"The drinks are stiff and the seafood serious at the casual Fishcamp overlooking scenic Broad Creek. Sit outdoors by the firepit and watch the sunset over the historic waterfront. Happy hour is between 4 and 6 p.m., when you can get $2 off the bar menu and $1 off drinks. This is one of the rare places on the island to taste southern favorites like deviled eggs with fried oysters, gator bites, and fried frog legs." - Travel + Leisure Editors

"It's hard to go wrong with raw bar offerings from most of the restaurants, but try Fish Camp, where in addition to seafood, there are marina views, lawn games, and a fire pit for when the sun goes down."

This is a must go to restaurant in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The servers were friendly and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu. Our server Ms. Abby was so on point, she ensured we were take care of and pleased throughout our entire meal! The seating is very nice and service was timely. The food was plenteous and delicious! You must try the Prince Edward Island Mussels and the Blacken Shrimp Salad!❤️ The meal was scrumptious, flavorful, in other words delicious!😋 Thank you Fish Camp for a fabulous eating experience.❤️❤️❤️

Went on a Saturday night around 7 pm. We were told it was going to be a 15 minute wait for a table and in less than 5 minutes, our table was ready! The atmosphere is amazing and there was live music which could be heard throughout the restaurant! Food, drinks, and dessert were all amazing!

Google
The BEST restaurant for casual seafood 🍤🦀 in all of Hilton Head. And located in the heart if Coligny. As a side note, the women’s restroom actually has a private stall with its own sink!!! I’d eat here JUST to use this bathroom. Very clean and well kept restrooms. 🚽

I have to say this was a wonderful experience! The food was great, very flavorful, we all enjoyed our separate meals. I also wanted to thank our server Kyle again for a wonderful birthday dinner! He was very easy going and really showed us a great overall experience. It was a great way to end our visit to Hilton Head. Great restaurant and we highly recommend!

Me and my family had a great time. We loved the drinks and the hush puppies as our appetizer. Great atmosphere with the water, sunset, and boats. I enjoyed my meal, I loved the shrimp risotto and the may river oysters. My mom’s fish was overcooked but the manager came out and sincerely apologized. She offered if we wanted anything else instead, great customer service! Had a fun evening walking the pier and playing some outdoor games.

Google
We loved our meal at the bar! We didn't have a reservation and put ourselves on the list, a spot opened at the bar and it was perfect! Great beer and wine selection, excellent food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Google
This was our first visit to Fishcamp, and we loved the experience! It is a fun atmosphere with an outside area complete with couches, games, a bar and great views! Though we sat inside, we had great food, great cocktails, great service, and could hear the live singer playing outside. We can't wait to come back here with the rest of our family!

Google
Loved it here! Mostly for the awesome atmosphere. Definitely sit outside if you can. Service was good and food was yummy. My only complaint is that it was buggy on the patio but that obviously can’t be controlled very much. I would definitely return!

Yelp
As usual when traveling for my job, Yelp is my go too for finding locally owned businesses. Fishcamp did NOT disappoint! While reading reviews, I was able to reserve a table for 6pm. Upon arrival, I was seated immediately on the porch that had heaters. The weather was beautiful, along with the view. My server was Cam, who was very polite and professional. I was able to have time to decompress and then enjoy a yummy meal. My order was of hushpuppies, crab cake, side salad with green goddess dressing (so tasty) and bread pudding. I could not finish the meal and packed some to go containers. The manager (owner ?) came by the table to ensure my experience was a good one. He too was professional and polite. The interior of the restaurant was immaculately clean of what I saw. Excellent selection of music playing in the background that adjusted to the perfect volume. My visit was top notch and have no negative feedback. If in the area again, I will definitely return!

Yelp
Great view of the river, Mussels to Die For This restaurant offers a truly beautiful setting right on the marsh. The views alone are worth the visit. While the signature Bloody Marys weren't to my liking, the mussels were absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked, plump, and flavorful, they were easily the best I've ever had. The accompanying sauce and bread were equally delicious. The service was a bit inconsistent, but the quality of the mussels and the stunning location make this place a worthwhile experience.

