This was my first experience with a capsule hotel, and it exceeded my expectations. The cabin was very comfortable, and the amenities provided were excellent. The location of the hotel was also fantastic. My biggest gripe was that the showers were in the basement, accessible only by an elevator that had to cover seven floors. Honestly, if I could have taken the stairs (which, for some reason, didn't go to the basement), I would have, especially since I was only on the third floor. Other than that, I can confidently recommend the place.

The staff is extremely professional and kind. The rooms can be cleaned daily upon request but you will have to wake up early because this happens at 10:00 AM. There is a coin laundry and vending machine on each floor; however, it only takes ¥100 and ¥1,000 bills. You can always get change at the front desk. The cabins are very comfortable and roomy, and if you’re lucky enough to reserve a business suite, it’s a larger room. The only downside is that some people that occupy this place can be loud/rude/disgusting but noise cancelling headphones can help. Also it is one of the slowest elevators, and that is the only way you to reach the 3-7 floors. If you’re a solo traveler and on a budget, this is a great location.

You're paying extra for the same experience as a cheaper capsule hotel, unless you're staying First Class but then I would wonder why you'd not pay similar for a buisness hotel. Very little shared storage space for luggage with no where left to secure our suitcase, it's loud throughout the night with minimum courtesy from the other (solely) tourist clientele and there's a fight for sinks/toilets anywhere around morning/evening. Whilst we were staying they were also tearing up the pavement outside so we had to be escourted by workers through the construction site to enter the hotel, work continued whilst we were there and was audiable inside. The lifts are also a nightmare and trapped me in the door more than once, damaging a designer bag in the process. I should persue damages as there's no way the doors should be closing so fast and not reopening once they sense someone/something is stuck. We also witnessed someone else be noticely injured when they themselves got caught in the lift doors.

Very clean and convenient. The shared bathroom was very comfortable and well equipped. Felt quite safe too.

Great location in Akasaka. Good option for same-day lodging (I stayed 4 hours for a very reasonable price). Only issue I had was the AC being pretty weak.

I stayed here on a business trip to Tokyo.|All First Cabin facilities are within a 5-minute walk from the nearest station.|First Cabin Akasaka is also located a one-minute walk from Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. The front desk is on the second floor of the building. Although a capsule hotel, it has a large public bath to relieve travel fatigue.

I liked my stay at this place. Was here for a night and it was amazing. The location is perfect in the heart of tokyo, near station, near mini market, and food store. The room is very clean, they provide you a pajamas, small towel, big towel, amenities, and slippers. Service desk are kind and helpful. The “capsule” is lil bit different with the others, is kind like container room because is really spacious. Bathroom and Spa room is great. What an experience to stay here.

I liked my stay at this place. The rooms were small, but cozy. They have separate space for keeping bigger luggage. I was provided with a pair of pajamas, towels and slippers. For the price, it was a great place to stay. The location was also great. I had only two observations: 1. The entire building smelled of cigarette, that includes the elevator. 2. This is not a wheelchair accessible place.

Yelp
The staff there is not very polite! This was not my experience at the other first cabin locations because the other places were very polite and accommodating. This location is loud I could hear the. Kiss from the street and the drinks outside. Inside people were talking and making noise all night but the staff would not tell them anything. Interesting because the other location was not like this at all. If you just need a place to rest for one night then it's ok. Location was wonderful.

Yelp
Great place for a short and cheap stay. You basically get a bed which has a cubby like an insert for your things on the side and a pulldown curtain that separates you from the hallway. Simple and clean capsule hotel. Floors separated by gender. Each hallway consists of like 20-30 "rooms." More like beds separated by pulldown curtains. Only thing I disliked was that the curtains didn't go all the way to the floor so some light seeped in. Not a problem if you can sleep through it. Wouldn't recommend coming home late as everyone is like fast asleep by midnight. But I ended up doing this a few times. Bed is a bit hard also. But other than that great place to crash! There are very nice hot bath and shower facilities at the bottom. Also, there is coin laundry which is very convenient. (Make sure to have 100 yen coins) They clean up your bed every day and give you new towels, a toothbrush, and sheets. Make sure to keep all your valuables in the cubby holder on the side and lock it. Other than that for your other luggage, they give you a bike lock and you tie it up to a metal bar alongside everyone else's. Its a little sketchy so if you are worried about someone getting into your bad (which they very easily can), get some padlocks for your zippers. That being said, I had no problems. Also, a great chill area on the 2nd floor where you can eat, work and get coffee. Awesome place! Would go back.

Yelp
Place is great to stay for a night, the price is great (about $50-$60 USD). Everything is clean, and laid out for you on the bed. It's safe, there are locks they provide for you. The floors are separated by gender. The bathrooms have all the amenities that you need. And there's a decent cafe on the second floor. The staff doesn't really speak too much English, but it's enough to get by. It's closest to the Akasaka station on the Marinouchi line (across the street) and the Akasaka-mitsuke station a five minute walk away.
