Fisherman's Cove

Wow! Was concerned about storm damage and reconstruction but other than trucks in the parking lot, it never bothered us. Our 2nd floor unit was well furnished and equipped. The beach has not been restored but Turtle beach next door is beautiful. The pool is not open yet but they are working on it. The 5 stars are for what has been done and how relaxing our visit was.

My family absolutely loved our stay here. Plenty of things to do and see, breath taking views. Family friendly.

We stayed at Fisherman's Cove on Siesta Key in mid-November and absolutely LOVED our stay. We had stayed at the property in a different unit several years prior so were familiar with the area. The location is just what we wanted for peace and tranquility. The units are well maintained, very quiet and the sunsets are nothing short of SPECTACULAR! The management staff was friendly and very accommodating. Phone calls made prior to our arrival were so helpful and informative. While we were there, the staff was available and easy to work with. A bit off the beaten path is perfect for relaxing and quiet evenings with a definite feeling of security as only guests or owners are on the property. While there was some construction on the first floor in process (due to the hurricanes in 2024) it was not an issue for us at all. There is so much to do and see in the area and we were gone during the hours the workers were on the grounds. When we returned to the property in the late afternoon, the workers were gone and the parking lot was always cleaned with ample parking for overnight. We will not even think of staying anywhere else and would absolutely recommend Fisherman's Cove without hesitation! We can't wait to visit again and are already looking at dates to return.

The view from our unit was amazing! Sunsets every night! Everyone was very kind and helpful. The only blemish was the construction onsite during our stay. Other than that the we loved the area and hope to make it back again someday soon.

OMG💖💖Beautiful is an understatement. My family and I had an amazing vacation here last year and we have already reserved our condo for this year. Siesta Keys beach is gorgeous!!! Clear blue water, the food is delicious and fresh. We just loved everything about our vacation. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to reserve yourself a condo on one of the worlds most beautiful beaches. ♥️☀️

The Fisherman's Cove condo was very nice inside and clean. The buildings and grounds are well cared for and clean. There was assigned parking so that was never a problem. Pool area was clean, pool water a great temperature. But...it's a frame building and I heard people in next unit talking while I was washing my hands in the bathroom sink! Every time they closed a door, we heard it. There are beautiful sunset views every night. Beautiful sunrises out of the bedroom window overlooking Blind Pass. The sunroom windows are screened which is nice for bugs, not for taking pictures. Nice to rent but I would not own one after hearing people above, below, next door.

This place was absolutely beautiful. My fiancée and I stayed in unit A306, which is owned by Scott Weaver. Scott is very much ontop of everything and is without question a top tier host. Our unit was furnished above and beyond, everything was thought out in the finest of details. Even down to the small stuff like clips for our bags of chips, wine openers, just incredible. I was so very thankful for the many beach umbrellas and beach chairs that were in the unit itself. After having time to familiarize ourselves with all of siesta key, I'd have to say hands down, that these condos are the best out of them all. It's all about the location with these condos. Truly. Beachfront is an understatement. Furthermore, even in the peak of the summer months, the private beach area owned by fisherman's cove makes for a very peaceful, quiet, and laid back experience. There is a public beach a few steps away, but it has very limited parking, and, by far, this is the most unpopulated stretch of beach. With that said, the sunsets are breathtaking. The water is absolutely gorgeous and aqua when the ocean is calm. It rivals Cancun in that aspect. The night sky is absolutely gorgeous with all the stars. It was an amazing experience to open up the lanai when it was dark out, and listen to the ocean and watch for shooting stars. The bed and plentiful amount of pillows were very comfy. Honestly I couldn't say a single bad thing about this place. Just an absolutely wonderful place in which amazing, lifelong memories were made. Thank you, Scott, and all of the fisherman's cove staff for making this such an unforgettable vacation for us.

My room A301. The kitchen was not adequately equipped for cooking; the pots had no lids, were small, and there weren't enough of them. Because of this, I was forced to eat out every night. The beach was very dirty, and after coming out of the water, you have to be an acrobat to avoid falling due to the steep slope. Honestly, I would not return to Tortuga Beach. On the positive side, the apartment was clean with good air conditioning, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the view was beautiful