Yelp
While on a recent trip to HHI I wanted to come here for thanksgiving dinner, sadly I was overruled, but I made it the day after. I got to watch the sunset at the outdoor bar, then the front of house took amazing care of my group when one of them forgot to finish reservations. They even got us tables next to each other. The food was so tasty, I mean perfectly prepared and oh so tasty. The staff were amazing as well. I highly recommend if you read this, you should come here for dinner.

Yelp
We went to Fish Camp on Broad Creek for dinner, earlier this year and came back on Friday night (Sept 6th). We're glad that we did. This place is always crowded, even after Labor Day. The locals know how good it is. Get a reservation before driving there. Even with a reservation, there was a bit of a wait. We found a couple of stools at the bar and decided to order dinner there. We started with fried oysters on deviled eggs. Had never tried this before but it was a very good combination. For dinner, I had sauteed scallops and Bethany had a seafood risotto with lobster, shrimp and mussels. We were in seafood heaven. If you're dining here around sunset, be prepared to take some photos. The view across Broad Creek is gorgeous.

Yelp
There are some places you just have to visit due to their location and/or view. It might be the space needle in San Antonino or a coffee shop on the side of a mountain, but seeing is believing. Now whether the food is any good or the wine list is of quality, that's secondary. And initially I would say the same about here. But I said it as a motivator for you to visit, not to demean their food. Because their food, oh it is delicious! I just am making clear that the view and the patio seating is not to be missed. Since I have discovered this place it is a must-visit every time I am at HH. And I will wait for the outdoor seating. And with the number of tables, the feel is akin to a family cookout. Everyone is relaxed, having a great time, and getting more full by the second. Now the menu is fairly consistent, but I have seen items come and go so if one of these is not present when you go I apologize. I start off with the jalapeno hushpuppies. Hushpuppies and seafood are just meant to be and the heat from the peppers are offset by the honey butter that accompanies it. I have a hard time not emptying the basket while waiting for the main course. The crab cake is also delicious as is the lobster bisque. They've been known to have she crab soup as well. Of all the main dishes I favor the blackened Carolina catfish. Basically because it checks all the boxes; pepper, regional, and catfish. You can say what you want about that bottom feeder, but it is delicious when cooked right. And if my stomach still has the space, the chocolate peanut butter mousse takes me home. Airy and gone in a few bites. I have always, always had top notch interactions with the team here; from check in to check out. They are as happy to be there as I am. Maybe that's because they get to enjoy the view on a constant basis. If you are in the area, be sure to stop in!

Yelp
Had reservations for dinner inside and we had a wonderful meal! We were seated right away and our server was efficient and nice. The food was delicious. We especially loved the jalapeño hush puppies, crab cakes, and filet. The jalapeño margarita was spicy and refreshing. We would definitely come back for another meal. I highly recommend reservations. Knocking off one star because after dinner we headed outside out back and it was a mess with abandoned glasses and plates from guests who had left- all over the couches and sitting areas. Maybe it was just bad timing but it was a mess.

Yelp
What a fantastic place this was! We decided to go to dinner while here in Hilton head. We went with a somewhat large group. When we got there we had about an hour wait. Normally waiting at a place can be a bit boring, but not here! They have some various different things you can do. I was entertained by playing some corn hole. It's also right next to a bay and a marina that you could walk to. Some other folks in our group grabbed some margs. Lots of cool photo op spots as well for your friends or family. When you think of a by the water restaurant, this is what I envision. The atmosphere is incredible and not something you can find at home back in Indiana! After about an hour or so, we were finally seated. Since we were with a lot of people we ordered some apps. We got the hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, and calamari. I tried a little of each. I particularly enjoyed the calamari, but all of them were great! For dinner I got the southern fried flounder. It came with fries and homemade slaw. It was served on kind of a weird plate/bowl thing but I could get past it. The flounder was delicious! I really enjoyed it! The fries and slaw were fine. I was really happy with what I chose. All the other food looked great. The service was fine, nothing to write home about but it did the job. They were really busy so I wasn't expecting anything over the top. Like I said earlier, when I think of picturesque and fun places to go on a beach trip, this is a place you can think of. I absolutely loved it and if I come back to Hilton head this will be on my list to go back. Thank you for the great time!

