Google
great location with river view and many birds, do not feed birds, not many customer when we had the lunch around 2:00, so serve really quick. Food is nice .

The service was great, but the food was really bad. My whole family didn't like it. We had 'the net', which had a variety of items and the tempura fish with Asian salad. They were both really plain and unappetising, though they looked alright.

Very expensive for what it is for most dishes . Can anyone see $22 worth in this smoked salmon Caesar salad? Tho saw someone else's fishburger with chips and salad which looked far better value for $18. Crumbed trevalla was just ok. Serving of chips was generous

Staff are friendly and nice . That's all the positive part . Price is outrageously expensive now compare to few years back when I first visited . Food are all re-fried , and stone hard. I just recommended someone to visit here a month ago , and I sincerely regret . Everyone else , avoid at all cost . P.s. next episode of kitchen nightmare location spotted …

The food is pricey for what it is and, though I did enjoy my fish burger, it was nothing I couldn't have created much cheaper in my own kitchen. There is no complementary water and drink prices are, though standard for restaurants, a tad expensive. It borders between restaurant and fast-food place, yet doesn't deliver on either side particularly well.

Crumbed flathead was great. Chips were nice. Calamari excellent. Garden salad fresh and nicely dressed. Service friendly and quick. Marks off for no potato cakes, and price. $82 for takeaway to feed two adults and small child, and a soft drink and a juice.

Yelp
The most expensive fish and chips I've had in my life. 2 adults and 3 children - each had 2 pieces of fish (trevalla, flake, flathead) (fish doesn't come with chips), the table had 2 serves of chips and a garden salad. We had 3 soft drinks. The bill was $144. To their credit the fish serves we're good portions, fresh, hot and tasty, and the chips were nice. The service was good. After ordering (there was only 1 ordering till and the line was 15 people deep causing a wait on ordering for say 15 minutes) the food arrived in ~15 minutes. But in terms of value for money this place sucks. Go to Mures in Hobart where exactly the same would cost you a little over $100.

Yelp
Twice in two days, I must really like this place. With several different types of whitefish, and three different types of batter to choose from, you're not going to be disappointed. I really enjoyed the freshness of the fish. The only bad thing is the frozen chips/fries, but the fish more than makes up for it. Even though the chips are frozen, they're still pretty good. The next time I'm in Launceston, I'm certain to find myself here again. American tourists, if you haven't already acclimated to the higher prices for eating at a restaurant in Australia, don't be put off. The pricing is reasonable for what you get.

Yelp
The food is delicious. However, it cost us around $50 for two pieces of non-fancy fish, some chips and two soft drinks to takeaway! That's not a reasonable price for fish and chips. The venue itself was empty (another reason we chose to takeaway) and looked like nothing special. So, the food is good, but for what it is, I'm not sure it's worth the price.
