We went there to celebrate my sister 30th birthday. The grill fish was alright. One side of the fish was good, the other side was super dry. I didn’t know was dry on one side, and I shared some of the fish to my sister. The lamb with mash was not very good. First of all, my friend asked the staff if they can put some note she would like well done. When the lamb dish came, it was medium-rare. The lovely waitress took it back and came back well done, but overall still below average. My sister had the seafood risotto. I’m sorry. It’s probably the worst seafood risotto I had in my life. The seafood wasn’t fresh at all. My sister didn’t like it and me neither. She had to squeeze lots of lemon on her seafood. The best parts of the dinner were the cocktails. They were all above average. I would only recommend the drinks.

Wonderful dinner this evening...Thai Fish Curry, and Brownie Dessert. Yummy Yum Yum Rum cocktail. Friendly waitress Eva from France, helped with our selection and gave us excellent service. One of the best meals and atmosphere ever. And nice to meet the charming manager Andrew. We will be back!

My family and I are here on holiday. We came here for dinner in hopes to find a good fresh seafood place! We originally had our reservation inside however we asked to move outside, staff were absolutely amazing! They were able to move our booking without a fuss, we were served by a gentleman who had shaved blonde hair, his service was outstanding, kind and had perfect communication. 🙌🏼 Drinks were refreshing and delicious, perfect balance for the type of food and gorgeous weather at Arlie! The food was out of this world!! Compliments to the chefs - my parents had the seafood platter for 2 + 1/2 dozen oysters: the seafood was fresh, delicious and had a great variety of different types of seafood which was all paired beautifully with the sauce!! 10/10. I had the seafood chowder, this dish is one of my all time favourites and I have to say chefs you nailed it!!! Best chowder I’ve had!! Again flavours were paired perfectly and the ‘cobloaf’ style the meal had just made the whole dish feel like home! This restaurant is pricey but expected as you get what you’re paying for in perfect service and great food and drinks!! I can’t recommend Fish D’vine enough!! We will be back next time we visit 🙌🏼🙌🏼 🙌🏼 Experience 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Food + Beverage 10/10 Thank you for having us and making our stay so special and memorable!

The place as such was quite nice. The service was lovely and the drinks were good. Unfortunately the food was a bit of a mixed bag. We had the scallops as an entree which were great. I had the barramundi as a main which was lacking sauce and taste and was rather dry. My partner had the ocean basket which he quite enjoyed.

Google
Excellent place in Airlie for Seafood and cocktails! Our whole meal was delicious from the amazing Soft shell crab which has this delicious brown sweet sauce with it that ties it all together, the grilled prawns & scallops were devine, Burramundi cooked to perfection and a very authentic tasting Chowder similar to one I have had in San Fran! They offer a great selection of drinks and desserts that you will not be disappointed.

Google
Words can't even begin to describe this restaurant. I have travelled from Gold Coast where we have access to amazing seafood where I thought I couldn't get it better anywhere else. Well how I've eaten my own words. We ordered a dozen oysters, a garlic bread and the seafood platter. Firstly, those oysters 😋 😍 so fresh and delicious. I could have eaten them all-night. Secondly, that garlic bread. I would travel back to Airlie Beach just to eat that garlic bread. In my 34 years of living, i have NEVER had garlic bread so good. How does one even do this? But you have! Lastly, the seafood platter- was recommended for 2. 3 of us ate it and couldn't finish it. Such a generous amount of food and really good value for money. All the seafood was so fresh and delicious. Extra points to the chefs for leaving the Roe on the scallops- this is a rarity these days I cannot fault this place at all. If I could give a higher star rating, I would. I 10/10 highly recommend this restaurant. All staff were interactive and nothing was too difficult for them. We were able to swap some things out on a seafood platter for something else. Next time I'm in Airlie Beach, I will 100% be returning to your restaurant. My partner is a chef who can pick apart any meal. Nope, not this time! He couldn't fault it at all either! (That's saying alot)

Google
Overall good food, service and location. The mud crab was big and with a tasty sauce (Thai Curry had coconut milk in it) and barramundi was fresh, as were oysters, and the bread was delicious. Overall good lunch, about $$$ in price.

Google
Amazing cocktails, food (which wasn't overly expensive) and service. Cannot fault and would definitely go back again. My partner and I tried 6 cocktails between us and all were delicious. We had the BBQ prawns and Ginger oysters for entree. Both were so nice and you could tell the seafood was fresh. We had the Thai fish curry and BBQ bugs for mains. The best fish curry I have ever eaten. The bugs were also great and a nice light dish. Dessert we had the brownie and mousse. Again, we couldn't fault. The restaurant was really busy but our waitress Celine did a great job. She was running from table to table and no one was left waiting very long for anything. I wish we were here longer to go back.