Julia M.

Yelp
We had another great dinner at Fishcamp last night. The food and service were both great. We started with appetizers - Hushpuppies, calamari, and fried green tomatoes. All 3 were good. Hubs had the seafood pasta, which looked great. I decided to try the tripletail, which was served with a cream sauce, corn risotto, and asparagus. Everything was delicious. Everyone else was happy with their meals as well. Make a reservation during high season, or the wait can be lengthy!

Yelp
We came here for lunch with our 2 dogs to sit outside. The view of the Creek was nice and they also had corn hole and other seating set up if you wanted something different than a table. We got a table under an umbrella on the deck next to the bar. They have plenty of regular low top tables, bar seats, and high top tables outside. They even have spare dogbowls and a water station for your dog. Inside is decorated in wood and has booths and low top tables. Our server Jackson was very helpful & good-natured. He helped us get water for our dogs and didn't even flinch when water from a recent rainstorm poured down on him from an umbrella unexpectedly. For an appetizer, I got the she crab soup. It was AMAZING! Lots and lots of crab. The flavor was on-point and with plenty of sherry. Highly recommend! All seafood is local per our waiter Jackson. Everything looked like they breaded it right there at the restaurant. Hubby got the fish and chips. The flounder was good size and served with plenty of french fries and a side of green slaw. Fries were very good and perfect to use some malt vinegar on, which I asked for and thankfully they had some. I got the fried seafood combo. It was a smaller piece of flounder, shrimp, and oysters with a side of french fries and green slaw. Michael got a local beer called Crab and I got a bottle of Blue Moon. You MUST get the key lime pie here. It is soft, creamy and flavorful. They topped it beautifully with blueberries and strawberries. It was such a pretty dessert !

Yelp
We actually came because Ben Lewis was supposed to be playing here with his wife Monday nights this summer. Sadly, due to the weather (they would be playing outdoors), they had to cancel because of the rain. Fortunately, the food was delicious. I ordered the seafood pasta and my husband ordered the seafood risotto. Our kids got the kids macaroni and kids shrimp. I also got the crab cake and it was yummy. You can taste more crab than filler which is what I like. We had one server named Greg who basically got our drinks and orders and then he got released because they had too many servers and not many customers due to the rain. Our next server who took over was named Lou. She was funny and personable. Over all the food was good and other than some dampness being outside everything was great. We would come back, hopefully Ben will be playing next year when we come back!

Yelp
What a FIND! So we originally came to Up the Creek but the ambiance was kinda lacking. Sooooo we hopped over to this place... it was phenomenal!!!! We lucked out got in 5 minutes Great outdoor seating Live music playing Ordered hush puppies and calamari to start..... whoa we're full My cast net entree had to be taken home. I tried one of each ... oyster, fish, and shrimp .... Yummers Washed down with jalapeno margaritas This is down home love

Yelp
One of my favorite spots while we were down in Hilton Head! Got so many recommendations from locals- and this was highly suggested. Did not disappoint! Great seafood, oysters were just okay, but everything else we had was fabulous. The fried pickles and calamari was a top tier combo! Have never been anywhere where the 2 were combined- absolutely loved it. The views were amazing! We sat right by the water, it was not hot, a beautiful sunny day. Fire pit, lawn style chairs, and yard games were around. Everyone was having a blast. The perfect weekend lunch spot!

Stormy M.

Yelp
We all agreed that the Jalapeño hush puppies were some of the best EVER!! We would all come back just to have another serving of those yummy delights. This location is on the water with both indoor and outdoor dining. It a fun environment with cornhole games adjacent to the outdoor seating area. The service is good but not too helpful with special orders or sharing dishes. We started with the lobster bisque soup. Warm, rich and delicious. The jalapeño hush puppies are a must. I had chopped salad with blackened salmon. The salmon was a bit overcooked and dried. The grilled salmon may have been a better option. The filet mignon was a very good option. We had it with mashed potatoes instead of the roasted potatoes. A very enjoyable dining experience and will definitely return.

