not least, a guaranteed good photo with the Tower.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing! I can't wait to go back and try the escargot again, we shared all of our dishes and had a lovely time watching the Eiffel Tower light up. The wine was perfectly chilled and each dish had a taste of love in it.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible! My friends and I visited Paris for a weekend and our original dinner plans fell through, so we stumbled upon Firmin le Barbier. This was hands down not only the best dinning experience we had during our whole trip, but the best food!! We all loved every bit of our meal, truly the tastiest and freshest food. For the most part the service everywhere we went was slow, but not here! The owner was not only incredibly attentive but SO kind. She was happy to let us sit there all night and just enjoy the view and experience. Truly the kindest person! Now the view, WOW! It didn't get much better than this. Sitting outside and having the tower sparkle in the background while we enjoyed an amazing dinner experience. Truly cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you are visiting Paris and want an amazing dining experience and an incredible view, please visit Firmin le Barbier!!

Yelp
If I could give 10 stars I would! This sweet small restaurant is charming, perfectly located and the best meal we had while in Paris! Gigi the owner was kind and attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her too. I had the truffle pasta and my husband had the flank steak, both cooked to perfection. The truffle sauce was just the right amount of richness. Chocolate mousse was light and delicious! We loved it!

Rick H.

Yelp
I can't say enough about the service and the food. We were late for our reservation and my kids were tired and hungry and they still accommodated us. But the food. Best food we had in Paris and we ate at a lot of fine restaurants. Get the truffle pasta. So delicious! Highly recommended.

Casey T.

Yelp
Not only was the food fantastic so was the service. This is a husband and wife team who own and operate this business. The set meal had great options to choose from and the wine selection was incredible! Also, the portions are generous, so come with an appetite. I can not tell you how grateful I was for such warm hospitality in a new country and city. I highly recommend you check this place out

Yelp
Loved this cozy French Thai bistro! The mackerel was delicious. Service was impressive! They explained the menu and accommodated our group of 5 w reservations and a table w a view of the Eiffel Tower! So wonderful!

Tamer F.

Yelp
Incredibly delicious French cuisine at a very reasonable price. Lovely boutique restaurant with outdoor views of the tour Eiffel

Yelp
We loved our food and experience at Firmin le Barbier. Truly some of the best food, among four diners, that we had while in Paris. It was simple and rustic, yet elegant in taste and presentation. I wish I could remember everything we had, but the pork chop and prime rib stand out. The best, most succulent chop I have tasted in years. It was cooked to perfection and served with a magenta sauce, possibly beet and horseradish or mustard? It came with a side of onions gratin that left one at our table spectacularly speechless. The prime rib, two person minimum, was cooked perfectly and served with roasted, creamy fingerling potatoes. Just serve a bowl of those please. Dessert included rum baba (holy cow that rum was strong!) with a passion fruit mousse and a chocolate tart that defied explanation. The tart shell was paper thin and crisp, while the filling was rich, dark chocolate that was silky smooth and light but not airy. Served with a passion fruit ice cream, it was blissful. We fought over it, not pretty or sophisticated. Our perfectly paced dinner ended at around 10, at which point we walked out to see the Eiffel Tower glittering. It was a great evening, superb food, and a great host, M. Firmin. We highly recommend. And lest you doubt this, we overheard another diner exclaim over the pork chop. Must have if it's on the menu!

Regina K.

Yelp
We got so lucky with this restaurant!!! Came here on Valentine's Day with a same day reservation. We ordered the steak for two after seeing the other reviews and so glad we did! My husband was able to hand pick the steak he wanted and it was cooked to perfection!!! Not only was the food and wine great, but so was the view. We could see the Eiffel tower right outside the door!!