Yelp
We came early to our reservation that thankfully the restaurant was able to accommodate our early arrival. We sat outside on one of their covered patios which was pleasant with a heater at the end of May. Just note - the bar/casino a part of the Airlie Beach Hotel plays their music loudly so that is what you will be hearing during dinner (not that the music is bad, just loud). For food, we order the battered fish and chips, as well as the Thai fish curry. The battered fish was as expected, the chips perfectly fried and a nice side salad. The curry was delicious with tons of fish, green beans, bok choy, packing in all the flavor. The staff was hit or miss, some rushing you and some very nice and helpful. Overall good experience and good food.

Yelp
Delicious food - we had the salmon and also the fish and chips Good quality food and value for money Sat outside - the seated area had a strange plastic cover over the outside tables Friendly efficient staff

Adrian C.

Yelp
Staff were polite and quick . Food was very tasty and good quality . Calamari was tender as and the whole fish ( red throat emperor) was done beautifully. A tad pricey but overall a 4/5

Yelp
The quality of the food is average for what you pay. The service is not great with waiters having negative attitudes and not aspiring to customer service. When it's time to pay your bill, they give you the amount and refuse to show you a written itemization. Refused to give a receipt. We concluded that perhaps the staff are pocketing a portion of the check and hide it from the customer! Needless today, not a very pleasant experience!

Yelp
A bit outside of the main strip. This restaurant offers great seafood. The scallops we're fantastic! I also tried the seafood pasta which was a nice healthy entree.

Yelp
Super delicious! staff were friends and accomodating, paid $99 for two mains, two glasses of wine and one entree. I had salmon sashimi for the entree and grilled Spanish mackerel for the main. Sashimi was very very fresh. The main was amazing too. Would highly recommend, worth the price.

Yelp
I got the ocean basket with the fish grilled and it was really overcooked... Being a seafood restaurant I expected everything to be super! The prawns were not peeled or deveined and there wasn't a bowl of water so I could use my hands which left me feeling smelly. The one killpatrick oyster was a little 'powdery' tasting so it really didn't taste fresh! Bit disappointed to say the least but it was the only place I could find a seafood platter for one in the area. Chips were good and staff were on top of things but wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Fish D'vine is a kinda weird combo of a seafood restaurant and a rum bar. No joke. You order your fish & chips from the takeaway area on the left side of the venue, you order your drinks from the bar in the middle if the venue, and then you take your food number and settle down at one of the many tables (some featuring booths against the wall; I do love a booth seat) on the right of the venue. As confusing as it is, all of it is very good. There are some really tempting and surprising things on the menu, and you can lean towards healthy or slightly less healthy. My main of grilled wild barra on steamed book choy with macadamia nut pesto and sweet potato chips was supreme, even if the chips weren't really chips but those crunchy shaved strings of sweet potato (still delicious, but a lot less filling). I couldn't resist asking for some of the "bloody mary mayo" that was supposed to be a part of the evening's special, though of course it didn't really work with the "chips" in my meal. I tried to make it work anyway (by stealing some chips from my companions) because that mayo was delicious. The drinks from the bar were also very good - I couldn't resist starting my evening with a tiki drink in a ridiculously large Appleton Estate tiki mug (/barrel). Look, if you're going to go to a rum bar you may as well get right in the middle of some rum. I also took a couple of mojitos for a spin. Don't bother with the berries you can get added to the mojitos - I tried a blueberry one and they seemed to be tinned berries, or perhaps defrosted ones. Just stick to the regular mojitos because they're tasty enough. I highly recommend that you start a tab for the evening. It sounds slightly extreme, but you can put your food order and your drinks order on the same tab card, because you have to order both separately. It also then makes it very easy to talk yourself into having another round or two of drinks and/or ice-cream. Speaking of ice-cream - do not ignore the house-made ice-cream for dessert. I had a scoop of Baileys (tasted like the drink, but frozen) and a scoop of something else that was so insane my brain has wiped my memory of it. It was that crazy. No regrets.

