A little preface. My wife and I were both looking for restaurants as we sailed the leeward Tahiti islands. We planned a different place to moor or anchor everyday. So planning was a must first to navigate the boat to the location and secondly shop and find food and Or restaurants. As we compared notes, we both said this is a place we want to stop. So we decided it would be our last night destination as it is close to our marina. That allows us to relax on the boat until an hour before boat check in.
Sorry about my none related info. Anyhow, this is the place to go. Differently decorated areas throughout the property. Starting on the dock and working your way around. It is a covered outdoor area for the most part. You can walk past the bar and find a pool table. Down the hall and find a large beautiful well decorated bathroom. From there to a room that feels like a home.
Now the food. Wow wow wow. We want more. The place has environment, flavor and wonderful people working there.
We ordered Red Tuna Tataki, Paris Bistro Rib eye, and the fisherman’s catch. Each main choice had an accompaniment of sides unlike normal finds like a flash fried banana in coconut cream. If I saw on a menu I don’t think I would have ordered. So glad it was on my plate. Then came the dessert. Great choices beyond belief.
My wife is not normally the shopping type. But I encouraged her to check it out, and so many beautiful pieces. Amazingly a handmade earring and ring that we made a set.
We met the owner and she was pleasant and had a personality to please. She looks the type to not just create wonderful meals but decorate this place and make this hand made jewelry. It was a little on the pricey side but we will be back soon. You just can’t go wrong here
