First Hotel Grand

Super nice and beautiful hotel. Excellent breakfast and cozy lounge. The budget room we booked was lovely and the noise isolation from the windows was amazing! However, there was a big proportion problem in the bathroom: the sink was tiny and you almost had to brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet.

This was my second stay at Grand Hotel Odense within a month – the first time with a group, and this time I returned with my husband because I really wanted him to experience the hotel as well. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere is elegant yet warm, the staff are incredibly welcoming, and the location is perfect for exploring the heart of Odense. A beautiful blend of classic charm and modern comfort. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely Grand Hotel at a very convenient nice location in Odense. Great beds, slept like a baby :) nice large fauteuils to unwind comfortably. Fresh juices & smoothies at breakfast. My son loved it too.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The breakfast is really good .what let's the hotel down is the rooms .the rooms need updating. They look so tired, an the TV package is awful.no coffee making facilities.This a normal thing in most hotels. I stayed there for three nights ,from the 4th of August . The reception staff are very nice an helpful.

Everything in hotel was perfect. Breakfast was avensome. Varied - everyone could find something for him. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff friendly and helpful. There is one thing to concider - the hotel is in center, close to a lot of restaurants and bars. This is of course big plus. But there is no hotel parking. You have to use public parking. Close to hotel is red zone. Parking fee applies from 8 till 20 hour.

Great hotel with friendly staff and yummy breakfast. Just make sure you don't get a room near where the food-delivery truck arrives at 5.30am (on a street called Store Gråbrødrestræde) - it's very noisy and hangs around for a long time.

First time in Odense and it was phenomenal! The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The location is outstanding and the hotel stairs are awesome, feels like you're walking inside a castle!

2 nights in a superior room and it was excellent. It was clean, modern and had all you need in the center of Odense. The personnel was kind, well informed and seemed to have our best interest at heart. All the way from the reception, to the barkeeper and breakfast servers. The breakfast is well above average with high quality produce and a large selection of drinks and breakfast foods. The homemade apple marmalade was some of the best I've had. The location itself invites exploring Odense by foot and is close to pretty much everything, from HC Andersens museum to shopping. Not our last visit.

Very nice hotel that is very close to many things. We enjoyed our 2-night stay. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. We had a couple minor hiccups, but nothing terrible, and they were fixed fairly quickly. We did get warm during the night, however, and the provided fan didn't do enough for us to sleep as comfortably as we would have liked. One little note: At 10:00 on the dot, breakfast is over! They clear the food faster than a sonic boom!

The Best. Never had a better hotel experience on a business trip in my life. The room is small, just enough space for a bedroom and bathroom but perfect. As a 6'1" man, I have to maneuver myself in the bathroom but I manage as I am a man after all. The breakfast! Oh fuck! So great. I gain 20 pounds during my 2 week visit just because of the breakfast and bar. I highly recommend this amazing hotel to any Odense traveler.

Freshly-redone old hotel on the edge of the Odense pedestrian district. Good rooms, nice staff, great cocktails -- perhaps none of them of 5-star quality but we found this place to be more than the sum of its parts. A note about the food: we were planning to go elsewhere on our first night, but were tired and decided to dine in. Wise move. The menu's not big but has thoughtful choices, as well as an ever-changing brasserie dish, like pot-au-feu or duck confit etc. Not only was the preparation skilled, but our server explained the ingredients right down to the herbs and berries with the zeal of a real foodie. Good (and growing) Danish microbrewery selection, as well as those dangerous cocktails from the bar next door. An unexpected, excellent dining experience.

Love this hotel. Old feel. Comfy beds. We were able to check in 3 hours before their stated check in time. Great area. It was raining the day we were there and we were able to explore most the city on just a short walk. Heard someone tried to steal our room and reception didn't let them. Great experience here and would recommend it to anyone.