Yelp
This was right across from where we are staying. Judging by the crowd, we thought we should try it out. Just as a warning; book ahead. We did have to wait but it was only for 10 minutes. Being from New England in the states, I was keen to try the San Francisco Chowder. The broth was nice and creamy and there was a pretty okay mix of seafood. I would say; I'm a bit wary of the freshness but the chowder itself was tasty. Too much fish for my liking. Needs more clams :)!! Finished with the brownie with ice cream and coconut. A classic. Hard to mess this up but it was really great. Would suggest for a middle tier sort of

Yelp
Was recommended by locals that this was the spot to be. Fish Dvine had a casual family setting. They get quite busy even on weekdays so it'll be good to make reservations. Ordered : Raw local oysters they looked small and flat kind of like Kumamoto ones but it had a slight plumpness to it which I liked. Try their ginger vinegar sauce. That paired well and I added a bit of pepper and tobacco as well. Whole crispy fish of the day was a snapper. I thought they could have fried it better. But the sauce and huge bok Choy was delightful. I asked for extra sauce on the side and red chili. I got a whole lot extra! Could have put on two more fishes! Thank you kind lady! For dessert I had the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. Can't go wrong with a warm Choco brownie!

Yelp
Rum barrrrr!!! Omg ( my bf is screaming) he is a rum lover! Well during he pick his rum I pick my food lol Self service, which is good idea u can talk to the people pick the thing u like! The guy behind the seafood area introduce what seafood are good to me, the way how can it be cooked, saw a mud crab it which only 49 dollars! ( u can buy the crab at Sydney for 49 dollars, n cook it yourself) he recommend to me Singaporean style but it's too pepper to me so he give me some other sauce to tried before I make decision. The whole night was wonderful experience! The staffs are extremely nice n friendly! Very welcoming! Wish I can go back!

Yelp
Definitely One of the best restaurants I want to while staying in Airlie Beach. I got the oysters, the thai mud crab and the banana fritters. The oysters were okay, not super flavourful, the mud-crab was DELICIOUS, but very messy to eat... as the sauce is poured overtop everything, it's hard to see the crab meat, and I honestly wish the kitchen had just broken down the crab for me. I've broken down many lobsters in my day, but this crab was not easy. was probably picking at it for at least 20 minutes. The thai sauce though was so good, they could probably bottle it. The banana fritters though, to die for and their mojitos... AMAZING. I could have had 5 more of them.

Yelp
Food was well priced and tasted great! It is set up like a cafe so you find a table and have to then order your food from the counter. You can pay or get a tab set up which you can get food and drinks from the bar and then settle at the end. There is an ATM out the back of the bar so if you want to pay cash you can! The real reason I went was the Rum Bar! It has over 300 types of Rum and if you don't drink Rum.. Tell the bar staff what you normally drink and they'll make it for you...BUT WITH RUM! Staff brilliant..Service excellent..Value for money...food very tasty!

Yelp
Excellent restaurant. Had a dark and stormy which was delicious. After drinks, had the grilled barramundi with macadamia pesto and the BEST SWEET POTATO WEDGES I have ever had. I went there with a group and everyone seemed to have enjoyed their cocktails/food. The only downside is that because you order at the counter all separately, you will not be served at the same time if you go as a group and some decide to order before others.

Yelp
THE RUM BAR. So many rums. So many rum drinks. So little time. My husband and I came here our first night in Airlie because I saw the picture of the rum wall online and demanded to be taken to this heaven. We arrived absurdly early for dinner, so we decided to start with drinks at the bar. As a result, I got to enjoy the best mojito and best dark & stormy I've ever had without the distraction of food. The bartenders there really know their stuff. After drinks, we got a table and had dinner in the restaurant portion of the restaurant. The seafood was delicious, and that's not just the rum talking. We liked the place so much that we came back on our last night in Airlie because I wanted to get the Squeaky in a Tiki. Highly recommended--the fireworks are a lot of fun.

Yelp
We went here on a recommendation from our Skipper and Concierge when we asked where the best fresh seafood was located. They both nailed it! Not only was the Mojito PERFECT, but the Seafood Chowder is absolutely to die for. Perfectly creamy and chock full of different seafood, it has to top the list of best food I've tasted in a long time. My husband had the Seafood Basket with the standard crumbed items but was very impressed with it all and the Kilpatrick oysters turned him into an oyster fan. Highly recommend the Chowder!

Yelp
Very fresh seafood! There is typically a premium price associated with fresh and gourmet seafood. Considering the quality of food and the service, I would say that Fish D'vine is a very well priced restaurant. I took the chef's recommendations and ordered the mud crab cooked in thai chilli style. The dish was very well executed with balanced flavors and the right level of spiciness. I normally could not handle more than 2 oysters but the oysters here were indeed very fresh and my stomach did not complain after the 2nd oyster. I did not know about the rum bar with 300 types of rum. It is rather unfortunate that none of the staff told us about it. Overall still a great place. I would come here again the next time I visit the Whitsundays.

