First Hotel Jörgen Kock

The hotel was wonderful, everything is clean. The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly. Breakfast is a buffet, everything is delicious and there is always plenty on the table. Coffee, tea, juice, water and mulled wine are always available during the day. All in all, very satisfied and my sincere recommendation.

Stayed here for a total of three nights and can't complain.|The location was perfect for me, nearby the place I was working at, also not far from central station and city center.|My room could've used some upgrading and modernization, yet it was big and comfortable, nothing was damaged or worn out. Cleanliness overall was fine, too.|The staff was friendly throughout my stay and the breakfast was good for a hotel of that standard.|As they don't have an own gym room, they're cooperating with the gym next door, I used this service for 100 SEK for a day pass.|Will most probably return when I'm back in the city.

We were four people staying one night at this hotel. It’s centrally located and has parking available right in front, so the location is definitely convenient.||However, our room was very old, with some broken furniture. The bathroom seemed a bit newer but nothing special. It’s surprising because, from the outside, the hotel looks modern, but as soon as you enter, you realize it’s more vintage in style. This also affected the comfort of our stay, as the old windows didn’t block out noise. Even though our room didn’t face the street, we could still hear all the street sounds clearly. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. We found half a chocolate bar between the bed and the curtain, and there was mud under the bed and the sofa when we moved them to put the two children's beds together. Breakfast wasn’t much better. The variety was limited, and even though we went during a less busy time, the room filled up quickly. ||On the positive side, the price was quite affordable, especially compared to other hotels in the area, which were significantly more expensive.

Great service. They let us do early checkin without any problems for free. 24/7 free coffee is a game changer. Location is pretty good , just few minutes from old town and super close to the bay. They serve great breakfasts with a lot of options for vegan or lactose intolerant. But the most important are super helpful people working there. I spent 3 days and definitely will come back. Great quality for the price.

The room is very spacious, and the location is just 3-5 minutes' walk to the train station. Breakfast is amazing. There are so many options to go to. Staff are not the most welcoming, the duty manager sees you as non-existent. They need to smile more. Every time you pass by the reception, it feels like they're just seeing wind. The doors in all rooms need to have a stopper or silencer, all doors that close from different rooms slam and very loud! You can be awakened if you're sleeping.

For being the cheapast option it for sure deserves 5 stars. The receptionist was super kind. Breakfast very abundant. The room clean and safe. Only thing I would have wished for would have been mini toothpaste in the room. But hey, also better for environment to not have it!

A budget hotel. Furniture was dated, beds were ok, towels were small, but everything was clean! More towels and extra pillows were not all problem! Breakfast was standard buffet, we'll maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Shirt walk to the central station, easy walk to shops. No fridge in the room, but in the restaurant they had coffee available all day.

Really pleasant hotel with a quite spacious double rooms. Beds could be wider - I am still not used to the European "single bed" idea. Breakfasts were quite tasty, with a chance to try the local specialty - a herring. Panoramic views with the Turning Torso building were a nice addition to the room :)