Yelp
We were looking for a place to eat around the Eiffel Tower and found this charming little restaurant on Yelp. Since we both love steak, their ribeye for two seemed too good to pass up. And five minutes from the Tower?!? Wowee. The hostess was nice and seated us immediately. She explained the menu to us and unfortunately, the ribeye was a set course with salad and potatoes. We kind of wanted to order a few things to try on the menu, but figured it would be too much on top of the steak. The bottle of Beaujolais we had was great and very easy to drink. Apparently it totally turned my boyfriend on to Beaujolais and now he constantly looks for some in stores back home. Since they cook the steak from scratch and the smallest they could do was 2kg, she informed us it would take 30-40 minutes to finish. That's fine, we weren't in a rush. While we waited, the hostess gave us a weird trail-mixy snack that, truthfully, tasted like dried leaves. We didn't touch any more of that after the first bite. We tried the foie with pickled artichokes and rhubarb/caramel. The foie was pretty cold and really difficult to spread on the bread they gave us. Once we managed it, it was super rich and delicious. Even though the slice of foie was pretty thin, it was more than enough to satisfy both of us given how unctuous the fatty liver is. Our steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, and it went really well with the bearnaise. The potatoes were creamy and filling. NOT a fan of the salad because it was pure arugula, and not your average wimpy American arugula... this arugula packed a real punch. I had to eat it together with the meat in order to finish it. The passion fruit creme brûlée was a little tart and very fruity. Definitely lots of passion fruit syrup in there. After dinner we walked over to the Eiffel Tower and watched it light up at 11pm. Overall a beautiful evening with good food and even better company.

Yelp
Sorbet ice cream... such an amazing dish. I literally teared up by the time I got to dessert. AMAZING Gigi the hostess is absolutely phenomenal. She made my sister and I feel so welcomed.

Yelp
My wife found this restaurant based on Yelp reviews, which was a short distance from the Eiffel Tower. I called to make a reservation for two and was lucky enough to get a table 25 minutes before it opened for dinner on A Saturday. Once we made our way in we were greeted by a very nice host / waitress. The restaurant has about 8 tables. It felt very cozy and was very welcoming. I was told they change their menu often depending on the chef's mood. The appetizer, entrees and dessert were to die for. I was amazed by the level of flavor in all the dishes. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. I will definitely come back again and recommend this restaurant to others.

Yelp
Best meal in Paris!! We were looking for a place to eat near the Effiel Tower late around 10 PM. Since we didn't have a reservation anywhere, we realized our chances of a meal with view were extremely slim. Enter Firmin Le Barbier. Tired and feeling dejected we popped our head in the door to see if we could get seating for two. To our surprise, the hostess welcomed us with open arms! Our night took a dramatic turn from then on. We were able to speak directly with the chef who let us pick a cut of steak. Our hostess even went out of her way to bring us the steak to double check if it was too rare. The view from outside was fantastic and our service was top notch. I highly highly recommend making the effort to visit this fine establishment.

Melinda F.

Yelp
Went for dinner. The service is great, it is a small intimate husband and wife team and they work really hard to prepare you a wonderful meal. You can watch the chief cook you meal and know that everything is fresh and seasoned well.

Chris D.

Yelp
OMG!!! This is what people dream of when they think of gourmet French... was amazing in every way. The escargot, the duck assembly dish (wow), the passion fruit creme brûlée and the wine!!! Don't go anywhere else. Gigi is the phenomenal host that makes your "experience" unforgettable. Forget the view, come for the chefs creations! Btw, though, view is extraordinary. Chris from US

Yelp
This place was hands down AMAZING. The food was on point from beginning to end. It is some of the best food I have ever eaten!! The view is amazing and for the location and the quality of the food it was very reasonably priced. Definitely put this place on your must eat list.

Yelp
Amazing fusion cuisine ... Had the sea bass with Leeks and Lambs Tongue our of this world. We went to 1 * restaurant the next night and it was total let down after our experience at Firmin Le Barbier.

Yelp
This restaurant was wonderful from start to finish. First, I must thank my fellow Yelpers for guiding us here. We did the Eiffel Tower at sunset, and wanted to have dinner nearby. We made a 930pm rez, and there was an available table outside. If the weather permits, and the outside table is available, take it. Watching the Eiffel while having an amazing dinner was a true joy. Now for the food...The menu is local and seasonal. You can do a 3 course prix fixe, a 6 course prix fixe or a la carte. My husband and I decided to each get different items so we could share everything. We had the escargots in a combusted bread soup, seared foie gras with confitted figs, the pork neck with coriander pesto and corn ragout, and veal chop with celeriac purée and chanterelle. Everything was beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the taste tre magnifique! Th veal chop and foie were up-charges, but worth every penny. For dessert, we chose the cheese plate (also a small up-charge) and the chocolate tart with black currant sorbet. Some reviewers complained of the pace, but for us, everything was perfectly paced, and our entire dinner was under 2 hours. We didn't feel we waited too long or in between courses. This restaurant is run by 3 people total. The owners are husband and wife, he is the chef, she is everything else, including taxi wrangler! Kudos to them for a brilliant meal. We will be back, and also plan to share this gem with any of our friends and family visiting Paris.