Yelp
Fresh seafood just down the main strip. They have a great rum bar (the mojitos were excellent) where you go right up to the bar and order. Then they have a separate seafood counter where they will tell you about all of the fresh seafood they have that day. We tried the seafood platter so we could get a little bit of everything. It included Thai fish cakes, beer battered fish, oysters, several kinds of shrimp, scallops and fries (we upgraded to include bacon and cheese on our fries, yuuuuummmmm). Everything was fresh and delicious. We would highly recommend it. It started to get crowded right at 7 pm so call ahead or get there early. 210/365

Yelp
We were advised by a local shop owner on a road trip from Rockhampton to Cairns that we needed to try out Fish D'Vine on our way through Airlie. Being foodies, we didn't think twice and promptly booked a table at Fish D'Vine for 6pm once we got to Airlie. That's probably the first tip. Book ahead. It was a Tuesday night and we really didn't except it to be too busy but by the time we were leaving, there was a line up of people waiting for a table. They have an impressive display of fresh, local seafood when you enter so you are aware right away of the "market specials" to help you make a decision one you sit down to order. We ordered the chargrilled crustaceans and chose lobster. We also ordered Asian greens and a chargrilled prawn dish. Unfortunately, the lobster was wayyy overcooked. You could crack the legs with two fingers and they would crumble in your hand. It was dry and for $60, we were disappointed. The Asian greens were okay but not fantastic and the prawns were unfortunately dry too. To be honest, after our experience there we believe the food is pre-cooked and sits in a Bain Marie waiting to be ordered. We get it- to a point. The amount of people waiting for a table suggested that they could not manage to provide them with a meal within a decent time without pre cooking their food. But I felt that we were given an illusion when we walked in, to see all the fresh seafood on display. For $120 for our bill- we would not rave about this place at all. They had lots of staff who were lovely and prompt. They also have an impressive Rum bar with rum cocktails. ( sorry folks, I didn't get any pics. But I know other yelped have posted on here, so check it out) Anyway. To sum up our experience, it was poor. If you know what good, fresh seafood tastes like, you are likely to be disappointed, if this is your first experience eating mud crabs, lobster or bugs, then you may be impressed.

Jc B.

Yelp
This is a lousy place. The food is made in a hurry without any consideration for the quality if the product. The service is below standard. As if it is an honour to eat there.

Dave E.

Yelp
Atmosphere and service is nice, but we were very disappointed from the food. It is lovely prepared on the plate, but the taste is far from great. The seafood chowder has a lot of seafood, unfortunately it doesn't taste at all. Too creamy, seafood wasn't prepared in the chowder and has not much taste. Fish was very dry even though it looked great when it was served. We had fish n chips for $10 that was juicier. Wouldn't go there again...

Yelp
Absolutly the best seafood restaurant in the region. Fresh, tasty food, suitably priced, lively friendly staff that obviously enjoy working there, first class cocktails, great vibe.

Denise G.

Yelp
What a great meal we had this week at Fish D'Vine! Excellent and friendly service. Fine cuisine with creative touches and extremely fresh seafood. Loved the specials but the fish curry stole the show.

Yelp
Interesting combo of seafood and rum. We enjoyed our meals here and can see why it is packed with people.

Yelp
Enjoyed a delicious meal of barramundi with macadamia pesto. Quite reasonable prices too. You have to place your order at the counter, but then meals are delivered to the table. This place has a specialty Rum Bar with more rums than I ever knew existed. The Mojito was excellent indeed.

Yelp
Outrageous food! And the drinks ; off the charts good. Best Mojito ever, even better dark 'n stomy. An Airlie must.

Jie S.

Yelp
Excellent food! Best in Airlie. My parents loved this place so much that they insisted to have dinner there twice while we stayed at Airlie!

Yelp
My cousin and I had dinner here last night and we were less than impressed. For the prices we paid, I expected the food to be outstanding, which it wasn't. The best part of the meal was the salad!! We were surprised as we had heard that the restaurant was good. Pass for me on this one.

Adnan K.

Yelp
Place has great decoration and you can have fresh fish. The menu looks amazing, which will give you a hard time to choose between a dish. Mojitos are amazing and there are many other drinks you can choose if you like rum.

Stan W.

Yelp
We've had a bunch of the entres and hands down the tempura tigre prawns are the best.
