We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at your establishment. We purchased champagne and ordered the five-course "Lobster-Feast" tasting menu, which was simply excellent. The shellfish, sauces, and garnishes were all expertly prepared. Some of the compositions appeared unconventional, reminiscent of Icelandic cuisine, but the overall taste was consistently excellent. The only slight issue was with the beef tenderloin main course, which appeared undercooked. The service was consistently present, knowledgeable, and helpful with recommendations on wines, ingredients, and other topics. The ambiance is outstanding, featuring a cave-like setting, lighted candles and chandeliers, and hides and paintings on the walls, contributing to an Icelandic and local inspiration. This restaurant is certainly one of the many excellent dining options in the new part of Reykjavik. We hope you enjoy it!