Yelp
I was super lucky (day of) and snagged 6 o'clock reservations on a Friday. Parking was a little bit of a hassle, but again finally lucked out with another car pulling out. The restaurant itself was a bit small inside, but had a nice southern fishing vibe. I enjoyed the live music was being played throughout the restaurant. The food was amazing, as was my "Blood Orange Gin Rickey", not over powering and was pretty refreshing. For starters I ordered half a dozen of the James river oysters, which were a good size and great brine flavor. I was in between the flounder and the shrimp and polenta, so the waitress steered me toward the shrimp. It was honestly one of the best shrimp dishes I have ever tasted. There was a ton of flavor and the polenta was perfectly paired with all the Cajun style sauce (not spicy).

Perry D.

Yelp
Nothing special except the view...sat at outside bar in January...food (Oysters app) was just okay, drinks were fine and bartender was great...if food was better would be at least 4

Elliott L.

Yelp
We came here after doing a Dolphin crusie that was amazing. There was an hour and a half time limit that rushed us which we didn't like. I got a tomato bisque which was the soup of the day and was the best part of the meal. All of the fish was ok at best. High prices and maybe we didn't get their special but it wasn't good food. The restaurant was nice and had a person singing covers of popular songs and the place looked nice and even had merchandise but really wasn't a place I will go back to. The servers didn't check or really talk to us at all and overall not a good place. Just please improve the taste of the sauce and value requests.

Kate F.

Yelp
I split the crab cakes and the flounder stuffed with crab and both were absolutely delicious . I think it was the best meal I had all week that we were on vacation. It's a great location right on the water. There was a wait but they have a bar next door with live music outside so we didn't mind waiting. The service was good as well. The prices were really reasonable too!

Anvaya N.

Yelp
Fishcamp has the perfect water deck for a quiet evening in Hilton Head. The place gets super busy during dinner time to reservations are needed. They have daily specials. We started with the lobster bisque was really good. We had calamari and hush puppies as well. For mains we tried their seafood pasta and crab cakes. The seafood pasta was super fresh and delicious, definitely worth it. The crab cakes weren't crispy and just too fishy for us. Overall place is great for dinner on the water.

Jason O.

Yelp
Fishcamp is a fun spot for groups and families. The restaurant has more outdoor seating than indoor which is great when the weather is cooperates. They have a big outdoor bar as well. They also have big fans outside to keep you cool and to keep the bugs away. The service was friendly and professional. The food was pretty good. I had the seafood pasta which was tasty but a bit too creamy. It's a nice spot for drinks and food. Enjoy.

Thomas G.

Yelp
The food had a great flavor. The fish didn't taste fishy; the fried shrimp was lightly breaded; the lobster bisque was excellent--however NOTHING was hot! The temp on everything was just barely warm. From where I was seated, I could see that my plate sat on the counter for at least 10 minutes. It was placed there before the soup was served; and after finishing the soup, it continued to sit there. I could see the fries and thought...shoot, I hope that's not my plate. I kept an eye on it, and sure enough, it was mine. It didn't help much that we were seated right across from the door, and it was really chilly out. I'm not one to complain unless something is really out of whack...but this $100 meal could have been much more enjoyable if it had been hot! The rating would have been a 5 had the food been served as soon as it was prepared.

Yelp
Dinner, sunset, and cornhole at Fishcamp on Broad Creek, Hilton Head. We ate out for dinner every evening. It was our First time to Fishcamp on Broad Creek and I loved the casual waterfront vibe and lovely indoor/ outdoor location in a marina on the marshy inlet. My clams & mussels pasta in a lemon caper cream sauce was quite good, but the May River oysters were the best oysters of the week. The others ordered blackened catfish, fried green tomatoes & pimento, she-crab soup, crab-stuffed flounder, scallops, and all the desserts! It was a lively atmosphere especially for a Monday night and the service was attentive. We all enjoyed the corn hole and giant jenga after dinner. We'll definitely go back.

Annamarie A.

