My parents stayed at this hotel for two nights. In our experience, accessing the hotel was quite inconvenient, as guests need to travel by raft both when arriving and leaving. This also meant the hotel was far from shops and restaurants, which made it impractical. On the first night, my husband and I joined my parents for dinner at the hotel. The food options were very limited, and the staff were not particularly welcoming. It felt as though other in-house guests were being prioritised, despite my parents also staying at the hotel. During dinner, the restaurant was very stuffy and hot. My husband politely asked a waiter if the window next to our table could be opened, but was told no, as other guests might feel cold and complain. This response felt dismissive and lacked consideration for our comfort. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and experience. Considering the price, this hotel did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend it.

Fish Tail Resort is a peaceful and scenic escape in Pokhara. The short boat ride to reach the property adds a unique and calming touch, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they also arranged activities for us at very good rates. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Special thanks to Mr. Gum Bahadur for assisting with our luggage and being helpful at every moment. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay!

I had an excellent experience at the Fish Tail hotel in Pokhara. Especially the heritage rooms are spectacular with amazing views. The staff, especially Sunita and everyone at the restaurant and the reception, were beyond helpful and nice. I also got a treatment at the spa and was very pleased.
