First Landing Beach Resort & Villas

We started to acknowledge how much we enjoyed our stayed here after we left. We had an incidente at the airport and had to stay more days in Fiji than planned before we went Home, and by them, First Lansing was fully booked. We cherished the hospitality, the kindness and good energy of all the staff. They welcome You and treat You as family. The resort is very well distributed, the room (garden bure) was spacious, cool and very clean. It's surprising that even though we were sorrounded by Nature, we didnt find a single bug in the room. The breakfast was included and was satsifying with fresh and hot options. The restaurant's food was a highlight, we remember our dinners there very fondly. First because of the delicious food, kudos to the Carbonara and the Kokoda (I'm peruvian and we are very proud and fond of our gastronomy, the Kokoda was very well Made and it was the closest thing to a taste of Home I've had in Fiji - good ceviche). Second because of the live music they had everything night, the musicians really sang with their hearts and was moving. When the tide is low You can walk through the bay and it's very beautiful and soothing. The beach is small and very prívate. The pool is Big. In general it's a very warm, cozy and tradicional resort, it's not the fanciest or most updated, but it definitely Will win a place in your hearts. Although the location sets You a bit afar from the port Denaru, where most Day tríos take off, that justo means you'll have to pay something extra for the pick up and drop off. We miss You and are very grateful for our First Landing Family!

Awesome place to be. Very relaxing. Not crowded. Very friendly staff!!! And the prices were way more cheaper compared to crowded expensive places. Very serene and loved watching the sunrise and sunset. If you are after a relaxing getaway, highly recommend First Landing hotel.

First Landing Beach Resort & Villas offers a totally relaxing and welcoming holiday environment. The view from the resort is the beach and it's lovely to see the sea and be able to take a walk around the reef. The vibe is felt as soon as you arrive, and the staff are all friendly and very helpful. Checking in and out was simple and straightforward. The villas are lovely; large rooms, offering a closed -in verandah with a net shade - which is perfect for keeping the bugs out. The chefs are fantastic - all the food I ate was delicious and the servings were generous. The pool is awesome - and the poolside service from the waiter for food and drinks just makes it into a fabulous experience. I totally recommend this place for a relaxing, restorative vacation!

Our 5 night stay was exceptional. The location is stunning on the sight of the first people to settle on Fiji. The ocean view bure in which we stayed was close to all the facilities but quiet and spacious.||What made the resort so good though were the Fijian people who were always there to greet you with “Bula” and a smile. It felt like we were part of a greater family.||The food and drink, including freshly harvested coconuts to drink, in the restaurant were very good indeed and excellent value. The setting overlooking the pacific is stunning. The ocean was wonderful for swimming in and kayaking on.||Every evening three guitarists played and sang. The “warrior dance” evening was fun, as was the “Polynesian dance” evening. Being serenaded by the guitarists and members of staff on our final evening was very, very special.||Thank you First Landing Beach Resort for such a magical stay.

Although the experience appeared professional at first and it was good to see Fiji, I was ultimately very disappointed. Despite being greeted warmly by staff wherever we went, I felt taken advantage of financially. What was meant to be a sightseeing experience turned into an extremely overpriced outing. We were charged a ridiculous amount and then taken around in a staff member’s personal vehicle, during which we saw a maximum of only three sites . This was far below expectations and left us feeling dissatisfied To make matters worse, when I requested to speak with the director, I was questioned about why I wanted to see him instead of my request being respected. I also left multiple messages at reception asking for the director to contact me, but I never received a response. Overall, this experience did not meet the standards promised and left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

The best part was the warm and personal Fijian hospitality. So different to the international resorts. It just felt more relaxed and it was reasonably priced for meals, rooms and massages. Lovely sunset views, nice pools with the villas, comfortable apartments. Meals and entertainment were good. You can swim in the sea and it’s right next to the yacht marina. The apartments aren’t new and more equivalent to an Australian 3-4 star, but the warm hospitality was better than the impersonal large hotels. We will go back.

Had the best week ever here, highly recommend!! We stayed in the oceanview Bure and it was great - very clean, ample space, a big spa bath and beautiful views of the ocean from our bed with a verandah to sit on which we enjoyed. The staff really made this place special, they made us feel like family (shoutout to Moses, Tomasi and Rosetta!) and were always going above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. The food is amazing, and there’s a beautiful beach and pool too! Location isn’t far from the airport either so we found that really convenient. So many fun activities like the warrior and fire dances too. We can’t wait to come back someday soon!

We stayed at first landing for 9 nights late October and had a lovely relaxing holiday, our unit had it's own pool which was very private, the unit was very spacious and clean, the staff were absolutely amazing, my husband had to use a wheelchair which they provided and the porters came and pushed him to the restaurant when we needed to go there. Food was great could not fault it. All the staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. Next time I would book a unit at the front overlooking the sea views, still with it's own pool. Thanks for the very relaxing holiday.