Yelp
My husband & I ate lunch here. It was between here & Hudsons, but we decided on here instead & I'm glad we did! We're from Wilmington, NC, and my husband is from the historic Seabreeze area & he said being outside here reminded him of home; I felt the same. The chill vibe was great! We started off with their calamari & pickles. It was cooked perfectly; just enough crisp. I decided to try their take on shrimp & grits & tried their shrimp & polenta & it was SO good! I'm still thinking about the richness of those flavors! My husband got their fried shrimp with fries. We do a lot of seafood cooking & my husband typically doesn't like restaurant fried shrimp (due to lack of seasoning and/or too much breading), but he enjoyed this shrimp! He also raved about the fries (weird thing to really comment on, right?! lol); he said they had the perfect crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. They also gave us a complimentary dessert, since we let our server know we were in town celebrating our 20th anniversary, & I got the turtle cheesecake to go. I ate the cheesecake later that night & was really tasty. I loved the blueberry & strawberry addition. We'll definitely be back here when we're back in town.

John C.

Yelp
Great casual seafood on Broad Creek. Relatively easy to get to from Sea Pines, Coligny and Route 278. Food and service are consistently good. There is a large outdoor deck area for eating and drinking, but they also have indoor dining. Salads, fish and shrimp are always good.

Lauren M.

Yelp
As with most seafood restaurants on the island during high season, expect to wait, go for the view, and expect a few good dishes and a few "ok" dishes to attract and appease the vacationers. Order apps, because the food is simply "good". You'll get fresh, reliable seafood that is prepared well. I'll recommend the hushpuppies and raw seafood options over most main courses. Fried seafood options are well-prepared and not too heavily breaded; however, one dish was a little heavily salted. Highly recommend: fried oysters, fried maine lobster tail for a really unique and flavorful treat, the seafood pasta, and the shellfish tower Not a fan, but worth trying: the fried green oysters were just a little too heavily breaded for my liking, but many fellow southerners really enjoy them that way, so if you like breading, give them a try, you might love! on the fence: the huspuppies were well-made and flavorful, but if you truly love jalapeños (which I don't, thankfully) I think you'll be dissatisfied with these, it tasted more like just the flesh of the pepper was used and not evenly dispersed throughout the batter. The staff is mediocre at best, but again, I visit this island every summer and have the same story at least once. No one has ever been outright rude thus far so as long as I can get some decent communication and a refill, I wouldn't bother with the fuss about this.

Savannah L.

Yelp
I was a big fan of this location and i loved the view. It was right on the water and they had fire pits, couches and more outdoor waiting areas. They also had a little area for kids to play. There was also live music that was great to listen while waiting and eating. The bar was right outside with plenty of outdoor seating. When it came to the food, it was so delicious. I ordered a salad with shrimp to not fill myself up too much. The table also got shrimp cocktail and crab cakes which were also delicious. The Painkiller drink was good but very sweet, keep that in mind if looking for a strong cocktail. The server was quick and very friendly!

Vasily K.

Yelp
It's actually a good restaurant with a great view. Rarely happens as more and more get increasingly corporate, but Fishcamp seems to be keeping up a high standard. Keep in mind that even showing up on a Monday evening, the restaurant is absolutely shoulder to shoulder, so try to make a reservation or arrive before the rush. We had the fried greens, which were super thin and heavily breaded. The jalapeno hushpuppies, which didn't seem to have jalapeno but were saved by butter. For mains, we enjoyed the fried shrimp, seared scallops, and crab cakes. All of the food was delicious and showed some care and thought that went into the menu. My only complaints is that the scallops had some sauce layered on top, which wasn't described on the menu, and we never heard specials. I love something new and offbeat from the menu, but we never heard about the good stuff. Super good time!

Katie L.

Yelp
After doing a ton of research on menus and reviews, I decided to make a lunch reservation at Fishcamp and boy am I glad I did! The lunch menu in particular has a wonderful variety from tacos to poke to surf and turf burgers. Service was friendly and it does not get more beautiful than the back patio. I did miss soy on my poke, a ponzu sauce would have gone a long way. Even so, would absolutely go back!

Melody B.

