BOOK THIS PLACE NOW!|I've been coming to Fischers Cove for almost 15 years. I typically have to come to the BVI for work and have tended to stay here. But it's only in my recent trip that I felt the need to ensure that everyone knows who is visiting the BVI should come here. This place is truly a gem.||First things first, you won't get better hospitality and service anywhere else on the island. We even had Dawn call her cousin because we left our son's water bottle in The Baths the day before and lo and behold, Dawn brought it to us at breakfast the very next day. Staying there is like staying with family. It's truly wonderful.||Second - location, location, location. Fischers is close to the main dock, close to The Baths, and my person reason - close to the best restaurant in the BVI: Cocomaya. It literally is a 3min walk and it just works so well. The beach is also magnificent and you can walk for a mile along the sands. They have lovely fig trees to shade you from the hot sun, and their bartender is just a wave away to make you a rum cocktail.||Breakfast - it's hard to find a breakfast place in the BVI, let alone a breakfast place that opens up at 7am (most of them are either 8am or 10am starts). Our kids wake up at 6am so an 8am breakfast doesn't work but Fischers is always ready to take our order as soon as we arrive. Pancakes and egg omlettes were our typical choice and always delicious. They were also accommodating to my husband who is gluten free.||The rooms are great. They have a mini kitchnette which I think is useful if you are staying more than a day. They are super clean and I think the beds are comfortable. It's basic accommodation, but for the price point, it beats anything else on the island by a long shot.||A huge shout out to Deirdre who was insanely amazing at everything and a HUGE thank you to Dawn who I think I'll always now keep in touch with via WhatsApp. I love her.||We only left recently but already we'll be planning our next trip back. If you are in Virgin Gorda, I can't recommend this place more!

Our week long stay was wonderful! This family owned hidden gem has comfortable cottages and rooms with beautiful views of the sea and sunset while being a short distance from the ferry and The Baths. This is a quiet place with lush landscaped grounds where you can recharge for your next adventure or join the party just down the beach at the popular CocoMaya club. The restaurant offers delicious breakfast lunch and dinner in a lovely open air setting and the best bartender is happy to make your favorite drink and help plan the next day’s experience. Can’t say enough about our visit here and how lucky we were to find it! Thanks to all !

A wonderful lunch experience. |I took a ferry from St. John to Virgin Gorda (inter Island ferries runs a direct from St. John to Virgin Gorda on Thursdays) to look around at the island and research some places to stay next year. And of course to go to the Baths. I had read about Fischer Cove resort and decided to have lunch there. It is a beautiful tropical place right on the beach with cottages, restaurant and small bar. I was lucky enough to meet. Andy Flax, the owner. He told me how he and his wife started developing the place on $75. And how he used to sit at his bar and chat with Lawrence Rockefeller who was on Virgin Gorda developing little Dix Bay. |My meal of coconut shrimp and salad was well presented and extremely delicious. As was the piña colada. Service was great and this is definitely an experience to be had on any trip to Virgin Gorda. Was able to look at the cottages and they were neat, clean and well appointed. Definitely looking to book a room next trip.

I have lived in the BVI for over 30 years yet never stayed at Fischer's Cove before. I have to say I have fallen in love with this tiny slice of Virgin Gorda. The beach had been one I had never thought to swim at before but we loved our afternoons swimming there. The staff were amazing and accommodating beyond expectation. I will definitely stay there again.

Our base for a weeklong stay was wonderful! This is a hidden gem! Family owned and cared for makes it a special experience to stay here! The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel at home in our Sea Island cottage steps from the beach. A quiet getaway close to major attractions such as CocoMaya just down the beach and The Baths only 1.5 mile away. We loved it here and hope to return! Amazing sunsets!

We spent four nights here in mid-March, post Irma and Maria, and the storm damage was very apparent and sad to see. Only five rooms were habitable, since the second floor of the hotel building and the roofs of the cottages were lost in the storm. I don’t think they’re actually soliciting hotel guests and believe they honored our reservation only because we had made it far in advance of the storms, and really wanted to visit despite the warnings of possible power and water outages. (We had neither, by the way.) Our room was clean and comfortable. The furnishings were a bit battered but we weren’t there for décor. The patio had a partial sea view, which was nice. The fresh flowers on the patio were a nice touch too. The beach was in good shape and there were lounge chairs and palapas available. The staff were friendly and helpful. As I’d hoped, we could walk to The Baths from there, which saved on transportation expenses. There’s also a store within walking distance, along with a couple of restaurants in addition to the one at Fischer’s Cove. While I wish we could have seen the resort before the hurricanes hit, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We actually did not stay on site but were here every day and just had to write a review as our experience was wonderful with all the staff who works here. My husband and I were on Virgin Gorda for 3 days and stayed at an airbnb apartment above a local bakery. As there was no front desk or restaurant where we stayed, we would walk across the street to Fischers cove. I cannot praise this place and it's staff enough. Our vacation would not have been the same without them. They helped us rent a car. They gave us a map. They assisted us with which places were open/closed due to the hurricaine damage. We looked at a room and they were wonderful. We ate there at least one meal a day, always with the beautiful view of the ocean at our fingertips. We have been all over Virgin Gorda and it is the best view on the island, by far . Although Hog Heaven on the other side of the island has a great view, but that is a little mom & pop lunch place. The food was great, the cocktails were great. But beyond this was the way we were assisted and treated like family, even though we were not staying with them. I would stay at Fischers Cove next time, but they were booked during our stay. Now I know why. Do not miss th opportunity to stay here is you can get in !! Thank you to all the Fischer's Cove staff ! You are the best !!!
