Fisherman's daughter B&B

The Fisherman’s Daughter is an exceptional B&B. Location is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and are filled with wonderful little touches to add a homey feeling. Cathy is an exceptional host, her warm personality is extremely welcoming! She takes such care in the wonderfully delicious breakfast every morning and is always happy to give recommendations on things to do and places to visit throughout your stay. The resident labrador, Murphy is a perfect host as well, such a calm and happy pup to help you feel welcome. If you are visiting the Mahone Bay area, this is the perfect home base! I highly recommend choosing the Captain’s Quarters when you book your stay!

This was by far our favorite place during our trip out East. Beautiful home, warm and inviting. Cathy is amazing! She is just a wonderful lady, with a fantastic personality and her cooking is outstanding! We loved it here, highly recommend it to all. An added bonus, was getting to interact with Murphy Brown, Cathy's dog. He is such a sweetheart and he literally looked like he was smiling at you every time you arrived back at the B&B. We will definitely return to this wonderful place! Thank you, Cathy! Give Murphy Brown some love for us. 😀

Fabulous spot across from the water and situated between two of the famous 3 churches. Cathy, the host, is wonderful and could not have done more to make our 5 day visit better. She prepared an amazing breakfast every day. The bedroom had a comfy queen bed with lots of closet space and drawers, a small fridge, a coffee maker and full bathroom with shower. Great visit and we would go back in a heart beat.

Can not recommend this place enough. Cathy was super welcoming and the food was delicious. Just minutes walk from the stores and restuarunts. The rooms are bright and welcoming and very comfortable. Cathy was very understanding of my dietary issues and was able to work with me so I could have a delicious and filling breakfast.

Had an excellent stay at the Fisherman's daughter B&B. Cathy is an excellent host, the house is lovely, and Murphy (pictured) is such a delight! The breakfast was delicious, I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone, you won't regret it! Thank you Cathy!

We have never been to Mahone Bay but decided it would be a great location to visit Mahone Bay and the surrounding area. We stayed at Fisherman's Daughter for 4 nights. When we arrived Cathy (the host) was very welcoming and explained all the details of the B&B and the area. We had a nice comfortable room on the 2nd floor of this historic home. What a friendly environment. Every morning while eating a very scrumptious breakfast we met all the other visitors while discussing where they were from, where they've been and where they're going. Cathy was always there asking us our plans for the day and making suggestions about things to do, restaurants, etc. She even mentioned the memorial for the Swissair Flight 111 that crashed near Peggy's Cove in 1998. Thanks for that. When we left Mahone Bay we felt like we were part of the Fisherman's Daughter family. Wonderful memories.|Ed & Betsy (Niagara Falls)

Wonderful experience! Cathy is a brilliant host, providing lovely clean rooms & sharing her knowledge of the area to ensure you have the best stay. Her breakfasts are the best I’ve ever had at a B&B!

A beautiful place to stay. The B &b is well located. Our bedroom was very pretty with the bonus of a coffee machine and a fridge. It was very clean and tidy. The host Cathy makes a beautiful breakfast and is very knowledgeable about the area. Thanks Cathy and Monroe,
