Fish Tail Lodge by Annapurna

My parents stayed at this hotel for two nights. In our experience, accessing the hotel was quite inconvenient, as guests need to travel by raft both when arriving and leaving. This also meant the hotel was far from shops and restaurants, which made it impractical. On the first night, my husband and I joined my parents for dinner at the hotel. The food options were very limited, and the staff were not particularly welcoming. It felt as though other in-house guests were being prioritised, despite my parents also staying at the hotel. During dinner, the restaurant was very stuffy and hot. My husband politely asked a waiter if the window next to our table could be opened, but was told no, as other guests might feel cold and complain. This response felt dismissive and lacked consideration for our comfort. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and experience. Considering the price, this hotel did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend it.

Waking up to the serene view of Fewa Lake and the Annapurna Range was simply unforgettable. We enjoyed a lot at the Fish Tail Lodge. Wonderful ambience, very polite staffs right from reception to house keeping, Spa and to mention few names from restaurant- Kishna, Surendra, Zenisna, Ganga and Pradeep. Wide variety of food, wine and single malt whiskey. Would love to come back!!!

I went on a vacation to Pokhara with my family and choosing Fishtail Lodge by Annapurna was one of the best choices we’ve made. The hospitality was peak and the atmosphere was so lovely! Fish Tail Resort is a peaceful and scenic escape in Pokhara. The short boat ride to reach the property adds a unique and calming touch, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they also arranged activities for us at very good rates. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Special thanks to Mr. Gum Bahadur for assisting with our luggage and being helpful at every moment. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay!

I recently stayed at Fishtail Lodge for two days, and it was an amazing experience. Every single staff member — from the reception to the boat puller — was incredibly humble and welcoming. Their warm hospitality truly made the stay special. The peaceful environment, beautiful lake view, and excellent service made me feel completely relaxed. We recently stayed for two nights at this hotel . Our overall views as follow . 1) rooms are cosy little small and old charm . 2) location -excellent location on the bank of phera lake , overlooks lake 3) STAFF - extremely polite , courteous and well trained , highly impressive. 4) FOOD - they have one restaurants . Had chance of eating various cuisine, quality and taste good . 5) AMENITIES - they gave fitness center , can do most of the exercises SWIMMING POOL . Having wonderful view . SPA- very good spa . Had 60 Mnts deep tissue with Ramila . She was very good . 6) BREAKFAST is well spread out and excellent . OVERALL had good experience. Highly recommended.