Yelp
Highly recommend making a reservation and sitting outside! The parking lot was big, but come a few minutes earlier than planned because it does fill up fast. Appetizers were really good, but the main courses were just okay. I loved the jalapeño hushpuppies. Hushpuppies can be really dry sometimes, but these were perfectly made. I also loved the fried pickles from the calamari & pickles app. I ordered the fried shrimp with fries & coleslaw. The fries were lukewarm and desperately needed some seasoning. I tried the grouper from my husband's dish (Parmesan crusted grouper) and it was super bland tasting. Service was mediocre. Our server was nice, but barely came to our table. I was done with my meal before I got a refill on water. Overall I would maybe give this restaurant another shot and order different main dishes next time. The outside patio is really beautiful and they had a really talented singer singing covers.

Donna U.

Yelp
This is a true seafood place with limited options for those that do not like seafood. Came for happy hour which is $1 off drinks and $2 off the bar menu. I got the fried oyster bites and my wife (who doesn't like seafood) got the southwest Caesar salad with chicken. We split the fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes came out quickly and were very good. Our mains came out not too long after but we're just ok. My portion size for the oysters was smaller than I thought, but they were light and flavorful with a chili dipping sauce. My wife was disappointed with her salad as it didn't have a whole lot of toppings. We grabbed a drink and sat for the live music that started at 6 and enjoyed the sunset.

Anu N.

Yelp
Food and service were ok. What was great about the place is the location. However, it was dark so we really couldn't see much if the view or enjoy the location : being in the water. I think it was overpriced and underwhelming.

Ashley E.

Yelp
Amazing views and delicious food. We tried several seafood restaurants while on the island and this one was everyone's favorite. Marina views were ideal, seafood was fresh with several offerings and pricing was good!

Hannah L.

Yelp
We had a great meal at Fishcamp- best one during our trip to HHI. We loved the outdoor ambiance on the dock (and even got to see the Tuesday Shelter Cove fireworks from the dock), and had incredible service. Our servers were Kyle and Mary Elizabeth and they were so thoughtful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a positive experience. We absolutely devoured the crab boil, the shrimp boil was good (but just doesn't compare to the crab), loved the fresh oysters, and the homemade dessert was a true icing on the cake. Will definitely make this part of our annual visit to Hilton head.

Hans B.

Yelp
This is an updated review. I was hopeful for a good return visit...It started by obtaining a great parking space and the musician was fantastic! To begin ..I ordered a shrimp cocktail prior to this...6-7 shrimp on ice and seemingly looked ok... But they were mushy. Somewhat of a combination between overcooked and soggy from sitting in the ice water. This was disappointing as a fish restaurant is supposed to have this nailed down. After we both ordered the grouper dish...and it came with asparagus and one cherry tomato cut in 1/2. It was bland and a bit overdone.. we would not order again. So for hanging out and a drink it was good... Very disappointed about the food. The waitstaff was efficient. We had fun at the bar but that was about it. The first visit I had was great but the next few weren't great and we don't know if we will go back.

Sara H.

Yelp
The patio is beautiful and the service was fast and friendly. The tuna salad was one of my favorite meals the entire trip.

Sophie P.

Yelp
Went here for our last night of family vacation. Had an outdoor area with live music and games with a water view. The food was great. Filet was cooked perfectly and seafood pasta had more seafood than pasta, which I am not mad about. Service was great, we had a big party and all our food came out all at the same time. Server made sure we had enough drinks too

B G.

Yelp
By far the worst meal we have had in Hilton Head. We've been coming here for years and wanted to give this place a chance since it's popular. The WORST calamari I've ever had. Very chewy. Even the fish special, mahi, was over cooked & tough. The painkiller was the best thing we ordered. The hostess first sat us in the complete sun. We asked to move to the shade. I would never come back to this dreadful establishment.

Amy A.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful vibe at the Fishcamp! Situated on the marsh under huge live oak trees with a nice breeze. Service was great, yet the food was lacking. The Fried Green Tomato app was terribly disappointing - thin tomatoes coated in a heavy, tough coating. The pimento cheese on top was good though. For entrées, the Seafood Pasta stole the show - excellent flavor and a good amount of seafood. The Fried Shrimp Baskets were underwhelming. Fries were limp and not completely done, the shrimp were good yet heavily battered. The coleslaw is extremely sweet and far from my taste. Aside from a very nice outdoor experience, we would not return.