Yelp
Excellent food and service!! My husband and our 14 yo twins stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and we are sooo glad we did. We originally planned to eat at the restaurant next door but after previewing the menu and the lack luster looks of patrons as they dined, we decided to try Firmin. The staff was welcoming and responsive. We felt immediately at ease. The hostess/owner (we think) suggested items specific to each us from the price fixed menu and they did not disappoint. Every course was amazing!!! The food was farm to table fresh and full of flavor. We've been in Paris for four days and hands down, this was our best meal and dining experience. Run, don't walk to Firmin! It is absolutely worth the trip.

Yelp
Warm but classy vibe, and most importantly, serves memorable food. The owner is so sweet and you can tell he really loves his restaurant and his guests. I was surprised to see that he remembered me when I went back after a month for a second visit. It was staffed by 3 people both times I went- the owner, a waitress, and the chef. The owner and waitress constantly make sure the meal is to your liking and the owner even stops by each table for a little chat. The food selection is pretty limited but carefully selected. I ordered the scallops, sea bass, and creme brûlée- all of which tasted as amazingly as they were presented. On rainless days, you can sit outside and have one of the best direct views of the Eiffel Tower. The menu is a bit pricier than the two touristy bistros right next to it but for a fancier and more intimate dinner, it's definitely worth it!

Melissa K.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of dining here a couple of nights ago. It was truly a treat. Gigi and her husband Alex are owner and chef. They take great pride in creating a menu that is very fresh and they make everything in house. The menu changes frequently based on what is available in the local markets and while the menu is small the selection is diverse. The 3 of us each ordered something different and we were all very happy with our choices. Gigi the proprietor is so charming and welcoming. Sit outside if you can, you can't beat the view.

Yelp
BEST restaurant we went to on our ten day trip to Europe from the States!!! We had an AMAZING meal and experience at Firmin Le Barbier! Can't say enough about the hostess/server and how wonderfully accommodating she was to everyone in the restaurant. The Pike Fish soufflé was SO good that after I finished mine and my fiancé finished his chicken and ox tale dish, he ordered a second soufflé dish for himself. We had a really nice red Bordeaux (wish I could remember the name, it was an 07 and red) and finished with the sage and passion fruit creme brûlée which had so many intense and interesting flavors for us to enjoy. The service was above and beyond what we expected; warm, hospitable, knowledgeable and so so friendly. We would HIGHLY recommend dining here - it's about a five minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.

Debbie M.

Yelp
This place knocked it out of the park. A fantastic French experience from service, to food, to dessert. Pack your American (or fill-in-your-country-here) patience as with all good things takes time. Enjoy some wine and the atmosphere as you wait for a perfectly prepared dining treat.

Susie M.

Yelp
Our last night in Paris and we were looking for special meal... this did not disappoint. Quaint, casual and special setting. We had the beef special with delicious salad and potatoes to die for. The béarnaise sauce had the most delicious tarragon flavor. Wine selection was good and the came the creme brûlée ... with wonderful permission and sage flavors. Can't repeat!

Megan M.

Yelp
I was in Paris for a little over the week. I ate out A LOT. But my dinner here was by far the best meal. Definitely make a reservation, I saw a few larger parties of people get turned away but they were able to accommodate a couple or two. We let the chef pick our meals and pair the wines for us and it was just absolutely wonderful. Had a great view of the Eiffel Tower as well. When I go back to Paris I'll be sure to have dinner here again. I can't express how much I love the food, the atmosphere as well as the hostess/waitress and chef since they're the only two people working there. The chef prepares everything himself, no food runners or anything. It was great, I highly recommend going here for dinner whenever you possibly can. Also I should note that all of the food is sourced locally. I still have dreams of Paris but mostly of this heavenly meal. I can't say it enough, this place is a must.

Rebecca Min L.

