Stayed here in November 2024, everything about our stay was wonderful, breakfast was always so delicious and well-balanced, the portion was perfect.. can’t get enough of the parfait! We love everything about our room too, everything was thoughtfully prepared and super clean. We really enjoy the breakfast conversations and appreciate our awesome host, Cathy, sharing her knowledge about the area and more. Thank you very much for your hospitality and friendship, Cathy!

From the moment Cathy greeted us, until we sadly had to leave, our visit was like being in the home of an old friend. Cathy shared so much interesting information about the area and items she had in her home. She was so warm and friendly. Our room was lovely and had everything we could need (bed was very comfortable). The breakfast both mornings was delicious. It was a perfect two days and we hated to say goodbye. If you are in the area don’t miss this jewel.

Mahone Bay is a great hub for exploring the south shore and The Fisherman’s Daughter a wonderful place to stay! Cathy is so welcoming, her breakfasts are delicious and the room we stayed was comfortable and cool during a particularly hot spell. She even came up with jumper cables when I left the lights on in our rental car all night! Her recommendations for the area were spot on and we spent 5 days there exploring the area and enjoying her warm and kind hospitality. This was a great place to stay and I could not recommend it more highly!

Our stay was excellent! Cathy was an amazing host, friendly and helpful. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality were exceptional. The breakfasts were delicious and the other guests there during our stay were equally as impressed. The location of this B&B is perfect for visiting the shops and restaurants in Mahone Bay and convenient to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. This stay truly earned a five star rating!

Beautifully restored and decorated older house. Our room had a view of the water, and was very comfortable. The host, Cathy, was warm and very helpful without being overbearing. Her breakfasts were super, and Cathy accommodated special preferences. It was the best place we stayed in our 2-week vacation in the Maritimes. It's an easy drive to Lunenberg, which has great restaurants and shops. And the whole part of the coast is beautiful.