Worst experience we've ever had with a rental! My family and I booked unit A103 in Fisherman's Cove for spring break. We paid almost $3,700 for the week. We were excited to enjoy a beachside condo and the pictures of the condo looked like a clean, nice place. When we got there we were shocked by the condition of the condo. Where to begin with the problems: First of all, check in is at 4pm on Saturday. Conveniently, the front desk also closes at 4pm on Saturday and they're closed all day Sunday too. Walking up to the condo I immediately had a bad feeling because the front door is in such bad shape. The wood is peeling off the frame and the bottom of the door has severe water damage. Entering the condo we immediately noticed that almost every single wall is damaged & dirty. Walked into the first bedroom and noticed the curtains were removed but the dingy metal rod and brackets remained. Walked into the next bedroom and there's a stain covered chair that looks like it's been soaked by multiple liquids, a dresser with stains all over the top, the tv stand that's supposed to be white is now yellow from the paint peeling off and whatever grossness has been growing on it, the bedframe has wood chipped off it all along the sides, someone threw their phone at the wall and left a perfect, phone sized dent in the wall right by the door, and the curtains were also removed but the metal brackets and curtain mechanicals all left up. At this point we thought, ok we're not getting our money's worth from an appearance/cosmetic/cleanliness standpoint, but it's still manageable. Then we walked into the lanai and noticed the door and windows had severe mold and dirt build up all around them. It was disgusting. With 3 little kids we worried about spending any time in that room, the room with views of the ocean, the main thing we're paying for. Seeing that mold made us start taking a closer look at the rest of the condo. That's when we noticed additional mold in the AC vent and on the kitchen baseboard. The AC vents were CAKED with dust. The rest of the rooms had layers of dust on everything. It was clear the condo wasn't cleaned well. At this point reality had set in that this was an absentee owner and the level of deferred maintenance was unacceptable. The mold alone makes it a health hazard for anyone to stay in the condo. It really shouldn't be rented out until its addressed. We tried calling the front desk to complain, no answer. The voicemail had an emergency line we could call, which we did. We talked to a guy named Dan who then came to the unit with Kelli (the property manager that hadn't left yet), and a maintenance man. I walked them through the entire condo and showed them all of the issues. One by one they minimalized the issues, including the mold. They were literally laughing and made the comment "What do you expect? This isn't the Ritz?". I responded that they were charging like it was the Ritz and that for the almost $600 a night we were being charged I could stay in a nice hotel and not what this condo had become with the insane levels of deferred maintenance and mold. Dan, the emergency contact then agreed with us that the condo was in rough shape and had items that needed to be addressed. Kelli however was defensive from the start and stayed that way. With the mold making it dangerous to stay there, we decided not to stay in the condo. I wasn't going to sacrifice my family's health. Obviously this put my family in a difficult position of having to find a place last minute, during the height of spring break, after already having spent money on this condo. We ended up finding a hotel 2 towns over at almost 9pm, wasting an entire day of our vacation with this ordeal. That's not including the next few days having to go back and forth with the management company and the owner on trying to pursue a refund. Unsurprisingly, the management company has been standoffish and unhelpful in trying to get a refund, instead there's more defensiveness and straight up lies about offering to deep clean the condo. No compromise was offered, only excuses. The owner, Steve, seemed to be used to the complaints. Nothing seemed like news to him and he didn't really seem to care about any of the issues I brought up; even sending him and management photographic evidence. Instead he tried to threaten & intimidate me by saying he'd sue me when I said I'd be disputing the credit card charge. Moral of the story is my loss is your gain. Learn from my mistakes and avoid this unit, this absentee owner, and this incompetent management company at all costs.

We have visited Fisherman's Cove for about 14 years, and this was our first return since the pandemic. Although the location on both the Gulf and bay is hard to beat, be aware that the beach has eroded significantly. I understand they are replenishing sand in 2024, so we will not return next year, as the beach will most likely be down to rocks. We had some issues with the cleanliness of our condo-- mold in showers, coffee maker hadn't been washed, etc. Management took care of this as soon as I let them know. Also simple maintenance needed attention-- parts of refrigerator door were broken, only one of three light bulbs in master bedroom were working, etc. The place really needs a renovation.

We stayed here over the 4th of July on the 2nd floor. The place was impeccably cleaned. The view was spectacular and the sunsets were even better. Our unit was fresh with many amenities. The office staff were extremely friendly. We met lots of friendly people and made some new friends. It's a hop skip and a jump to Siesta Key Beach and the village. However, it's only steps to Turtle Beach. I can't wait to go back! Oh and the free trolley ride into the Village every 10 minutes was a nice treat!

Most beautiful paradise I have ever vacationed at. Great condo. Outstanding views, Maintenance is on sight and ready to assist with all of your needs. On top of the Gulf of Mexico. I would never stay anywhere but there in a siesta key. Kelly is the bomb!!! If you stay elsewhere you are being shortchanged!!!

We were looking for a quiet place right on the beach. Fisherman's Cove was perfect. The 2 bedroom condo was great for 2 couples. All needed amenities, well stocked kitchen, helpful and kind staff. Only steps from our door to the beach. ( or 7 minute drive to white sand, Siesta Key Beach). Will definitely return.

We had a beautiful and peaceful family vacation at Fisherman's Cove. Our Condo was fantastic, and the view of the gulf was amazing! The Checking in and out process was simple! The beach is peaceful, and we were lucky enough to experience the hatching of the sea turtles! The beach is very easy access. We also utilized the Kayak's and paddleboards that were available to rent right outside of the parking lot. The location is excellent and we would go back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic condos directly on the Gulf. Newly renovated (contractor specials) but clean and well maintained Walk 25 feet and you're on a beautiful beach with Caribbean water.

Stayed here over the 4th of July week. Nice accommodations. It was exactly as described on VRBO. The owner of my unit was very friendly and responded quickly to a request. The complex is well tended and clean. My wife bragged on the quality of the mattress, too. Beach is very nice. It was rebuilt recently. The sand is okay - not the really white fine grain sand that is on the north end of the island. Water was beautiful and crystal clear. Caught a few fish off the beach, too. The public beach is right next door and got pretty crowded on the weekend and the 4th. If I come back I will book a unit in Building B which is further from the public access. We brought our small boat, which presented the problem of where to keep the trailer. There is a dock available here, but they don't allow boat trailers in the parking lot. Ended up parking it down at the public boat ramp next door. It was okay there, but I worried about it being stolen or towed the whole time. Also, be warned about the police. They are zealous with regard to traffic, which is probably a good thing on balance. But they did seem to be petty. Quick to write parking tickets and pull people over.

Great place. Awesome beach! We're here in the off season (late June). No complaints at all. Close to town. Pool is open 24hrs. Our a/c crapped out and they were quick to get it fixed. Highly recommend, we'll be back next year!