Yelp
Not recommend this one!!!!!! If I was able to give "0" score, I would do so. We entered into the restaurant at 9:15. After we finished ordering the foods, it was 9:17. The waitress was extremely terrible without any respect. We didn't get anything until 9:50 that we were just about complaining. Our starter is snails. This the worst snails I have never ever had. It's not fresh with strong muddy smell. We were not served baguette. When we asked about our main course, the waitress was suddenly irritated and asked us to leave. She even pushed my shoulder by her creased hands. It is horrible experience. We left the restaurant without main course.

Miguel L.

Yelp
Great place to grab dinner , they have excellent service . And they speak English which was a big plus for me . I highly recommend this place the menu is written in French & English and is a short walk from the Eiffel Tower .

Jack S.

Yelp
My wife and I ate here for our last night in Paris and it was absolutely amazing! The food was great, the presentation was top notch, the ambience was quiet and inviting, and the service was lovely. The menu was what I would call "Paris with a hint of Thailand" when we ate there, but it changes often so it might be different when you dine there. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're in the Eiffel Tower area, stop in and eat! You won't be disappointed.

Kurt B.

Yelp
Super over priced. Decent atmosphere and the food was actually not bad, but portions were small and not worth the price. Also it took forever. It's literally a two-person operation, one person in the kitchen and one waitress, that's it in the whole restaurant. So lots and lots of waiting. And when we finally got tired of waiting, which happened several times over three hours, we had to deal with the horrible attitude if the waitress. The chef actually seemed quite competent and also friendly, but the waitress was downright rude. In a city with so many great places, don't waste your time with this place. If you're near the Eiffel Tower and hungry, just grab a crepe as a snack and save room for dinner elsewhere in the city.

Yelp
BOY did I get lucky. I had booked a surprise trip to Paris for my lovely boyfriend Bruce's birthday, and left it rather late to book a memorable meal for his actual birthday - not knowing whether he would like to choose somewhere when there or if I should steer what we did. I eventually realised on the Wednesday (we left Friday morning, his birthday was Saturday!) that perhaps I should book somewhere just in case! Having been suggested a few places by friends and finding them all booked up for weeks, I started to panic and looked on here, at Trip Advisor and Time Out, and found Firmin le Barbier through Trip Advisor, rated in the top 30 restaurants and 2 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower - and with a direct view of the tower if you got lucky enough to be seated outside! However, it only seats 24 inside, so I half heartedly checked to see if there was any availability...SCORE! Booked for 8pm on the 22nd June :) Of course the path to true food love never runs smoothly...especially when I have a habit of running late and forgetting the exact time I have to be somewhere. So, leaving our gorgeous apartment in the Latin Quarter at 7.50pm and realising it was for 8pm, not 8.30pm as I had convinced myself, resulted in a panicked call to the wrong restaurant (where we had eaten the night before!) then calling Firmin and saying (post 'Parlez-vous anglais?!?') 'we'll be there for 8.30pm - will our table be held?!' Expecting a somewhat snooty response (after visiting Paris for 22 years, and realising most restaurants in touristy areas get off on being arrogant, I had my guard up) I was pleasantly surprised by a 'sure Miss Clayton, see you soon!' Phew :-) After a hurried stroll past the gorgeous Eiffel tower, we found the petite restaurant very easily. We went inside and the waiter remembered us from my frenzied call of course. We noticed the first table (of 3) outside was free, and asked if we could sit there. He did a big breath and was like ohhhh I don't know...but clearly joking and led us outside :) We were soon brought the menu by the adorable older owner, who could not have been nicer, funnier or more passionate about his food. He talked us through each item on the menu, explaining the ingredients and making recommendations where appropriate. I ordered the duck foie gras and the scallop souffle, and Bruce ordered the pata negra, which was slides of pork neck with rice, chilli and salad, as well as the scallop souffle for the main. We were just getting settled when we were brought some lovely prosecco on the house for Bruce's birthday, which I had mentioned in the comments when booking online. A lovely touch! We also chose a sancerre from the swish iPad wine menu (which told us where the grape was from, as well as the fact it paired well with scallops) - however the waiter told us it was out, but he had a very similar wine in stock (cue wondering if they would give us a more expensive bottle! In fact they gave us a lovely bottle which was 11 euros cheaper than the wine we had ordered, really impressed). The foie gras was out of this bloody world - I am still thinking about it daily, and trying to justify another trip across the channel for it. Seriously gorgeous, it came with a delicious nutty, fruity toasted bread, as well as maple syrup and artichoke. NOMMMMMMMMMMMM. Bruce's pata negra was also divine, lovely flavours that all worked together. The scallop dish had us disagreeing - the was one flavour in the saffron sauce that simply did not agree with me, while Bruce adored his. I would order it if you are going for the first time as you will either love it or hate it - but either way you will never have anything else like it. For dessert I cannot remember exactly what we had, but I think I had a tart and Bruce had a deconstructed cheesecake - both were fabulous and rounded off a simply wonderful meal in the shadow of the Eiffel. Plus, a surprise birthday sparkler at the end of the meal was another surprise that rounded off the whole evening splendidly. An absolute must-visit, wonderful service and delightful food, surroundings and ambiance. In my top 3 restaurants!