Christina K.

Yelp
This was my first time at fish camp and omg! SO delicious!!!! The food was absolutely amazing, the view was a dream & even the wait is fun (corn hole, other games). Great ambiance!

Michelle M.

Yelp
All items ordered were delicious, server was attentive and personable. Atmosphere perfect with breeze from the water and live music.

Steve P.

Yelp
This is a very fun place on the water, great sunset! Food is excellent We had the tower! Perfect for 2! Ask for drawn butter!! Everyone and everything here is very good! We love this place, i am truly not a Hilton Head Fan but I do like several of the restaurants!! This island is snooty and upitty and you a lot of times you feel out of place here , almost Yankee land, no offense intended!! But just not southern hospitality of Savannah or Charleston!! But people are nice, and food is great!!

Paula Z.

Yelp
First timers. If you can, eat outside. Nice view and casually elegant. The inside is tight and noisy. It was worth waiting for an outside table. Small menu but good choices. The Dafuskie blue crab cakes were great. The asparagus was spot on perfectly cooked. One person had the grouper, one had fried local shrimp and one had another fried fish. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Best hush puppies on the island. Good service, too.

Yelp
Crab cakes and crab legs were delicious. The Grouper was okay. Customer service was great the first visit, not so good the second visit.

Yelp
Loved this place! We are locals and stayed away for a while because we know it's popular with tourists. But... for good reason!!! View is spectacular on broad creek. Service speedy and friendly- I could tell - to all the tables. Games for families and the food was DELICIOUS. We went for late lunch about 3 pm and got seated right away. Dog friendly patio and fans to keep you cool. Great bar with views too. It's now one of our top places. Walk around the docks and see boats. Lovely.

Yelp
We visited Fishcamp for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We made a reservation and were seated right away on the outdoor patio. We throughly enjoyed the acoustic music and a breezy atmosphere and of course as well as the food. We had the tuna for an appetizer and steak and grouper for our entrees. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. Also enjoyed a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Overall we will return and can't wait to try more!

Yelp
Our favorite spot on Hilton head-this seafood centric spot felt much more authentic and the food and drinks were much higher quality then the other spots we tried during our stay in Hilton head. Parking is a nightmare but we lucked out after circling for a few minutes for our 7 pm reservation. You check In-Out front and we were shown to a nice corner booth. We started with a tasty crab cake with a great sauce-a perfect starter. My wife chose the fresh Atlantic salmon an I had the grouper. Bother we're terrific and our young server Michael did a great job making us feel welcome and seeing to our needs. They have a nice by the glass wine list with some more unusual gems as well as a number of Kraft cocktails. My old fashioned hit the spot after enduring a number of fanciful touristy drinks at other establishments. Also, this easily had the highest quality seafood that we had during our stay on the island. Reservations a must-highly recommended

Yelp
Delicious all around!! The hush puppies are pretty big but had great flavor (not spicy at all)! Don't recommend the lobster bisque as it was pretty bland but highly recommend the dinner. I got the chef special which was a white fish... AMAZING. Great place for kids as there is a big outdoor play area with jenga and corn hole. Service was great even when the restaurant was pretty busy. We were originally told the wait would be 1.5 hours so we went to the bar and grabbed a drink and hush puppies- we only had to wait ~35 minutes!

Yelp
Beautiful place, loved sitting outside. While the ladies showing you to your tables were a bit snotty, our server Oksana was outstanding. Friendly, courteous & attentive. I had the shrimp @ polenta, which I will remember to my dying day. That sauce was amazing,it was a great dish. Husband had the Seafood Risotto. Presentation on it was beautiful, lobster succulent, but he felt the dish lacked something. Beautiful property, live music.

Yelp
Beautiful location and appealing ambiance to enjoy some delicious fresh seafood. The pan seared scallops and hush puppies were on point. The parking can be a challenge unless you get there early. Worth the wait! Wonderful service and our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and helped to make our selections.
