Fish D'vine & The Rum Bar

We went there to celebrate my sister 30th birthday. The grill fish was alright. One side of the fish was good, the other side was super dry. I didn’t know was dry on one side, and I shared some of the fish to my sister. The lamb with mash was not very good. First of all, my friend asked the staff if they can put some note she would like well done. When the lamb dish came, it was medium-rare. The lovely waitress took it back and came back well done, but overall still below average. My sister had the seafood risotto. I’m sorry. It’s probably the worst seafood risotto I had in my life. The seafood wasn’t fresh at all. My sister didn’t like it and me neither. She had to squeeze lots of lemon on her seafood. The best parts of the dinner were the cocktails. They were all above average. I would only recommend the drinks.

The place as such was quite nice. The service was lovely and the drinks were good. Unfortunately the food was a bit of a mixed bag. We had the scallops as an entree which were great. I had the barramundi as a main which was lacking sauce and taste and was rather dry. My partner had the ocean basket which he quite enjoyed.

If you are looking to have amazing seafood, coke here right now!!! Their fish and chips are one of the best I’ve had in my life, the soft shell crab was divine as in the name, and everything else we ordered was just amazing including the drinks! The staff were so friendly and the food came out quite quickly. Because if our amazing experience, we booked another dinner here 🥳

This is probably the worst experience and food i had in a very long time. It took the restaurant more than an hour to serve food and without serving even the entry garlic break and left my pregnant wife starving. The seafood served is not fresh either, the reef fish is not fresh and the meat feels like something taken out of a fridge and has been frozen for a month. The mud crab is also not fresh and too much pepper and has completely lost its crab favour. When we told the waitress that we have been waiting for over an hour she gave us "i don't give a shot" look and made no response to our compliant. Also. They gave us the wrong drinks, 2 out of3 drinks we ordered was wrong.

got recommended by a local, worst experience in Airlie beach. Tasted like frozen food cooked in oven or microwave, two tables arrived later than us had their meals delivered first. When we expressed our disappointment to our waitress, she relied:”ok” , maybe they are under staffed but this sort of food and service along with the price tags, might as well get fish burgers from Maccas.

Wonderful dinner this evening...Thai Fish Curry, and Brownie Dessert. Yummy Yum Yum Rum cocktail. Friendly waitress Eva from France, helped with our selection and gave us excellent service. One of the best meals and atmosphere ever. And nice to meet the charming manager Andrew. We will be back!

My family and I are here on holiday. We came here for dinner in hopes to find a good fresh seafood place! We originally had our reservation inside however we asked to move outside, staff were absolutely amazing! They were able to move our booking without a fuss, we were served by a gentleman who had shaved blonde hair, his service was outstanding, kind and had perfect communication. 🙌🏼 Drinks were refreshing and delicious, perfect balance for the type of food and gorgeous weather at Arlie! The food was out of this world!! Compliments to the chefs - my parents had the seafood platter for 2 + 1/2 dozen oysters: the seafood was fresh, delicious and had a great variety of different types of seafood which was all paired beautifully with the sauce!! 10/10. I had the seafood chowder, this dish is one of my all time favourites and I have to say chefs you nailed it!!! Best chowder I’ve had!! Again flavours were paired perfectly and the ‘cobloaf’ style the meal had just made the whole dish feel like home! This restaurant is pricey but expected as you get what you’re paying for in perfect service and great food and drinks!! I can’t recommend Fish D’vine enough!! I am sad to see this place go. We loved the mud crab the first time we ate here 16 years ago and we loved it again 16 years later. The chili crab is clearly the signature dish. Chowder is also delish! Thanks for the memories Fish D'Vine.