Ellie P.

Yelp
This is a creative, local spot near the Eiffel Tower run by a retired surgeon. Yeah. All of those things. There are even medical-inspired I lived in Paris for several years and can say this place is legit. There are a lot of not-great places near the Eiffel Tower, so instead, you should come here. I started with the most creative green soup. Everyone at my table ended up stealing bites of it. Foamy and fresh and green. The steak was fantastic and totally hit the spot. Gluten free notes: Most of the dishes here are naturally gluten free.

Frank W.

Yelp
Strongly recommend avoiding this place. Fermin le Barbier was picked up by several major travel publications and now it has all the feelings of a tourist trap. We literally sat next to a couple from the same state and were brought the exact same "recommended" bottle of wine for our meal (totally different orders). The food was average at best and didn't present anything of notable quality or unique composition. There are better ways to spend 100 euro in Paris.

Paul M.

Yelp
This is an amazing restaurant in a nice part of the city close by the Eiffel Tower. The atmosphere is nice and friendly and the staff is friendly and gives you a family friendly vibe. The food is just as good if not better than the service. All of their food is fresh so it depends on the season, and all of it is prepared in their kitchen down to the bread. They have 3 courses, an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. The desserts are all good and also prepared in the restaurant. I would highly recommend the creams brûlée which is smooth and creamy underneath it's nice sweet shell. You should come here and if you don't, then you are missing out on one of the best dining experiences of your life!

Jeanette R.

Yelp
what a fabulous find - a recommendation from our hotel concierge. this is the kind of wonderful quaint place you'd expect in Paris, complete with cute little (albeit tall) old man owner. He came to our table and explained each dish to us, so wonderful!!! The food is spectacular here, it was nice to go to a place and eat something classic French with a modern twist. I'd been tired of steak frittes, tartare and duck. We had the scallops, really really tasty, lots of cream and saffron, very rich dish, I couldn't finish the cream, although a few tables over we saw people licking the plate. I know...gross right? This is a nice place...don't let that fool you, we were dressed up, but some people were quite casual, Which seemed fine for this spot. Prices were average, not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for! The owner gave us a lovely glass of cognac after dinner, and was very attentive and friendly the entire evening. More about the food, we also ordered the filet, really tasty, large chunk of meat! The turbot fish also excellent, served with fresh peas! We had cheeses for dessert...cannot even start to explain how or why they were so good, just try them. I also saw quite a few people eating desserts that looked wonderful as well, but I didn't have any space left in my dress to order one. Go go go, you won't be disappointed!

Nathan S.

Yelp
Not a good choice if you have kids or a large group. Also, don't expect to share any plates because they won't let you do it. There are no options for kids on the menu except steak of which there is a 1 kilo minimum order. We were hoping they would accommodate our large group and several kids but they seemed very inflexible with their menu. We ended up leaving without ordering anything. This is the type of restaurant that is set up to be a money making operation and only has a secondary purpose of accommodating and pleasing their guests. Also, waitress was rather unfriendly as was echoed in some other reviews.

yong k.

Yelp
Read the reviews about this place and had to try it since we were near the Eiffel Tower. We got here around 7pm and had no reservations, but were seated right away. The waitress was very friendly and nice to explain the menu to use. We started with the escargot with some kind of cream sauce. The wife had the pork chop, which came with some onions and potato au groton. I had the crispy veal, with corn and mushroom. We had some red wine that waitress recommended. Everything was good. They had a open window where you could see the chief cook your food. I do recommend is place and maybe have a reservation cause it did get busy around 730pm.

Jan G.

Yelp
French food extraordinaire! Great meal - great flavor - great size! If you're in town and want to experience French food...come here! Bon Appetit!

Raul R.

Yelp
Amizing experience. 3 course dinner. The service was spectacular. The food was amazing. The view is one of a kind. You'll see the Eiffel Tower while having dinner.

Tim R.

Yelp
This place is absolutely fabulous! The service was prompt and polite. The view was spectacular. We sat outside so we could see the Eiffel tower from our seat. We had two appetizers one was marinated tuna with horse radish coleslaw underneath with onions pickled and the other was snell veloute. Very, very, very delicious. For entree my fiancée had fish of the day with clams with a side of onion cooked gently with small shrimps. Absolutely mind blowing and I had veal with onions and veggies. Delightful! Great meal for a magical night! Worth every penny. The wine was smooth and tasteful. All round excellent.

Lucas B.

Yelp
Extremely overpriced, small portions, poor service. Only 2 people work in the restaurant, so there is one waitress who, having to serve the entire restaurant, is naturally slow and has too much on her plate. She is very impatient and impolite. When I would politely request simple things such as asking for more water or more bread, she would avoid looking at me, and not respond, simply walking away. She would return with one piece of bread. After we had paid the bill of €145 (The price of a meal for 3 people), we asked for more water and she said she'd have to change the bill. Keep in mind the water was filtered tap water and cost the restaurant nothing, and we had just paid her €145. The food was also mediocre and the portions were too small to be filling. The meal would would have been fine but the service is what ruined it. Big waste of money, would definitely recommend avoiding this place.

Yelp
Food was amazing but the hostess was very grumpy. Saw other reviews say shes amazing so Not sure if we caught her on a bad day or if she was upset we didn't order all three courses but she was very standoffish. We asked for more bread and she threw a bowl with one more piece on to our table and just walked off quickly without a look. We asked for a plate so an adult who wasn't eating much could share with my 9 year old (who wasn't really going to eat much from the fancy menu) and she refused to give my daughter a plate for sharing, she said they don't do that, no compromise at all. Pretty rude. so I would take 1.5 stars off. Otherwise this would be a 4.5 review. I would take half a star off for the small menu. Not many options though they were all extraordinary.

Yelp
HIGHLY recommend this place. The food is delicious and the service is spectacular! Amazed by the experience we had. Best way to end our Europe trip.

Yelp
This was our best meal in Paris, warm and good service and outstanding food. The lamb tongue starter was amazing.

Yelp
Maybe the best meal I've ever had. Service was warm and inviting. My husband and I had the seared fois gras and it was incomparable. I then had the seared duckling and my husband got the fish of the day. We both loved our meals! Then I had the delicious baba rhum and he had the creme brûlée with passion fruit which stole the show! I would come back to Paris just to eat here again! You have to try it!

Yelp
Excellent little bistro. Food is very inventive, yet not heavy. Steak was amazing. foie gras is silky smooth and melts in your mouth. The whole sole was cooked just right and easily came off the skeleton in one piece. Owner was polishing the wine glasses - he takes pride in bistro. Everything is home made. We even chatted with the chef. A great find in Paris!

Yelp
Had dinner here tonight, could not have been any more fantastic. Host owner Gigi was extremely gracious and provided attentive service with excellent wine recommendations. The food was out of this world- do not miss the foie gras! $39 euro for a three course meal is a great value.

Yelp
Possibly the best meal I've ever in Paris--some of the dishes were Michel Bras level, but without the fuss. The restaurant itself is adorable, tucked mid-block on a quaint side street with an astounding view of the Eiffel Tower made larger than life by the context. Finally, the proprietress and chef couldn't have been nicer with a friendly back-and-forth banter that made us as if were intimate guests in their home rather than strangers in their restaurant.

Yelp
One of the best meals we've had on this visit to Paris. The escargot appetizer was excellent. We both ordered, and loved, a seafood quenelle. Desserts were very good. Service pleasant. Nice looking place with an interesting and lively crowd on a Sunday night.

Yelp
Very much enjoyed our visit here. Service was friendly. English was spoken by the entire small staff. Food was terrific. A little pricey, but with the food quality and great service, we got what we paid for.
